Up past my bedtime again.

I don’t even know what time is anymore.

Feels like I’m sleeping when I’m awake.

Daydreaming the day away.

Time flies and I forget my name.

Talking to myself in my sleep,

Inside my make believe world.

Living at night but sleeping in the day.

I don’t know what time is.

Secret Crush. 

I have a crush,

But you don’t know who I am.

We barely know one another,

I’ll look at you,

And you’ll look at me.

You see through me,

I’m invisible.

I have countless dreams,

Daydreaming the day away.

Inside my head,

I know you like the back of my hand.

But let’s face it,

We’re between two parallel life’s,

That’ll never meet.

We'll stand side by side,

A million miles away.

Never meeting,

Teardrops

Sun kissed teardrops,

Fall from up above.

Lavender sunlight,

Shimmers through the door.

I’ve seen you here before,

Haven’t I?

In heaven’s moon light,

Your glow has been seen a thousand nights in a row.

As you travel light years away,

You’ve seen many days.

Yet, you’re here,

In the hevanly moon lit sky.

As tomorrow wakes,

Caught in the grass are fresh dewdrops.

Melting away,

In a summer haze.

No time to dream the day away,

As I sit here and cry.

Take me through time,

Beyond the Milky Way.

Only then, will you see,

Left are no teardrops.

Upon the Horizon.

The crow gazes upon the horizon,

Levitating high with open wings.

Children of the goldfinch sing,

Scurrying to mother’s nest.

Forgotten the way,

No time to play.

The watcher has told us to run,

The vulture is upon us.

Fleeting in a fuss,

Time to find home over the horizon.

I want to fly.

I can’t remember what it’s like,

What it’s like to touch the ground,

To feel held,

I’m lost in cotton candy skies,

I need help,

To bring me back from this lost and insane tight timed mind.

Hopes & Dreams

Talking to myself again

Only friend that I know

Time passes by

And I’ve forgotten how to speak to others

I don’t remember who I am or who I was

All that I know is that I’m here in the now

Completely unhinged from my mental state of mind

I need to climb to the top

Maybe then I can finally breathe

A breath of fresh air into my lungs

Perhaps then I could relax

And find myself again

Perhaps I’d be a person with hopes and dreams
