So I just sat down to watch the first couple episodes of Earthspark-

HOLY SHIT ITS AMAZING

I love the style!!!! The vibe is so light-hearted and fun compared to some more darker tones I've watched (As much as I love them). Its so refreshing!

The characters are sweet and I love the family dynamic that's depicted between the humans and their bots.

The plot itself seems to be pretty interesting, and while I'm not used to it, I do enjoy it. It's new and pretty creative from what I've seen so far.

The animation and the artstyle is FUCKING FANTASTIC!!!! I love the 3D and 2D mix, everything is so saturated and bright! It makes me want to eat every frame!

Optimus and Megatron are so amazing and I LOVE ELITA SO MUCH OMG SHE'S SO BABY-GIRL!!!!! Twitch and Thrash are pretty cool too. Besides kind of rushing some parts in the beginning with Twitch and Thrash's "awakening" (If that's what you wanna call it?) scene, and some tone problems and poorly timed jokes here and there, I honestly love it!

Its a new flavor of Transformers that compared to all the media I've consumed (IDW's MTMTE and Lost Light series, TF: Prime, the live action movies, and TFA) feels fresh and fits like a perfect comfort show.

I can see how some people wouldn't like it, but I've seen so much hate for Earthspark and it honestly kind of pushed me into not really wanting to watch the show, but I'm impressed for all the shit I've seen people complain about.

I'll reblog with more things I want to say later on in the series, but for now I'm honestly very impressed and excited to continue watching it! (Also should I tag this post for Earthspark Spoilers?)
