He's hiding for an entirely different reason
Just had some ranchers thoughts. We have assumed that the whole “It’s over, go home” thing was Tango taking to Jimmy or vise versa, but what if Tango is truly talking to the viewer? The thing about the ranchers, is they just had double life. All the other pairings had been together before or stayed connected afterwords. For better or for worse, they got a second or even third chance. But the ranchers… only had one. They only had that one chance to make their mark and be in each other’s company. It is truly over. So why are we still here? Why are we, the viewers, still waiting for something that isn’t going to come? Tango is telling us to leave this behind, to let the ranchers leave this behind, because all those other chances just drown themselves out. It’s just another chance to fail.
So why can’t we go home and let them have their happy ending?
Or as happy as these endings get at least.
think it’s cool how tango and Scott the two people who jimmy are most frequently paired with have heavy associations with the elements of fire and ice because characters with power over those elements are often opposites in temperament and personality which is the case for them as well so the fact that jimmy is close with both of them I think says something about jimmy
So my idea for The guide Jimmy is that all the one that summons him has to do is tell him where they need to go or what they need to find and then he will enter a trance and slowly make his way straight towards it and he will not stop
That is the hard part they have to not lose track of him and keep any mobs or traps from getting to him because he won’t be able to move out of the way and they have to be patient with him because he moves at an agonizingly slow pace even if something is chasing them and they can’t wake him because if they disturb him to much he’ll snap out of the trance and he’s only able to do it once per summoner
Also if anyone gets frustrated enough and starts yelling at Jimmy to move faster or insults him they get a penalty it’s not a game over but it’s a warning
It’s an annoying escort mission for the summoner but to us its something else entirely
Idk if you do art requests at all or whatever this is but what do you think Jimmy would wear if he lived in the Citadel? (Or whatever Tangos mega(?) Base was called)
Perhaps, sometimes, you can find a special card that summons the Dungeon Guide, who makes navigating a bit easier and more pleasant. Just don't let him die or your clank will max out and all doors will close.

So I wanted to try and do this to make me relax a little :)
