~ My Thoughts on Writing Matt/Chris Sturniolo x Male!Reader 💭
The reason why writing Matt/Chris x Male!Reader is weird and ignorant is because they are real people. That’s literally the most simple and sensible reason. If they were TV, film, or video-game characters (FICTIONAL characters), then of course you could write about them in gay relationships, obviously.
Nick is literally gay. If you want to write a Sturniolo x Male!Reader romantic story so badly, then write romantic/sexual stories with Nick! He doesn’t have as many stories as Matt and Chris on here anyway, so it would be so beneficial to fans of Nick who would like to read stories of him like that, especially for fans who identify as male and would like to see themselves represented since the male fans in their fandom don’t get enough representation or recognition either.
Do people a solid and just… be respectful. 😭 Even if this is fanfiction and even of they’re most likely never reading this, it’s just a sign of respect for people and their identities. That’s all 😭🤍✨
