Some of you "tumblr doms" really believe that tumblr is a dating site and that subs should be begging to have a mediocre conversation with you.

Aftercare for doms

In an attempt to educate people better on proper aftercare welcome to this 3 part series, this is part 2!

What is aftercare?

Aftercare is what comes after sex or a scene, depending on what has just happened and how both parties feel depends on what aftercare is given. Acts such as cuddling, massage, applying cream to bruises, taking a bath, eating food and words of praise are all considered acts of aftercare. No matter who you are or who you define as, everyone deserves and should be given aftercare.

What is aftercare for the dom specifically?

If you define as the dom most scenes may not affect you as much physically but this doesn’t mean it wont because it can. Same with emotionally, Dom’s can be affected too and doms should also get aftercare. Whether that be holding them, telling them they did a good job or other forms of aftercare, don’t ignore your doms feelings. After the sub has been taken care of, the sub should then in return ask how the dom feels.
