After the fire, Sundrop managed to save himself, but in the process his connection to Moon was lost, as well as the mechanism to switch to him. Now trapped and unable to hear his brother, he is saved by an aspiring student, Y/N (or rather you) who takes him home and reactivates him. Now under the roof of someone so kind and generous, Sun begins to wonder if an animatronic can convey feelings such as fear, sadness, happiness and love. And if so, will he be able to control this storm of feelings and emotions?

Aliens AU; in that au Sun and Moon would be aliens that are found by Y/N and hidden from the government trying to capture them.
Humans Young Adults AU; in this au Sun, Moon and the other SB characters are human in adulthood. Heavily focus on glittergolf and Moon x Y/N.
SAMS Second Lunar AU; in this cool AU Eclipse after learning about Lunar's death he decides to make his own Lunar, what happens? (anguish alert! TwT)

Assassins AU; this au is inspired on @ayyy-imma-ninja's Sereal Killer au. the difference is that in this au, Sun and Moon are part of an agency of assassins, and they also use everyday disguises (in this au animatronics/robots with advanced intelligence are considered equal to humans.) they are basically Hitmans, they can work in pairs but follow different criteria. Sun is just ok with killing people who mistreat children in every way, while Moon kills anyone other than children, teenagers, pregnant women or the elderly. in this AU Y/N is their neighbor who is the child of one of their clients, who were only asked to act as a bodyguard but at the same time not to reveal this to Y/N as they would not have a good relationship with the father.

Alien Au!
This is an au where Sun and Moon are both aliens from a distant galaxy. Both were in a space explanation and ended up falling to earth in an aria near Y/N's house. Y/N seeing that these two strange lifeforms were injured did their best to help and care for them, but after the crash landing, they must now hide the two aliens from the government that is looking for them.
And that's the basics of this AU.
Now for Sun and Moon, they are aliens known as Celestines, a species that creates form from celestial fragments present on their home planet. The two were born on the same day/night, Sun was born from a fragment of their planet's sun while Moon was born from a fragment of the moon. Moon contains more silvery and rocky undertones to his skin, and his hat isn't a hat, it's an organic limb (like a tail or tentacle).
Sun has skin which can change temperature between hot and cold, if he gets too excited he starts glowing brightly and burning, when angry he turns red and burning anything he touched, and when he feels sad the light gets dimmer and he gets faded colors. One thing is that if he feels weak, whether injured or sick, he starts to get weak light and if he isn't treated in time he gets cold, the colder the weaker he gets. If he is cold to the point of being freezing to touch, that would be the sign that he is dead.
Sun feeds on solar energy, while Moon feeds on lunar energy, but they can also feed in other ways. Sun is always UP to adapt the local food of the planets they visit. Now Moon wouldn't think twice about eating living beings if he prefers, in other words, if you piss him off he'll hunt you down and eat you while you try to scream for help. =)
Y/N basically has to take care of these two aliens who just won't sit still, and if you prefer, this can either result in a platonic or romantic relationship with the two alien brothers.

A Little Night Music AU
I’m still writing it, never fear, it’s just slow going. I have this habit of writing completely out of order—especially since this story is based in music, and my song fixations are fickle AF.
(Excerpt from a far-away chapter) We’re Talking Away:
Moon stared at your phone—but to your dismay, he didn’t move to take it. For a moment, you were afraid Sun had been wrong—that not even this kind of olive branch would work.
When he finally moved, you nearly jerked back. He paused. Watching you. Reading you. Moon touched down onto the carpet. Then, he touched the phone at last. And he scrolled. For the longest thirty seconds of your life.
When his hand slid from the device, you frowned at his selection. It was the track you’d been looping since your talk with Sun. He’d been listening.
“…You sure? You’re not bored of this one yet?”
His eyelights shuttered briefly. Then nothing. If you didn’t know any better, you could have mistaken him for an elaborate art installation; standing like a mannequin in the neon light. His stillness in these moments still unnerved you just enough. Which was likely their intention, regardless of the fragile bridges you were rebuilding.
He lifted a hand—the lack of bells nearly startling you; an unpleasant reminder of how you got to this point. But you didn’t flinch. You promised. You waited.
Moon’s faceplate rotated, slowly, the gears clicking mutely. And slowly, gently, his fingers touched the edge of your phone again.
Tap. Tap.
You huffed.
“You’re the boss.”
You hit play.
As the first wave of synth drums pulsed in your fingers, Moon lifted off the ground once more. He regarded you, ever silent—his eyelights glowing across your face. You searched for words. Something, anything, to keep this moment from ending—to delay Moon from taking off into the dark again.
And then he’s soaring. Twisted up in that cable like aerial silk, swinging, tinny laughter floating over the familiar synthesized music. Something in your chest unclenched. You couldn’t help a smile as he passed just a bit too close, brushing your shoulder, the point of his hat nearly hitting your chin. He twirled, hooking the wire around his foot, and swung by again. Like he’s remembering how to fly.
