VOTE! If you've been watching the crap that immature, arrogant and childish Republicans have devolved too then you know how to vote. Make sure you are registered, if you have mail-in ballots find your nearest, safest drop box is located. Check time frames and locations if you vote in person. Verify your choices before submitting your forms. If you are in-line stay until you vote. If you are still in line after hours, stay there, they have to let you vote. Watch/read carefully they have misleading language in some ballot measures.

Local elections are important

It’s Voting Day in most of the US! School Board and other local positions are always important. But this year they could determine life-and-death things. Just this past year, our local School Boards have decided:

- whether transgender students are allowed to be athletes on teams that affirm their gender,

- whether kids wear masks in schools (and therefore the safety of children, their elderly relatives, and cafeteria workers and teachers and bus drivers and the wider community),

- whether students get accurate information about history, books that reflect their faces and stories, and teachers with training in equity and inclusion.

Life-saving stuff here. One vote also has the potential to make a much bigger difference on the local level. Please, if you can, vote!
