Watching She Hulk to see happy Matt rn
I didn't really like the Kingpin storyline. I don't know why, but I didn't. Anyways, Nobu stan.
I had the same issue with Daredevil. Too much gore and grime, and intense. But maybe I watched Elementary and got desensitized to tv death, my mental health improved, maybe I like the Punisher too much, or Kingpin bothers me, or the show genuinely stopped being as gory, but I didn't have the problems with the second season 🤷
I love how the fandom was worried that “She-Hulk” would turn Matt into a joke or make him less cool, but in the actual episode:
1) He beat Jen in court. In fact, aside from being late, I thought he came off as a better lawyer here than in his own show.
2) Portrayed as one of the smoothest studs in the whole MCU.
3) Dominated the fights with the goons.
4) Jen didn’t talk down to him or try to one-up him. She was just as enamored with Matt as the fandom is (and even got to fuck him lol).
5) The show actually made him even MORE badass by making him more acrobatic.
Honestly, if I hadn’t watched the Netflix show, I’d think this Daredevil guy was pretty cool and deserving of a spin-off.
