Draw Everyday - Tumblr Posts - Page 2

26/100 so today my important experience was dogwood jam (I didn’t even know this tree existed) — sweet and sour, so tasty that I decided to draw it immediately
it’s 3materialsdrawingchallenge hosted by @/naomitippingillustrator, @/charlotte.durance and @/kathryn_boyt. the point of this challenge is to draw every day for a 100 days from life using just 3 materials and for no more than 30 minutes.
materials: a light pink (?) pastel pencil by Derwent, a blue Neocolor and green acrylic paint. The sketchbook page was prepped with watercolor.

33/100 feeling like an O. Henry’s character from The Last Leaf — lying in bed every day and watching the trees outside, watching the doves kiss and just staring at the ficus — even it has got a life beyond the bed

37/100 rely on mountains var 1, var 2
it wasn’t so bad when there were only 3 materials, but I couldn’t resist myself and added some contrast, so there are four: a yellow green Copic, a violet blue Copic, a blue Neocolor and a blue oil pastel by Sennelier. the ‘squares’ were prepped with children’s felt pen.

43/100 rewatched Toy story (and also was inspired by @/lacey.sarah’s toy drawings) — drew some toys to let them free! the rubber ducky turned out to be a little drunk, while the tomato kitchen timer’s a bit disproportionate (but still lovely the way it is) and Yoshi is just being adorable as always in his racing car
materials: blue Neocolor + light greenish yellow Neocolor + red children’s felt tip pen
