sometimes I think about this. I'm gonna ask him if he remembers being Crazy Dave

I grew up with Plants vs. Zombies. It was an integral part of my childhood. Naturally, being small children and wanting to play pretend, my siblings and I decided we each needed a plant to "be." I was a sunshroom. My oldest sister was a sunflower. I don't remember what my other older sister was, but I think it was perhaps a peashooter or a repeater. My little sister, pretty much a baby at the time, was a chomper. My little brother was Crazy Dave

he does remember but only barely. no particular opinions.

Plants vs Zombies theory but I completely forgot all the words said and whatever storyline there is so here you go:

So like Crazy Dave right? But what if we take the crazy out of Dave and now we just have Dave

Well what if I tell you that Dave is actually a super smart scientist and actually made the zombies in Plants vs Zombies

Basically before Plants vs Zombies started, Dave was a scientist who craved knowledge and creation. He was maybe experimenting on creating human life but ended up making a zombie. I forgot what the zombies name what but the zombie Dave first created was the boss zombie with the big brain

Now here's where it gets interesting.

Dave didn't kill or throw out or destroy something something to bz (boss zombie shortcut for convienence) but instead kept it to observe it

Now in Plants vs Zombies, zombies have personalities right? Well that's where bz got its personality from. Bz craves knowledge and creation because Dave is the only one who bz can gain a personality from observation. Which is why in Plants vs Zombies, bz is very determined to get Dave's brain because it has knowledge and knowledge of creation and also basicaly his creator and what brain tastes best if not from whoever made you?

So idk exactly how bz got out and started infecting or eating other peoples brain, imma leave that up to you guys but basically from bz observation from Dave, bz also somehow found out how to make others just like it, zombies. And cue to zombies being made and also why zombies have personalities

Now Dave didn't have enough time to make a cure and even if he did make a cure, the person could go bak to human but would they even still be alive? And so cue to Dave making the plants with the sunflower being the first plant he made (headcanon that Dave absolutely loves nature because nature is creation and has unknown knowledge just sitting there for someone to discover)

He realized that the sun the sunflower gives can help him create other plants more easier and so the peashooter is the next plant made

Now how did he become Crazy Dave?

Well remember that talking time-dimension-travelling van? I vaguely remember it but didn't Crazy Dave say that the van was a time travelling machine? Well I don't think it's a time travelling van but a dimension travelling van

So Dave created the van and realized that he had some wrong calculations and he didn't make it a time travelling machine (him making a time traveling machine so he could time travel back in time to stop the creation of bz) but somehow a dimension travelling one??? How do you do that. How do you fail making a time travel machine but somehow made a dimension travelling one. How does that work? Idk but let's just say it's Dave knowedge

Basically he only found out that the van isn't a time travel one was when he first tried it out and it sent him to some egyptian world where zombies are still there too

Now that's also where he became Crazy Dave

Idk how exactly but maybe got hit hard in the head by a pan or like those caskets the zombies had? Idk some funny reason that I am not funny enough to think of

And the van he created is pretty smart and was able to brought him back to his original dimension but he's already Crazy Dave.....

And what he said that he created the time travelling van so he could get his taco is somewhat true because he did leave his taco behind the first time he dimensioned travel

Ok so besides that, that's where Plants vs Zombies basically start out then

Oh and more, the minigames one

Dave created those minigames as to see how strong and effective the plants are and for strategic planning of planting plants when he has limited plant seeds and sun (hence those minigames where theres like only limited plants to choose from because it only gives you random plants???)

And also even made zombies but less dumber and easier to control for research on how the zombies on the other side works and how the zombies could win (hence the minigame where your the zombie one)

And that's basically all
