Are not the same drone. Pilot J is dead. This is a new J, complete with (what I'm assuming is) a restored memory from the previous J.

None of the Disassembly Drones are the first of their own self. There's been multiple iterations of each.

There’s no such thing as work-life balance for neurodivergent & chronically ill people.

This is because everything in my life requires work:

maintaining friendships

keeping up with my hygiene

managing bills

making money

remembering my basic needs

sleeping regularly

outputting creatively

All requires some aspect of work for me.

And when everything in your life requires work, your balance goes out the window.

If you're neurodivergent and overwhelmed — I see you.

If you're chronically ill and overwhelmed — I see you.

You're not dysfunctional.

You're not incapable.

You're doing your best.

reading over some of my better WIPS and thinking “damn. I sure am good at writing. if only I was good at finishing what I wrote 💀”

Whumpee's that are taken from nothing and given everything. A peasant snatched from the streets and stolen away to the king's palace. Their tattered rags traded for the finest silks, the rumble in their belly is replaced with warmth - now they dine on luxuries and delicacies they could only dream of.

Even if there are wine-dark bruises hidden beneath their clothing..even if the food doesn't sit right in Whumpee's stomach and the fear each new day brings threatens to bring their food back up...

Does the luxury make up for the suffering they endure at Whumpers hands?
