Sneak-peak! Been working on this 1:32 scale (if i remember right) utharaptor sculpt the past few weeks when i've not been working or moving to my new flat. "Wings" need work, and then there's only the tail fan and texture details left to go! It's a very chunky bird this one! The last day of summer is devoted to July's work. I think my drawing skill has grown during the whole month of continuous drawing.
All the dinosaur names are in order in the hashtags.

drowsura are fictional dromaeosaurids in my setting! this is not a real animal/reconstruction.

well, i guess now it is time for my first art post! at first it was nothing more than a simple sketch but i really liked the look of it so i kept going. i did the lines and coloring in ms paint and finished it up in clip studio paint. the background is a pic i took of bowling alley carpet, but edited, and i did two different versions. as i mentioned it was meant to only be a quick, silly doodle, so it’s different from my usual art style.
forgot to post this! concept for a character who is apart of a story i'm writing. her name is Yara and she's a utahraptor!

Some assorted theropods. In hindsight, I would’ve done the fronts of their mouths differently, but oh well, next time. Also, I’m running out of recent drawings, so I may need to actually draw stuff soon. Thankfully, this week of stress and running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off is almost over.
Completely forgot to post this, but here's the final painting of Dromaeosaurus I finished back in June from my project "Colours of the Lost World: Reconstructing Cretaceous Alberta".
ooor you can just call it my Cretaceous Alberta project. I'm basically just making a pile of random art of Alberta (canada) 's paleofauna and flora
I'll probably post up my process pretty soon, so keep an eye out for that if you're interested :)
this was also a project I started within last years art class, so I'll post the rest of the year-end art show display pieces I made for this project :) as I live so close and Alberta's dinosaurs are one of my most common subjects, I'll definitely be continuing this series. let me know what you'd like to see next, either in the comments or my asks!
