Danny Phantom prompt Dead Name AU

So we all know how at first no one calls Danny, Phantom, in his ghost form right?

Well I was thinking what if there was a reason for Danny to get so mad over this besides just annoyance.

We all know that the ghosts don't use their actual names. Embers name isn't really ember, and skulkers name isn't really skulker etc.

Those are the names they choose for them selves and are clearly proud of their names, and when someone disregards the name they choose for them self it hurts on a personal ghost level. (you know how in fanfics they say asking a ghost how they died or what their obsession is, is really insulting and you could possibly die if you were asking any other ghost besides Danny? Yeah that kind of personal)

Now think about what that means for Danny! He choose the name Phantom for him self and for an entire season everyone disregarded the name he choose for himself.

It hurts him on a personal ghost level that everyone is just disregarding his chosen name and it hurts, so the next time hes fighting let's say ember he finally snaps when she calls him dipstick or something. He doesn't go full eldritch being on her but it's close.

"WILL YOU STOP CALLING ME THAT!! ITS PHANTOM! DANNY! PHANTOM! WHY DO NONE OF YOU RESPECT THAT, THAT IS MY NAME! NOT WELP, NOT GHOST CHILD, NOT GHOST BOY, NOT GHOST BRAT, NOT MENACE, NOT BABY POP, NOT DIPSTICK, NOT ANY OF THOSE!! AND NONE OF YOU SEEM TO FUCKING GET THAT!!"

That's when the ghost finally realize that they've basically been throwing racial slurs at a ghost toddler the entire time.

And afterwards I just love the thought of all the ghost (-walker cuz hes a dick and I can't see him playing nice) trying to make it up to Danny and Danny is super confused about the sudden change and is like o.O

When Danny ask them they all freak out cuz like "You don't know!! All ghost know this information when they become a ghost!! No one has taught you ghost culture and what it is to be a ghost??!!"

"Umm...No?"

Cue all the ghost contributing to teach Danny about ghost culture cuz he's a literally ghost toddler and he doesn't know anything??!!!!
