Hi friends with multimuse blogs! This is one of your friends with a single muse blog. I won’t pretend to speak for the entire community, but I’d like to take a moment to address something I know a lot of you are struggling with.
It can be frustrating, annoying, even anxiety-inducing when you receive interest on your blog without specification of which of your muses it’s intended for. That sucks. I can sympathize. I feel awkward and anxious when presented with your catalogue of muses! I worry sometimes that you were secretly hoping I’d pick a muse and get upset when I pick wrong, or you don’t want to write that muse against mine and now you’re bothered by my presence, or any number of other similar scenarios!
I don’t know if there’s a solution to this outside of OOC communication, or if interest trackers even work, or who should tell who about the interactions they’d like to see first, but I wanted you to know that I’m not trying to be rude when I ask for interaction without specifying. I’m not trying to make it seem like your rules or your boundaries don’t matter, I’m not intending to make our writing lopsided, and I want very badly to interact! I just don’t know who I’m allowed to ask for, who you would be upset if I asked or didn’t ask for, who vibes with a particular meme or who doesn’t.

People of tumblr, I genuinely think I do my best artwork when:
Heartbroken, running a fever, not having gotten out of bed for 24 hours, ignoring DMs from my friends, deleting emails from my teachers, and trapped in a mental hell of my own creation.
Like sure, it's all done in a red ballpoint pen and looks like something straight out of a nightmare, but the proportions are good and I actually manage to have an artstyle. Plus, I can draw eyes! How cool is that!?
