most degus, you give them enrichment toys & they're happy to have them. you give snufkin anything to chew & it's like handing design specs to an autistic contractor. you have given him A Task and by damn is he going to do it well. he will stand here until the discs are gone. he says to you "alright boss it'll be done in three days" and you say there isn't a deadline??? you weird little man no one is paying you??? and he can't hear you over the noise of the discs spinning. he is a reincarnated woodshop lathe. he will be doing this for the next hour. you will consider getting an amazon dash button for palm-sized discs of wood
