Something I love about Meatcanyon animations is of course the artistic quality and dedication to the bit, but my FAVORITE thing about Meatcanyon animations that people don’t talk about enough is how fucking hard the scriptwork also goes.

The parody premise will be something like ‘haha what if there was a FNaF game based on Markiplier’ and then in the middle of the absurdity of a monstrous YouTube let’s player calling you a silly cow and talking menacingly about dairy, the cartoon will drop absolute fire like “The crowd screams, and they scream for me! Glory comes at such a heavy price.” And the tone and voice acting will be just as anime-finale dead serious.

Like those damn videos are chuck full of more utterly raw dialogue and narratives than 80% of the things I’ve paid money and gone to a theater to see and yet they’re basically high effort shitposts made funnier by that fact. It’s like when you show someone that “do you think god stays in heaven because he too fears what he created” quote only for their reaction when you follow it up with the knowledge that it came from the SpyKids franchise.
