Percy Moon is an archivist who used to be friends with Maxwell. Percy is in his early to late thirties, and he is an expert dark and mystical arts. When he was in his late teens to early twenties, he gave Maxwell the Codex Umbra. They haven’t spoken to each other ever since Maxwell became a famous magician.

Years later, in the museum where Percy works, Percy was working late. Percy was analyzing a knife a friend of his sent to him. While analyzing, he cut his hand by accident. He bandaged his hand when he hears a voice, asking him if he wants to see a old friend again and to experience a whole new world. And Percy says yes.

Percy gets transported to a new world and gets reunited with Maxwell, and meets the other survivors. And the adventure begins.
