Impossible Things (Charlie x Alastor)

When one places an all-powerful madman in a building full of problematic immoral demons, things do tend to get a bit out of hand. Especially when these shenanigans lead to making another news headline and get broadcasted to all corners of Hell. Alastor would merely refer to it as free publicity and sublime comedy.

Charlie narrowed her eyes at him as he showed her the morning newspaper.

“You seem to be having the time of your afterlife.“

“I am not denying that in the least, my dear. However, this does get us more traffic and more clients. Everyone wants to come and enjoy the free spectacle we have to offer.“

She lightly smiled at him.

“You’re impossible.“

His grin widened, as he loomed over her, eyes glowing a deep red. He placed a finger under her chin, tilting his head.

“And you have a penchant for impossible things, don’t you?“

Warmth was present in her cheeks, and she couldn’t help but giggle.

“Oh, stop it, you. I’m not going to let you charm your way out of this.“

“Are you sure about that? Your determination does tend to waver the moment I use my secret weapon of music.“

“You would not dare.“

“I am known to be quite a daring individual.“

Charlie giggled at his nonsense, and he made a melodramatic bow to amuse her. His shadowy companions manifested within the room, and formed a small orchestra, playing a soft jazz tune. Alastor lightly brought Charlie closer, taking her into a nameless dance of his own creation. She allowed him to lead, letting her mind wander off and forget her worries. She sighed and looked up at him.

“Did you change your mind about the concept of redeeming a demon?“

“It is still complete and utter lunacy, sweetheart.“

“Oh…“

“A madness I shall willingly accompany you in, my dear. After all, what is Alice without a smiling Cheshire Cat? We can definitely accomplish six impossible things before breakfast each day.“

Charlie made a soft laugh, and then made a sly smile at him.

“Speaking of which, I bet I can beat you in a riddle game.“

“Challenge accepted, my dear.“

Minutes became hours as the two enjoyed each other’s company, and with each passing second, doubts and fears disappeared from Charlie’s mind, replaced only with smiles, smiles, smiles…

Arranged Marriage (Title WIP)

AU where Lucifer arranges Alastor with Charlie to help strengthen the royal family and ensure the safety of the house. It’s just business.

(This was sent from my phone, sorry if the format is messed up. I came up with this idea and I just had to write about it. I’ll probably continue it, we’ll see!)

It was a quiet day at the hotel. The few denizens of the hotel were still asleep but Charlie was almost always up early. Early enough to coordinate and prepare for breakfast and the various events of the day. There would be a group therapy session after breakfast and maybe some activities to let the guests blow off some stream.

It was going to be another nice and quiet day for her. At least it was supposed to be.

She heard the front door of the hotel ring from the kitchen so she put on her happiest face and marched out to greet her next potential guest.

However what met her were two of the most powerful wide-grinning demons in Hell.

“Charlotte, how I missed you!” Lucifer cried out and leaned down to give his daughter the biggest hug she’d ever received from him. The abruptness of it made her whole body tense.

Charlie tentatively returned the hug “D-dad?” as soon as she spoke, Lucifer pulled away but kept his hand on either of Charlie’s shoulders. “Uh what are you doing with Alastor?” She leaned to look around the demon to point at Alastor who stood close by, just observing the interaction with his signature grin splayed over his face.

Lucifer nearly pushed Charlie away to move back to Alastor’s side. “Dear, you are getting older now and I know you have this dream thing… or whatever, but I think it’s time for you to think of the future!” He gestured his cane toward Alastor, who still stood there, saying nothing. “I know he’s a lot younger than you but what is a few centuries or two?” He leaned on his cane and chuckled.

Charlie had no words and only looked back and forth at the two looming figures as if it was her way of processing. Alastor finally chimed in with his radio-backed voice “What your father is trying to say is that we should get hitched! Tie the knot! Take the plunge! Conjugate-“

“What?!” Charlie’s exclamation startled Lucifer into nearly falling off his cane. “D-dad you can’t be serious right?” Charlie’s nervous chuckle did not amuse Lucifer. He stared her down with a serious glare that she knew all too well. “This is just a jo…” she stopped and shut her mouth. She looked away from her father and she felt whatever confidence she had melt away.

Alastor’s laugh track pulled Charlie’s attention back to him. “My dear this is certainly not a joke. I’m afraid I’m deathly serious,” Alastor’s impossibly wide smile widened even further and it sent chills down Charlie’s spine.

“Al, why are you doing this? I know you have no interest in me, you don’t even give a damn about me!” She shot an accusatory finger toward him which, to Charlie’s surprise worked well enough to make him back off. Charlie knew her father would disapprove of this behavior but she didn’t care. If she even glanced at him, she’d lose this momentum.

“On the contrary dear Charlie, you do catch my interest in a way. I just think this arrangement can better solidify our partnership into something more permanent,” he bent to get to nearly whisper into her ear “Your father proposed this and I think it’s an excellent idea. I believe we both will benefit from this.” He straightened quickly and the pair turned their gazes to Lucifer who even seemed to be a tad nervous himself.

Charlie caught his attention again “What are you planning?” She hissed through her teeth so only Alastor could hear.

The taller demon’s smile didn’t waver. He reached down to grasp her hand and held it up between them. “Nothing! Like I said, your father proposed this. My guess is that he wants to prevent me from harming you and your family,” he said nonchalantly. “He’s quite the businessman. Offering his daughter in exchange for peace,” he belted a strong chortle “Oh… how wonderful. I couldn’t help but accept. It was certainly a wild turn of events even I couldn’t have anticipated!” His wide smile grew in size and Charlie felt his tight grip tighten.

She tugged a couple of times before slipping from his grasp and take a step back. “Right… Al you know this is a big deal right? And I’m not exactly single either you know!” Charlie explained with a strained smile and a nervous chuckle. “Do you really want to marry me because you’re bored?”

“Yes!” He immediately answered. “It’s nothing I could have imagined! It’s nothing anyone could have imagined! Who would have ever thought that I would become part of the royal family of Hell! Hahaha! We haven’t even announced the news to the denizens of Hell yet and I’m already simply elated!” He clasped his hands together and nearly danced as he spoke. He continued on a tangent of something Charlie began tuning out.

The young demon heiress leaned over to look at her father’s reaction to all of this. His apparent nervousness seemed to dissipate, but he still held onto the apple top of his cane tightly. He shot her a look of expectancy and nodded his head at her.

Charlie crossed her arms and sighed warily. It was still early and yet she already felt drained. Too many thoughts spun in her head and she didn’t know how to feel. Devastated? Angry? Sad? All of the above maybe? It didn’t matter. She was engaged to one of the most powerful demons in Hell and he was marrying her all because he was bored.

Linked - Charlastor

It had never been the most comforting sight. The view never changed; the same red sky, the same boring pavement. This sector of Pentagram City hadn’t been touched for as long as she could remember and she was almost certain that it was due to the fact that she resided here.

Charlie let out a sigh and rubbed her cheek. She couldn’t remember a time in her life where she felt this unsettled. She’d been uncomfortable, sure, plenty of times. But now, she felt like something was just barely off and she wasn’t sure what it was.

“Hey, what’s with the moping?” A hand came to rest on her shoulder and she peeked over.

Vaggie looked concerned, which she appreciated. Charlie hadn’t really spoken much throughout the day - usually she was a chatterbox at best. She felt like her tongue was in too many knots and her stomach felt like heaving.

“Just thinking.” Charlie’s voice was quiet, just a touch above a whisper.

“Yeah? About what?” Vaggie nudged Charlie just the slightest and the blonde demon scoot over on the window seat so her best friend could sit next to her.

Charlie hummed, shrugging, “A lot of things, I guess.” She paused a second, watching a car move by outside, “Say, do you feel like anything is kind of, well, I don’t know, off?”

Vaggie rolled her eyes and leaned against the window, “The static is gone for once.”

It made sense in Charlie’s head then, why she felt so unbalanced. Alastor had been chased from the hotel earlier that day and was forbidden from returning until the next day - some human tradition that Vaggie and Angel had been very adamant on fulfilling.

“Oh, you’re right.” The normal sound of static that drifted through the halls of the hotel was gone and she suddenly felt ten times more lonely.

The pair sat in silence for another few minutes, watching the lights outside slowly dim and the people on the streets begin to fade. Nighttime in Pentagram City was either bustling or silent and there was no in-between.

Charlie began to gnaw on her lower lip, eyes darting back and forth. Was this even right? Some weight pressed on her chest and she took a deep breath, doing her best to push past it. She knew she was nervous for no reason; it wasn’t like anything would change.

Well, except for the fact -

“Hey! Why are you guys locked up in here! There’s shit to do!” The door flung open and Angel stood in the frame, a pair of hands on his hips, “At least Vags needs to come help!”

“I’ve been helping all day, I deserve a damn break.” Vaggie closed her eyes and groaned, rubbing her forehead, “Isn’t everything set up?”

“No!”

“It’s nine at night! We should all be getting ready for bed, anyway!”

“Too much to do, party pooper. Let’s go!” Angel took a few steps to cross the room, looming over the pair of demons, “Miss Sunshine, too! We need your opinion on a few things.”

“Oh, alright, Angel.” Charlie let a smile come to her face - spending enough time with Alastor would have anyone smiling naturally.

When she woke up the next morning, it was because Niffty and Mimzy were prodding her awake with a steaming tray of breakfast foods. Angel, who had at some point taken control of all the planning, had ordered them up to wake her up and get her fed so she would be ready for the rest of the day.

“Thank you.” Charlie murmured as she picked up a fork, rubbing her eyes with the other hand.

“You’re welcome!” Niffty smiled wide at her, nodding.

“See you later,” Mimzy nodded and the two left the room, chatting quietly to each other.

The blonde focused on trying to eat, she really did. The nerves that were twisting her stomach up were forcing her to feel like she was going to dry heave; a bit of toast was all she was able to get down her throat.

She was really missing the usual sound of static that surrounded her.

Charlie pushed the tray away, mindful to move a few things around to make it look like she at least tried to eat and then pushed the covers down and crawled out of bed. A few carefully placed stretches helped to make her feel a little more relaxed.

Her phone buzzed on the table by the bed and she leaned over to pick it up, her heart fluttering just slightly. Charlie slid her thumb across the screen to open the phone call and pushed it against her ear.

“Good morning, darling!”

“Hi, Al.” The tension that was building in her lower stomach eased and she lowered herself onto the bed.

His voice sounded extra filtered over the phone and she knew he was using the old landline that was at the radio tower, “How did you sleep?”

“Oh, fine.” Her voice was clipped, short. She wanted to hear his voice more than anything, “Did you get any sleep?”

“Plenty! I have to be ready for today. Are you sure you slept well?” He sounded like he was shuffling around and Charlie could hear another voice in the background, “Ah, Husker is trying to swipe the phone away from me, my dear. I’m not quite sure why!”

Charlie laughed, “He’s probably been told by Angel to keep you away from me.”

“How foolish.” There was a scuffle for a moment and she heard Alastor in his ever-calming voice, tell Husk to back away or he’d eat him before his voice became clearer again, “I admit I’m not used to not seeing you every morning, so when I woke, I figured I’d somehow work this device to ring you!”

“Ever a gentleman, Al.” Charlie grinned softly.

She could feel him preen at her words, “I do strive to be so!”

She hummed a sound of contentment, twirling a lock of her curls, “Did you eat this morning?”

“I did!” His voice turned even more chipper and she rolled her eyes, “I won’t go into specifics, but I am feeling rather energetic!”

“Well, I’m glad about that. I’m, uh -” She cleared her throat, “I’m sorta nervous!”

“Darling,” His voice lowered and she felt like he got closer to the receiver, “It will all be well soon.”

She felt any remaining anxiety start to melt away as he continued to speak.

“All the buildup, the theatrics! Of course it’s nerve wracking. I wouldn’t suspect anything else. You’ll find it’s easier than you suspect.”

“You sound like an expert.” She teased him, her heart fluttering.

He laughed, “No, not in the slightest! I suppose I just know you, darling.”

She didn’t respond, just letting out a shaky breath. He didn’t seem offended by her not speaking back; Alastor continued to ramble about the radio tower and how he’d found it in slight disarray when he’d gotten there yesterday. Over time, she found herself moving back up to the pillows and tugging one of the blankets over her. His voice was soothing in the best way, the white noise in the background lulling her eyelids closed.

Just as Charlie was sure she was about to fall asleep, a resounding knock hit her door and she gasped, sitting up.

“Charlie?” His voice had an edge to concern and she shook her head to wake herself back up.

“Someone’s just knocking on my door. I was about to fall back asleep.”

He chuckled and she got up to open the door. Angel was staring at her, both sets of arms crossed and an unamused expression on his face.

“Who's that you’re talking to?”

“Uh - Al, I should probably go.”

“You’re talking to him! You swore you wouldn’t!”

“I'll see you soon, darling!”

“Bye, Alastor!” Charlie pulled the phone away from her ear and pressed the end call button, swallowing the lump that started to form in her throat once more, “For the record, I told you I wouldn’t call him.”

Angel snorted, “You expect me to believe that he called you?”

“He did! Look!” She turned the phone screen over to him so that he could see that the most recent call had been received and not sent out, “I wouldn’t lie, you know me better than that Angel.”

He huffed and snatched the phone from her hand, shoving it into a pocket in his jacket, “You’ll get this back later, Blondie.”

“Angel!” She tried to swipe it back but he dodged her and he let out a snicker, “C’mon!”

“No! We have so much to do. Didja even eat any of that breakfast?”

She went quiet.

Angel sighed. It was going to be a very long day.

Charlie closed her eyes and took a deep breath. The lace that was so delicately lain on her skin; the soft feel of silk helped calm her down and ground her to where she was right now. Thought it was a smaller affair, she could still feel the tension in the air.

Perhaps that was just her tension.

It was due to start any minute now - Angel would be opening a door for her to walk through soon. He had dictated what she should be doing and how to do it, even running through it the whole time. She had told him that he would be a marvellous planner for other events for the hotel and he had scoffed at her, telling her that doing this had been enough for him for the next century.

Was she even doing the correct thing? One foot took a half step back. What would come about with this? Would it hit her reputation in some disastrous way?

The hotel was doing great; she’d been able to redeem a handful of souls throughout the years since the startup. It kept her going on - would doing this make demons want to keep away from the hotel? She still owed an enormous debt to her citizens. Charlie could save them; it was the only thing she had ever dreamed of doing.

Never once had something like this occurred to her. Taking the time to just do something for herself was causing a war to stir in her mind and Charlie wasn’t sure how to deal with it.

Just as her wobbly knees were going to give out, the door opened and Angel slipped through, a playful grin on his face.

“C’mon then, princess.” He extended a hand, “Time to go.”

He must have not noticed the look on her face or he opted to ignore her, but she felt obliged to reach out and grab onto the offered hand. He pulled her close and then reached with another set of hands to fix the flower crown that rested across her head.

“Hey,” Angel murmured, softer than Charlie had ever seen him, “Break a leg.”

“Thanks.” Her voice was a whisper and he squeezed her hand once before slipping back through the door.

There was only a handful of people through that door and the thought calmed her down. Just her friends - not that anyone else in Hell would have wanted to come. She’d sent a few invitations out to some others, but no one had replied and she hadn’t expected them to.

`

Just as Charlie was about to reach out to open the door, a hand pressed against her elbow and she felt her throat tighten. Her head snapped over to the left and all reservations seemed to drop in that moment.

“ . . .Dad?”

Lucifer stood there, eyes firmly locked on hers. He seemed to have some sort of anger burning in the back of his eyes and she couldn’t blame him - there would be no universe that he would be pleased with her decision. He was dressed in the same outfit he usually wore and something about him being there calmed her down; he wasn’t there to berate her. She could tell.

“What are you doing here?” She could hear the faint tones of a piano playing inside of the room.

He cleared his throat, rearranging their arms so that hers was linked with his, “I suppose I shouldn’t miss my own daughter’s wedding.”

Charlie let out a choked laugh and tried her best to not let the tears fall. Angel would kill her if her makeup was ruined; he’d spent hours on it earlier. Lucifer looked at her once and squeezed her arm in an affectionate way before reaching out and opening the door for them.

The music swirled around them and Charlie found herself looking around. There were a few chairs that were arranged down a makeshift aisle - they were in one of the prettier parlours in the hotel. Angel had really gone all out for the room and had spent ages looking for faux flowers that he’d spun around the room and there were candles lit to bring a nice ambiance. Her friends were stood, turned toward her and she could see the surprise on all of their faces to see Lucifer standing right next to her.

Charlie’s breath caught when she realized her own mother was standing by one of the seats in the front - she had a cool smile on her face and Charlie could see the pride shimmering in her eyes. Regardless of who she was choosing to marry, Lillith was proud of her daughter.

Once she had taken in the environment as they slowly inched their way up the aisle, her eyes suddenly came to meet with Alastor and her breath was stolen once more. Instead of the usual red that he wore, he was dressed in a simple black tux - something she wasn’t even certain he would wear unless it was an occasion as this. She had to admit, it looked amazing on him and she liked the fact that he didn’t change his bowtie. The grin on his face was reserved, eyes hooded as he watched her approach.

Charlie felt her foot pace increase and when there was a light pressure on her arm, she remembered to slow down. Lucifer gave her another squeeze and nodded just barely so she knew she was still doing alright.

Once they reached the end of the aisle, where an arch decorated in a variety of faux flowers rose above them, Lucifer took hold of Charlie’s hand and then turned to Alastor.

“If I find out you’ve hurt her in any way, Radio Demon -”

“She is safe with me.” Alastor’s voice was less filtered; genuine, “I would never hurt such a bright ray of sunshine.”

Lucifer pursed his lips, contemplating, before settling Charlie’s hand in Alastor’s outstretched one. He squeezed all of their hands together for a moment before letting go. Charlie felt almost the rest of her anxiety melt away when Alastor squeezed her fingers and the normal sound of white noise returned to her.

Her father moved to their other side - another reason he had decided to come was to be able to officiate the wedding. He was one of the few in Hell with the power; most demons did not marry for the very reason that they were here to not have bonds. Lucifer didn’t care to have anyone else head it.

The words spoken were soft and filled Charlie’s head but didn’t seem to make too much sense. She copied the promises that fell from her father’s mouth and felt her head fog. All she could focus on was that Alastor was here and his eyes were like windows to whatever soul he had left; he was so genuine and articulate with every word he spoke during the ceremony.

When Alastor took hold of her left hand and slid on the ring, she was unable to actually see what it looked like since her eyes were so clouded with tears. Her own fingers shook when she took hold of his hand and slid on the plain gold band; it contrasted against his skin in the best of ways.

When his hand cupped her cheek and he kissed her and stole her breath, Charlie was unable to help herself from tossing her arms around his neck and pulling him closer. He didn’t seem to mind; wrapping one arm around her waist and drawing her against him. The sound of applause drifted through her head.

When Alastor withdrew, she nearly followed him to keep him connected but he was able to move fast enough back that they parted. She blinked her eyes, dazed, tightening her hold on his neck.

Alastor’s voice was soft as it crackled against her ear and he spoke the words that had her heart racing and made everything feel as if it was all worth it.

“My wife.”

Spa Day (A Charlastor Fic)

A/N: Apologies for the long post! I haven’t figured out how to add a “Read More” link on mobile. Also, I wrote the majority of this after a couple of margaritas😆 But am really happy with how it turned out! I hope y’all enjoy the fluffiness!!❤️

It was an early morning at the Hazbin Hotel, and Charlie, Vaggie, Niffty, and Husk were already awake and busy moving furniture around the foyer. Charlie was so pleased with the progress her tenants were making with their rehabilitation that she decided to organize a spa day at the hotel! Needless to say, she was very excited. They had rented several specialized tables for massages and facials, and were repurposing the hotel’s softest armchairs into manicure/pedicure stations. There were also a multitude of folding partitions that the crew used to separate each station, for a little extra privacy.

Just after she and Vaggie spread out the last partition between two massage tables, Charlie stepped back to admire their handiwork, wiping the sweat from her brow with the back of her hand as she did so. She smiled, satisfied and excited for the day to come. However, her grin faltered as she realized that something, or rather someone, was missing: her beloved mate, Alastor, better known as the Radio Demon. She had no clue where he was and hoped he was alright. After a few moments, though, Charlie shrugged and turned back to the rest of her friends. Alastor had a habit of coming and going as he pleased, especially when he decided to go on one of his “hunts”, but she was sure he’d turn up sooner or later that day.

“Alright! Gather around, everyone!” Charlie called, beckoning the others over to her. After finishing up the tasks at hand, they approached her, awaiting what she would say next. “So! Like we discussed before, here’s how today is going to go. Niffty will do manicures and pedicures, Angel will give massages, Vaggie will do facials, and Husk will supply everyone with hot tea and/or champagne. But remember, no more than one glass of champagne per person! I’ll be helping each of you as needed and making sure that everything runs smoothly. Any questions?” The others shook their heads. “Alright! Let’s head to our stations and get ready!!” With that, Charlie pranced off to direct their tenants to their desired spa service, while her fellow staff members walked to their respective stations at a more sedate pace.

A couple hours in, their spa day was going perfectly! Soothing soundscapes serenaded the hotel tenants from speakers placed strategically around the lobby. Meanwhile, Vaggie applied a moisturizing mask to the face of an anglerfish demon; Angel used his many arms to massage knots out of the back muscles of a tall, red-skinned demon who he seemed quite taken with; Niffty excitedly conversed with a black-furred hellhound as she painted her nails with an iridescent silver polish; and Husk carried a tray containing mugs of chamomile tea to a few demons relaxing on one of the lobby’s plush couches.

Sighing contentedly, Charlie was about to make another round to check on each of her friends’ progress when she heard the front door creak open ever so slightly. She turned around just as none other than Alastor stepped surreptitiously into the lobby. He looked uncharacteristically tired. That, coupled with the fact that she hadn’t seen him since the previous afternoon, made her think that he was either hunting, putting other high-ranking demons in their place, or both. Even though his clothes looked a little rumpled, which was also unusual for him, he had obviously taken care to remove any bloodstains from his previous activities, whatever they were. Charlie smiled fondly at him. He knew that she was a little squeamish (as funny as that was, seeing as how she was the Princess of Hell) and she really appreciated the effort he put into being more thoughtful and sensitive.

“Al!” Charlie exclaimed, all but running over to her mate and giggling happily as she wrapped her arms around him. “I missed you,” she murmured in a softer tone. She took a few moments to lay her head against his lean chest and savor the sound of his strong heartbeat, then peeked up at him with an adoring expression on her face.

The Radio Demon chuckled, then placed a soft kiss on her forehead and nuzzled his nose against hers as he returned her fond gaze with one of his own.

“Well hello there sweetheart. I missed you too,” Alastor replied in a low tone, the usual radio feedback gone from his voice for those few moments.

Charlie felt her cheeks flush at their close proximity and his sultry tone of voice, which only caused her mate’s trademark grin to stretch wider.

“A-are you feeling alright? Did your...hunt, or whatever, go well? You look a little tired, Al,” Charlie inquired, cupping his face with one of her hands as her brow furrowed on concern.

Alastor chuckled, closing his eyes briefly as he covered her hand with one of his own and leaned into her gentle touch. “Not to worry, my dear! Got into a bit of a skirmish with Vox but all is well now. Your ‘deer’ Radio Demon showed him who’s really in charge around here.” Alastor purposefully pitched his voice down an octave and his gaze toward Charlie turned half-lidded. He was doing his best to fluster her as he loved seeing her reactions, and he definitely wasn’t disappointed.

Charlie blushed even more at that and had to turn away briefly until she could get her complexion under control. Once she regained her composure, she turned back to her mate with a bright smile and an idea that would hopefully help him relax after the stressful night he’d had.

“So...I know I mentioned that I’d be organizing a spa day for our tenants since everyone has been making such great progress!” Alastor nodded along, gazing attentively at his mate with his usual grin in place. “The thing is, though...all of the other staff are occupied with giving treatments to our residents.” Charlie began to get a little flustered at the thought of what she was about to ask Alastor, but soldiered on anyway. “Um...I know you’ve had a stressful night, what with dealing with Vox and all...so, is there anything I can do to help you relax? A massage, maybe...?” Charlie trailed off, gazing up at Alastor inquiringly with her naturally red-stained cheeks colored an even darker red by her prominent blush.

Alastor’s eyes widened a fraction at his mate’s forwardness, though the rest of his expression remained unchanged. “Why, Charlie, my dear! So forward today!” He laughed to himself, then leveled his mate with a warm gaze and took one of her hands in his own. “You know I’m not one for such...intimate activities,” At that, Charlie’s demeanor deflated almost imperceptibly, though she strived to remain considerate of him and his preferences as far as physical touch was concerned. “But! If it’s you who will be doing the massaging, my dear, how could I ever refuse?”

Charlie’s grin returned to its usual brightness as she grabbed Alastor’s hands in her own and began to pull him toward the hotel’s grand staircase. “Great!! You’ll be relaxed and recharged again in no time!! Since there are so many demons down here already, would you feel a little more comfortable if I gave you your massage in our room?”

Alastor’s gaze softened as he wrapped one arm around Charlie’s waist and pulled her close to his side. “That sounds wonderful, sweetheart. Thank you.”

With that, the pair began to climb the staircase to their suite on the top floor of the hotel. Angel caught Charlie’s gaze as they passed, and he gave her a wink and six thumbs-up when he caught sight of her and Alastor nestled so closely against one another. Charlie blushed slightly but nonetheless gave her friend a subtle smile and thumbs-up of her own.

Once Charlie and Alastor entered their tastefully-decorated suite, Charlie closed and locked the door behind them. “Now, when people get massages, they normally remove their shirts to give the massage therapist easier access to their back. But if you don’t want to do that, Al, it’s perfectly fine!! Just undress to your comfort level. Or not at all! Whatever you want to do.” When Charlie finished speaking and finally turned around, however, her jaw dropped and her eyes widened. There was her devilishly handsome mate laying shirtless on their bed. He was stretched out comfortably on his stomach with his eyes closed serenely and his head resting on top of his crossed arms.

“I’m ready when you are, my sweet,” he all but purred.

“O-okay!” Charlie squeaked. She scurried to their en suite bathroom to grab a bottle of coconut oil and returned to the bedside.

With a snap of his fingers, Alastor turned on the same soothing spa music Charlie had playing in the lobby, as his mate warmed some of the oil between her hands. She began massaging his back in broad strokes, then decided to focus on his shoulders where she felt the most tension. Alastor groaned softly in pleasure, already feeling himself melting beneath her attentive hands.

After spending about 20 minutes loosening the knots in her mate’s back muscles, Charlie instructed him to turn over so she could work on his neck muscles with the aid of gravity. Alastor sighed, a content smile stretching across his face as Charlie’s nimble fingers massaged the back of his neck. A few minutes later, she pleasantly surprised him by reaching up to massage his scalp, followed by his soft ears. She rubbed them from their base to their furry, tufted tips, delighting in the soft moans he seemed to subconsciously utter.

Deciding that he had reached his limit, Alastor gently but firmly grabbed Charlie around the waist and pulled her on top of him.

“A-Al...?” Charlie questioned with curiosity as she glanced up to see his eyes closed and a soft smile on his handsome face.

“Shh...let’s just relax,” Alastor murmured as he wrapped one arm around Charlie’s back and carded through her silken hair with the fingers of his opposite hand.

“Mm...alright...” Charlie mumbled with a yawn, snuggling against Alastor’s lean but firm chest and already beginning to drift off.

Just as they were both about to fall asleep, Alastor whispered, “Thanks for looking out for me, doll. I love you.”

Say, idk if you're still doing these but you don't mind writing #29?

29. As a Promise

(I hope you like this one! This is the last one for the day and I’ll continue posting more requests tomorrow ❤️ thank you for the request!)

With everyone gone up to Heaven, things were much more quiet. Too quiet even. Nearly everyone Charlie was close to was gone. All that was left was her, Alastor and the hotel with their few guests. The hotel was slowly gaining patrons, but Charlie was too scared to get close to them. One day those patrons will be gone to Heaven too while she’ll always be left behind.

Charlie sat on the floor by her bed and brought her knees up to her chest. Tears didn’t flow, but her eyes felt heavy. She closed her eyes and hoped everyone was having fun in heaven. She couldn’t join them, and had no way of communicating with Heaven so all she had was hope.

The sudden sound of footsteps caught Charlie’s attention. She looked up and found Alastor walking up to her. He’d been watching over her lately, asking her how she was doing, if she was okay, if she needed anything. The face she’d been putting up until now was crumbling around her.

She didn’t bother to fix her appearance to save face. “Al, what are you doing here?”

“You seemed a bit off today, I thought maybe you needed some space but clearly that’s exactly what you don’t need,” he put both his hands behind his back and peered down at the curled up demon.

When he didn’t get a response, he softened his tone. “I know you miss them. Everyone’s gone and the likelihood you’re going to see them again is slim,” when he said that, Charlie only tightened into her curled form. No positive response. Alastor continued, trying another approach. “But nothing to worry about my dear. I’m not going anywhere,” He knelt in front of her and brought a hand to her cheek to raise her gaze. “I’m not going anywhere.” He repeated as he leaned over and kissed her forehead.

Charlie’s wide eyes stared up at him as he pulled away. “Al, I- Uh. Can you just sit with me for a while?” His smile softened as he nodded. She opened her closed posture and sat criss cross as the tall man sat on the floor next to her. Tentatively, Charlie reached for Alastor’s free hand and grasped it. Alastor didn’t hesitate to move to interlace their fingers. Charlie looked up and saw that Alastor’s eyes were closed and had a close-lipped smile in place. Feeling a lot more relaxed, Charlie leaned over to rest her head on his shoulder with a sigh. He was still here with her.

@helliondancer Said: Charlie Wiggles Into Alastors Bed And Nuzzled Against His Back, Her Arms Curling

@helliondancer said: Charlie wiggles into Alastor’s bed and nuzzled against his back, her arms curling around his waist as her fingers slid up his stomach until her fingers were coming through the fur upon his chest.

Alastor himself had settled into bed around fifteen minutes ago, sleeping the way he liked to, simple comfortable pants and no shirt. He could hear Charlie enter his room, he could feel her slip into his bed, and he would quickly cuddle closer to her by moving back a bit. He placed his hand over one of the ones in his fur.

“ You’ve been sleeping in my bed a lot recently, or I suppose with me than in this bed… Maybe we should start working towards us sharing a room. ”
