So post cannon sokka goes to ask his dad to please talk him out of commuting a felony.

Sokka: hey dad can I talk to u about smthn?

Hakoda: ofc son! What’s wrong?

Sokka: well.... I know Ozai is all locked up and doing anything to him would possibly re-start the war.... but also I really wanna hurt and/or kill him

Hakoda: Sokka, I understand why you’d have a grudge after all he’s done, especially since he’s the reason Kya died, but-

Sokka: what? That’s not what I’m upset about

Hakoda: your.... not?

Sokka: well, no I very much am. But that’s not why I’m struggling to hold myself back

Hakoda: then what is?

Sokka: ....

Sokka: u know that scar that zuko has?

Hakoda: the one on his face? Yes?

Sokka: his dad gave that to him

Hakoda: .....

Hakoda: like in a training accident?

Sokka: like as a punishment for speaking out of turn during a war meeting

Like. Poor Sokka has to keep pretending to be against murdering Ozai bc somehow he’s the only member of his family with self control?? Like this is the fourth time this has happened where he went to ask someone to talk him out of committing murder and ended up having to stop them from committing murder

(The first three were Katara, Suki, and Toph in order. He asked Bato after Hakoda and had to prevent a fifth murder)

(Zuko gave him permission to talk about it but is very confused as to why everyone is so upset??)

Its funny when I push dadkoda and zuko fluff supremacy online and I get responses like: That would never happen in canon!!! 😡

My brother in christ. My favourite ship is Zukka. Tf makes you think I'm interested in canon accuracy when looking for fluffy fics?
