In my AU, Russia (RSFSR) is the favorite.
Why? Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but Russia benefited from everything the most as, I know Polish people said that they didn't benefit anything at all and it all went to Russia.
In my AU, the soviet Republics are also not really a fan of USSR. The younger ones want his attention, but then they grew out of it, and they all dislike him, and even hate him.
That's why in my AU, Russia, Belarus, Moldova and Armenia are the ones that have at least a neutral opinion of USSR.

The Soviet Union was one of the countries that welcomed the birth of Indonesia as an independent country and the Soviet Union condemned all forms of colonialism. Indonesian freedom fighters hoped for support and assistance from the Soviet Union. At the United Nations (UN), the Soviet Union repeatedly raised the issue of Indonesia and demanded that the UN stop Dutch military aggression, and called on the international community to recognize Indonesia as an independent country.
In 1956-1962, Indonesia had close relations with the Soviet Union, which was reflected in the frequent visits of the two heads of state. The Soviet Union played an important role in the liberation of West Irian, as President Sukarno aimed to eliminate all remnants of Dutch colonialism. In 1952, the Netherlands unilaterally included West Irian in its territory, while Indonesia considered it part of its own country. To avoid open war with the Netherlands, Indonesia needed strong military strength and sophisticated equipment. They explored options for acquiring military equipment from the United States and the Soviet Union.
Even though previous procurement efforts from the US failed because the Netherlands was its ally, Indonesia received a positive response from the Soviet Union. In late 1960, a contract was signed for the procurement of military equipment, which was delivered to Indonesia in early 1962. This contract strengthened the Indonesian Armed Forces and allowed for a peaceful resolution of the West Irian problem, so that West Irian could once again become so that West Irian could once again become part of Indonesia.

Mongolia is said to be the first satellite of the Soviet Union, further more they ADMIRED, PRAISED Soviet Union as their savior, and some even still do to this day(example my whole IRL Mongolian community and more I've met love Soviet Union, it does not mean that all Mongolians love them, some despise Soviet Union of course. It shows on the video where's he admiring Soviet up close or where he's questioned about Soviet, told that Soviet's bad. Mongolia signals that he doesn't know or have an opinion.
In history, the both nations and some other used to joke/talk about Mongolia being the 16th republic in the Soviet Union, because Mongolia had a deep bond connection with the Soviet Union and Mongolia wished or tried applying to the union, but got denied Mongolia was a buffer country between Soviet and China, thought they were still under control of soviet union.
The Soviet Union helped assistance to Mongolia and protected its independence, they were really helpful to the country.
They fought against the white army AND Chinese troops sending them back, in the occupation of Mongolia in 1919.
Basically took care of them. So they supported Soviet Union.
But sadly, there were still brutal massacre mass murders by the Soviet and more violence under it's control.
A fact I heard a Mongolian praise it and his opinion about the massacre was "we deserved it anyway" ???
