First page are teachers from the YouTube series, and Riley, while most of the second page is the teachers from the TV show, except the last two who are Sid characters from the YouTube series.

I’ve seen it pointed out a few times by a few different people that Warren apparently had purple hair so I draw this

I’ve drawn two dhmis characters as humans, so I thought that I might as well draw warren as a human as well. I’m pleased with how it came out :)

within the turbulent tides of my plague-hazed mind, he came to me, a beam of impossible brightness sent with ramen in his hand.

When I first saw this character I assumed just by the screenshots that he was a caricature of weirdo incel online guys but after watching the episode I’m going to be honest warren is such an interesting character, to me.

I rambled about this on twitter but uh here are my disorganized thoughts:

•as someone with autism the way he responds to insults by hysterically laughing it off and being like “oh if I was hurt I wouldn’t be laughing” someone please save this man

•I like the way it portrays social awkwardness in the form of a character who has never moved on and seems to think he is always the victim no matter what. And it’s SAD because he does seem to want friendship but his insecurity has utterly ruined that ability to Form meaningful connections. :(

•It’s really interesting to me how this episode portrays someone taking advantage of their friends and is like uh, showing how yes, people with social awkwardness need support and friendship but that doesn’t mean you can take advantage of people, that there are other unrelated and I have to emphasize UNRELATED Traits that someone needs to address in themselves and that they can’t just use and abuse the language of self care to hurt others?

•yellow guys brain friends accept warren and offer him support but he begins to abuse that friendship and they leave because they can see he’s taking advantage of them.

It’s really sad

•If I can speak from my own experience as someone who was bullied from elementary up until high school, for having autism. It for a while kind of conditioned me to think that any negative reactions to my actions was a result of ableism and not due to me having said something hurtful. THANKFULLY I grew out of that really quickly and now have a really healthy and kind group of supportive friends but warren to me is a horrifying vision of what if I had held on to the idea that I could never ever be in the wrong you know?

•I wasn’t expecting this episode to be so personal, to me. And I’m just really happy they did more with this character than what I thought they would going in.
