The silence of the house was abruptly broken by a cry that echoed through every corner. It was a sound you recognized instantly, a heart-wrenching feeling that never failed to make your chest tighten. Those cries belonged to your child.
As you stood at the sink, sleeves rolled up, scrubbing away residues of dinner from the white porcelain plates – the very ones Ellie had lovingly chosen for you – memories flooded your mind. Each sponge stroke brought back moments shared with Ellie, her attention to detail in every aspect of your life together.
The kitchen, once a place of laughter and shared meals, now felt empty. The soft glow of the overhead light cast shadows across the room, emphasizing the solitude that enveloped you. How you longed for Ellie's presence, her warmth filling the space with love and comfort.
Yet, she wasn't physically absent.
She simply wasn't present.
"Go check on him," ellie muttered rudely, not even looking in your direction.
"Already on it," you replied, setting the plate down and drying your hands on a nearby cloth.
Making your way upstairs, the cries of your child grew louder as you approached his door. Your heart ached as you recognized them all too well. Taking a deep breath, you knocked and opened the door.
Before you could utter a word, he began pouring out his troubles. He knew it was you even before the door opened, aware that you were the only one who came to check on him. His other mom…hadn't done so in a long time.
He was sobbing into his teddy bear, his red and puffy eyes avoiding your gaze.
"Why is my mommy like that?" he asked, tears staining his teddy bear. "Why is she not playing with me? Does she not love me anymore?"
Closing the door gently behind you, you settled on his bed. His voice choked with emotion, he questioned why his mother seemed distant.
"Oh honey, she loves you.” you tried soothing by rubbing his back, “she’s just… been busy, but soon enough, she'll play with you again, okay? I'll talk to her.." you assured, pulling him into your arms.
"Promise?" This time he raised his head to look at you with those wet eyes. You'd been playing the mother role for the past half a year now. How many times had you made that promise to him?
"Pinky promise," you affirmed, feeling the weight of your words as you made yet another pledge to ease his worries.
"Thank you mama.." He smiled weakly, clinging to you with a sense of reassurance.
A voice in the background called your name – Ellie.
Abruptly, the heavy thuds of footsteps echoed up the stairs, her sharp voice vibrating through the silence of the hallway.
"What are you doing?!" she snapped, her tone laced with irritation as she barged into the room, a cigarette dangling from her fingers.
"What the fuck are you staring at?" Ellie snarked, her words cutting through the air. Her cold glare pierced through you. "Kid, go somewhere else."
As Ellie's coldness unfolded, you began to bite the inside of your cheek, a surge of anger towards her lack of empathy. The lack of interest she showed towards everyone's feelings aggravated you, you were growing exhausted.
"Stop it.” you intervened, hoping to convey to Ellie the need for a gentler approach toward the child. As expected, Ellie brushed off your attempt, a complete disregard for how her words affected the child.
"I said fucking go!" Ellie yelled.
Your child, tears swelling, quickly left the room, the echoes of his sniffles fading behind him. Dammit, Ellie...
You shoot her a glare filled with frustration, immediately getting up to exit the room. However, Ellie quickly grabbed your arm, her grip tight and nails digging into your flesh, causing you to wince and forcefully move toward her.
"Where the fuck are you going?" she snarled.
"Argh- Ellie, I'm not.. dealing with you right now-" you remarked..
Ellie tugged your arm harshly, her stare growing more aggravated. The scent of cigarettes lingering, the scent so familiar that you had become numb to it. This was the only time Ellie would even attempt to touch you, always using it to assert her control. In all other instances, you existed as nothing, always unnoticed.
“You don’t get to decide that.” She released your arm, shutting the door firmly and positioning herself in front of it to ensure you couldn't leave. Taking another drag from her cigarette, she exhaled the smoke.
Maintaining your glare, you scoffed and went to open the window, refusing to let the smell of cigarettes fill your child's room.
"What the fuckk are you doing?" Ellie asked, displaying no intention of stopping you, her annoyance being clear. She didn't bother pretending.
“What does it fucking look like?” you snapped, not bothering to turn and face her. You hated it when she tried irritating you.
Instead, your focus drifted toward the view outside the window. The sun was setting, painting the sky with hues of warm gold and soft pink, casting a gentle glow. The fields surrounding the farmhouse with lively flowers, their petals swaying in the evening breeze.
The farmhouse itself stood as a sturdy, its walls covered with trailing vines of ivy. In the distance, you could hear the faint sound of cows softly in the fields.
Ellie remained silent, simply taking another prolonged drag of her cigarette. She didn't spare the time to respond to your snarky remarks.
“..he wanted to play with you today,” you mentioned, leaning your head against the window, fidgeting with the sleeves of your shirt. “He thinks you don’t love him.”
It had become routine for Ellie to try and get any information about what your kid shared. His troubles and worries seemed to be a curiosity for her. You never questioned it, always holding onto the hope that, in some part of her, she still truly cared.
"So?" she replied nonchalantly, walking over to you and flicking her cigarette out the window. "What's one of his little feelings to me? He's too attached anyway. It'd be good for him if I ignored him for a while."
Ellie's gaze drifted toward the window, her eyes captivated by the familiar view. The golden glow over the farmstead, a sight she had always cherished. It was one of the main reasons she had chosen this farmhouse for her family to live in.
You gazed at Ellie, taking in her features. Her heavy bags from the countless sleepless nights on the couch, her once-soft pink lips now only meeting the cold bottles of alcohol she consumed in the dead of night.
“He’s not the only one who feels that way..” You remarked, still staring at her, hoping that her emerald eyes would meet yours.
Ellie's heart sank, a flicker of emotion appearing on her face.
"Shut up," she muttered coldly. She didn't bother turning to look at you; your words had clearly affected her.
"I don't want to hear you talk. I'll do whatever I want. If I don't feel like playing with him, then I fucking won't."
She stormed off, and the moment of silence shattered. Her heavy footsteps descended the stairs.
Without a moment's hesitation, you rushed out of your son's room, your only focus being to find him. You swiftly walked down the hallway, your pace quickening. Leaving him alone, particularly when upset, was something you hated. As you walked down the hallway…
There he was.
In the bathroom, seated on the black and white tiled floor, clutching his teddy bear, with his face buried into his knees and headphones covering his ears.
He didn't want to witness his mothers arguing. He understood that whenever Ellie interrupted your time together, it signaled something bad.
You observed him from the doorway painfully knowing that he didn't deserve this, enduring the harsh environment that the house had become. It pained your heart to see that he had developed coping mechanisms for these moments.
He glanced up at you, his eyes red from crying.
You gave him a soft smile, walking over and lifting him into your arms, gently wiping away the tears from his face. “I’m sorry honey, mommy needed to tell me something-”
“I know,” he said softly, nuzzling his face into your neck. He already knew all your apologies.
You kissed the top of his head, tenderly stroking his hair and swaying side to side. Your mind raced, searching for ways to lift his spirits and make up for Ellie's behavior.
“Hey, why don’t we-”
"Mama... I’m tired," he interrupted, his gaze staring off as if he was drifting from this moment. It wasn’t just physical fatigue; he was tired of it all, exhausted from feeling this way.
You nodded gently. “Okay, let’s head to bed then…”
You walked over to the sink, sitting him on the nearby stool where you usually did to brush his little teeth. The tap gushed water as you applied toothpaste to his green toothbrush covered in tiny dinosaurs, a choice Ellie had insisted upon a while back. You remember her begs of "pleaseee!!" throughout the shopping trip.
With the toothbrush in hand, you gently brushed his teeth, being careful not to hurt his sensitive gums.
“Okay, now you can spit.”
Ptui!
“All clean, mama!” he exclaimed excitedly, clapping his hands together and flashing you his newly cleaned smile.
You leaned down, planting a kiss on the top of his head. “Good job, honey!”
He carefully climbed down from the stool, making his way towards your bedroom. Sleeping with you always made him feel safe, and he eagerly headed for the bed, emitting little grunts of tiredness along the way.
Finally settling onto the bed, he lay down next to his teddy bear, giving it a small pat.
“Mama will join you after she’s done cleaning, okay?” you assured him, tucking him into his space-themed blanket. The blanket, a dark blue adorned with various planets and stars, was one of his favorites.
It was a gift from from grandpa Joel, who had been thrilled to learn about your and Ellie's news of starting a family. He couldn't contain his excitement, bombarding Ellie with endless parenting tips and even purchasing books on child development in preparation.
Joel never got to meet him.
“Okay...” he said softly, turning away as you walked towards the door. You stared at his back, an ache overwhelming your thoughts, and all you could think about was saying, "I’m sorry." Though you knew you weren’t responsible for Ellie's behavior, you felt like you owed it to him.
You and Ellie were eagerly excited on the journey to adopt a child together, ready to try again. Jackson had many kids in need of a loving home. When you adopted your kid, you promised him a life filled with love and joy, but that promise crumbled far too quickly.
You stepped out of the room and closed the door behind you.
Heading downstairs, you found Ellie sitting on the couch, smoking a joint and watching Breaking Bad, an episode she had already seen twice.
Resuming your routine, you began cleaning up the kitchen. Drying dishes, sweeping the floor, and wiping the countertops. All tasks you were now accustomed to doing alone.
Ellie gradually stopped helping, a gradual drift. The same snarky excuses: “I’m too fucking tired” or “I have some work to finish up.” Eventually, she left you alone in the silent kitchen, where everything felt still.
“Goodnight,” you said, looking towards Ellie as you headed towards the stairs.
Silence.
Ellie remained motionless on the couch, smoking her joint and staring blankly at the TV. Her eyes were fixed on the screen, trying to detach herself from the world.
You took a deep breath, attempting to control your emotions and suppress the ache that surfaced every time she responded with silence. Placing your foot on the first step, you began to ascend the stairs.
"C'mere,” Ellie said, actually looking at you for once.
Your heart raced at her sudden attention, her piercing gaze catching you off guard. You walked over to her, standing in front of her. Up close, you couldn't ignore the mess she appeared to be. Her eyes were puffy and red, a foolish smirk plastered across her face.
“c’meree..” she said, motioning you to come closer.
Ellie brought the joint to her lips, taking a long drag before blowing the smoke right into your face, giggling at how it was causing you to cough.
She started laughing, “you look stupid.”
Irritated, you smacked the joint out of her hand. Causing ellie to jolt at the sudden movement.
“Be fucking stupid and pick it up,” you snarled, glaring at her, your eyes piercing through her.
Ellie simply looked at you, no words, no movement, her gaze fixated on you. You couldn’t decipher the emotion behind her gaze there were thoughts behind those eyes, but you couldn’t recognize them.
Scoffing, you turned away, no longer wanting to be near her. Heading upstairs, you headed straight for the bathroom. Closing the door behind you, you looked at yourself in the mirror. Tears welled up, but you refused to let them fall. I need to be strong..she can’t..can’t win…
You couldn't help but feel stupid. Stupid for thinking she would offer you even a shred of affection. Her undivided attention, a drop of care.
Turning on the faucet, you splashed water on your face, feeling its cool touch soothe your heated skin. It was as if the water washed away the tension, calming your mind. Each droplet felt like a weight lifted off your shoulders, easing the ache you carried.
Taking a deep sigh, you began your nightly routine, another task you were accustomed to doing alone.
Slowly opening the door to your bedroom, you found your child fast asleep, clutching his teddy bear tightly in his arms and cocooned in his blanket. His gentle breaths filled the room with a sense of tranquility, a small smile gracing his lips as he slept peacefully.
In that moment, he appeared like a peaceful, angelic child, as if he were innocent and free from life's worries.
Closing the door behind you, you approached the bed, gently laying beside him, fingers caressing his soft hair, humming a melody –a melody Ellie used to sing to you back then. Never missing a chance to soothe you with her singing whenever you couldn’t sleep.
He appeared so innocent, carrying that light within him. The idea of him being exposed to Ellie's behavior filled you with guilt. He was the reason you tolerated Ellie, not demanding for more.
You had an urge to fight for his safety and his right to happiness. All he deserved was love and affection, and ellie failed to provide it.
Pressing a kiss to his forehead, you closed your eyes, letting sleep envelop you as you tried to quiet the endless thoughts swirling in your mind.
Thud.
Sometime later in the night, you heard Ellie stumbling her way up the stairs. Her movements were unsteady, the effects of alcohol. It seemed like she hadn't slept at all. The only evidence of her rest was the blanket and pillow on the couch.
You heard the sound of ellie turning the doorknob and entering the room, not bothering to turn on the lights. The room filled with the sound of Ellie rummaging through drawers and opening closets. You had no idea what she was looking for, but she appeared determined to find it.
You tried to catch a glimpse of Ellie in the darkened room. Your eyes adjusted, and you could make out the outline of her figure as she searched. She stood there in a tank top and boxers, her arms revealing prominent veins, and her hair ruffled messily around her face.
“El’s?..”
Startled, she jumped and stopped her search, clearly taken aback by the sudden sound of your voice. She turned around with a scowl, not bothering to whisper back.
“What?” she snapped, clearly annoyed.
"What're you… doing?" you asked sleepily, being awoken by her rummaging.
"Nothing," Ellie replied with a heavy sigh "Go back to sleep."
You looked into her eyes, your eyes glistening in the gentle moonlight.
Ellie was startled for a moment at the sight of the eyes that met her. But snapped herself back into reality.
"Don't… give me that look," she muttered before turning around and going back to rummaging through the drawers.
You gently extended your hand towards Ellie, wanting her to sleep with you. Your fingers moved slowly, reaching out for hers.
She paused, her shoulders rising and falling as she took a sharp inhale of air. She sighed and then looked at you. She didn't pull away from your touch, her demeanor appearing softer as if she was trying to resist you.
"No,"
You stayed silent at her response, silently hoping for her to change her answer.
"I said No. Go… back to sleep." She tried to say firmly but her tone was softer now.
You turned away from Ellie, silently acknowledging her rejection. Each time your attempts were turned down, the familiar ache grew duller, as if numbed. You wrapped your arm around your child, closing your eyes in an attempt to drift back into sleep.
Your child's peaceful breathing filled the room, a comforting reminder of his presence. Though still awake, you could hear Ellie's silent breaths nearby. She lingered by the bed, her presence still even in the darkness. It felt as if she was trying to find a way to be near you without you knowing.
You resembled an angel in the soft moonlight, your skin radiant. Ellie couldn't help but admire you, considering you the most beautiful sight she had ever seen—as if you were kissed by the moon.
The night was warm, the gentle wind gentle and comforting. In this moment, you hoped to never wake up.
Your soft hair laid on the pillow like soft and silky thread. Your gentle breathing was soothing. Your body looked like a painting created by heaven itself. You were its beautiful muse and the moon was the painter showing its admiration.
Ellie couldn't help but gaze at you, her eyes lingering on your lips for a moment longer than usual. She then looked down at your child, peacefully nestled with you For an instant, a longing for love stirred within her, a feeling she hadn't experienced in a very long time. It reminded her of the days when you both were deeply in love.
Your body was so peaceful, ellie found herself entranced, her eyes tracing every curve and line. Ellie felt an overwhelming desire to simply…admire you, to preserve your presence.
Without a second thought, Ellie found herself slowly lying down beside you, her body acting with impulse. The comfort of the bed and the softness of the cotton sheets gave her a warmth that she had long forgotten.
She pressed her body as close as she could get it against yours. Her hands folded under her chin, as if she was too afraid to touch you.
She found herself lost, aching for a connection she feared to ignite.

As the moon began to set, making way for the rising sun, the room was bathed in morning sunlight. While you still slept, the sun cast its gentle glow upon you, illuminating you among the blossoming morning.
The sunlight kissed your skin and hair, as if your very being radiated the warmth of the sun itself. The soft morning light painted the room with a sense of home.
Your child stirred in his sleep, wrapped in his blanket with his teddy bear in hand. The sunlight caressed his face as he shifted, illuminating him.
The entire room had a calming and comforting feeling, it was the most peaceful it had ever been.
It was a picture-perfect morning.
Ellie's breath tickled your neck, a subtle reminder that she was still there, lying behind you.
Your eyes widened in disbelief.
No…fucking…way.
Your body stiffened as a rush of disbelief washed over you. Ellie, sleeping right behind you—it felt surreal, impossible! Your mind raced with countless thoughts, your heart pounding in your chest. There was no comfort in this moment, only pure confusion.
How could this be happening?! How could she be lying in bed alongside you, after so long? It didn't make sense, it couldn't be real. Your mind refused to accept it, unable to comprehend the sudden shift in her behavior.
As your heart threatened to burst from your chest, your vision blurred and your hands trembled uncontrollably. You needed to escape.
You slowly shifted, your arms trembling as you pushed yourself up, careful not to disturb your sleeping child or Ellie. He remained peacefully asleep, his blanket shifting gently with his movements. Despite your efforts, dizziness crept in, making you feel unsteady.
Struggling to maintain your balance, you reached the edge of the bed, managing to rise and quickly make your way towards the bathroom, the soft pitter-patter of your feet echoing behind you.
Your legs weakened, trembling violently as you sank to your knees. Resting your head against the cool surface of the white bathroom door, you clenched your stomach, gripping onto your sides. Rocking back and forth, you struggled to calm the nauseating sensation overwhelming you.
"please...please...please.." you whispered to yourself, desperately praying for the nauseous feeling to leave.
The room felt immensely hot, the walls closing in as you struggled with the overwhelming sensation. Your eyes frantically scanned the bathroom, seeking something to keep your focus on.
Nausea gripped you, forcing you to rush towards the toilet. The memory of Ellie's body pressed against yours flooded your thoughts—the warmth, the softness of her skin against yours, a sensation you had longed for. Your lips quivered, your hand instinctively reaching for your forehead as the nausea intensified.
"no, no, no!...please," you pleaded, hovering over the toilet, ready to give in to the impending urge to gag.
She was in bed with you and your son—an elusive fantasy you had desperately wished for, now turned into a disorienting reality.
Tears began to fall, falling down your cheeks like flowing streams. You bit your lip, attempting to stifle the cries and hiccups. Your body trembled against the cool bathroom floor, your nose running uncontrollably.
Then, without warning, the nausea overcame you entirely.
Blegh!
You leaned over the toilet, retching as the sounds reverberated throughout the bathroom. Each gag felt like a release. The bitter taste filled your mouth, a reminder of the chaos siring in your gut.
Her presence, once a distant dream, was now a reality pressed against yours, and yet...
You couldn't help but feel revolted.
With shaky hands, you stopped throwing up and rose from the toilet, the echoes of your whimpers and cries still ringing in the air. Tears streamed down your face, each droplet releasing the emotions raging inside you.
Your steps stumbling as you made your way to the sink, the sound of rushing water filling the bathroom. With trembling fingers, you turned on the faucet, allowing the water to flow freely. Cupping your hands, you gathered it and splashed it onto your tear-streaked face, desperate to cleanse away the discomfort and disgust.
───
After cleaning yourself up, you walked downstairs, taking deep breaths between every step to soothe yourself. The chaos of feelings stirred within you, but you refused to let them control the entire day.
Now in the kitchen, you headed straight to the stove, turning it on. Concentration fueled your movements as you prepared breakfast, the rhythmic sounds of sizzling pancakes and bacon filling the air. Your hands moved with practiced ease, flipping pancakes and stirring ingredients.
As you cooked, the pancakes took shape—round, fluffy, just the way your kid loved them.
The sun cast warm rays, creating a gentle glow in the kitchen as the aroma of breakfast filled the entire house. It felt like you had fallen back into a fantasy, a moment of normalcy.
You walked over to open the window, craving to feel the outside breeze along your skin. The morning wind was gentle, it made you feel alive and warm, as if it was your first breath this morning. Your eyes lit up and your soul felt at peace.
───
Your kid's eyes squinted at the gentle sunlight, the warmth of his blanket clinging to his body. As he stirred and yawned, his eyes opened, and he smiled, stretching before turning his attention to you.
"Mama?.." he asked in a soft voice.
Realizing you weren't in bed beside him, his gaze shifted to find Ellie in your place.
Her chest rose and fell gently, her soft skin glowing in the sunlight. The sight of her was beautiful, this was the most peaceful he had seen her in forever.
His cheeks flushed with the sheer thrill of the moment. Grinning, he covered his mouth with his tiny hands, attempting to contain his excitement. Grabbing his blanket and teddy bear, he carefully slid off the bed, his hair messy from his sleep.
As he descended, he couldn't resist stealing glances back at Ellie, peacefully asleep on the edge of the bed, hands still cupped under her chin. His smile grew, an expression of pure happiness.
Thump.
The soft pitter-patter of his tiny feet reached the floor as he approached Ellie. Delicately, he extended his little hands, fingers entwined with strands of her auburn hair. Gently, he brushed the hair behind her ear, a gesture of tenderness he had never done before, a moment of connection with his mommy.
“There ya go mommy..” he whispered softly, careful not to disturb ellies sleep.
He wished for time to stand still. He wanted her to welcome his presence, his heart filled with a need for connection.
He pressed a gentle kiss on the back of her head.
Hurriedly walking away, the little pitter-patter of his feet trailing behind him, he left the room excitedly, a big smile plastered over his face. Quickly making his way downstairs, running to find you.
You already heard the loud thumping of his feet running across the house, a soft smile creeping onto your face. You knew he was happy, thrilled to have found Ellie in their bed. But as you listened to his joyful steps, a heavy weight settled in your chest, a sinking feeling that refused to lift. God...why couldn’t you feel it too..?
“Good morning, honey!” you greeted as he dashed towards you.
“Mama! Mama!” he exclaimed, wrapping his arms around your legs and looking up at you. “Mommy’s in bed!”
You smiled warmly, “Yes, she is,” lifting him into your arms. Your child yawned and giggled, nestling comfortably in your embrace as you carried him to his chair. Feeling the warmth of his body against yours. His soft, warm presence was love itself.
Your kid sat there, staring at the pancakes. Still sleepy and drowsy, he resembled a small ball of happiness. Reaching to grab the pancake, he took a small bite, making the sweetest face as he chewed.
“Yummy!” he exclaimed, giving you a syrupy smile.
You took the seat next to him, admiring him with a heart full of love. His eyes sparkled with softness—something you hoped he would always keep. Simply being in his presence filled you with a love so irreplaceable that you would rather die than never feel it again.
───
Ellie began waking up, groaning and stretching, irritated by her hangover. A slight headache throbbed, frustration in her movements.
This wasn't a typical situation for her; hangovers had become rare. However, last night had been an exception. Frustration with….well, everything had driven her to consume more alcohol than usual. Now she was dealing with the consequences. Her head pounded as she struggled to open her eyes properly.
"Jesus..” she muttered, rubbing her eyes and wincing at the bright sunlight streaming into the bedroom. With unsteady steps, Ellie stumbled across the room, her eyes squinting against the light as she made her way to the bathroom.
Turning on the cold water, she stepped into the shower, the chill helping to clear her mind. The cold droplets over her body, easing the throbbing in her head. After a quick shower, she dried herself off and brushed her teeth, hoping to get rid of the lingering taste of alcohol.
Feeling slightly refreshed, Ellie made her way downstairs, where the aroma of breakfast tugged at her stomach. She was hungry.
Her eyes widened as she approached the kitchen.
The sight of you and your kid. A warm feeling bloomed in her chest. There was something heartwarming about seeing him eat breakfast like any other day, You looked beautiful sitting beside him, bathed in the soft morning light.
For a moment, Ellie felt a surge of warmth in her heart as she watched. There was a sense of beauty in your presence that she couldn't deny.
But that atmosphere quickly faded as Ellie's hangover intensified, a sharp migraine creeping. She quickly turned to the window and shut it, blocking out the morning light and the fresh breeze.
"Hey!" you exclaimed, upset that she had closed the window.
"What?" She snapped, now in a bad mood and seemingly aggravated.
"I don't want the window closed."
"Well, I do." Her tone indicated she wouldn’t compromise.
You stared at her, walking over to the window and opening it again.
Her expression immediately returned to annoyance. The bright morning light shined on her face, her eyes now squinting.
"Close the damn window."
"No, it's beautiful out, I want to enjoy it."
"Well, I can’t fucking stand it."
"Then maybe you shouldn't drink yourself out…”
Ellie's face tightened at the mention of her hangover.
"I drink because of you. You make me so fucking mad that I need to numb myself somehow."
Your gaze shifts towards ellie, your eyes locking.
"What? You think I enjoy drinking?!” She snapped, her tone loud and harsh. “I hate the feeling, but I hate the reality I live in with you even more. You make me miserable."
Your eyes turned to the floor, a sudden shudder of ache filling you entirely.
There it was.
Ellie saw the emptiness in your eyes, feeling a pit in her stomach. Guilt washed over her, a familiar sensation that she couldn’t shake off. She wanted to make things right, to mend the scars in your relationship. No matter how hard she tried, she always met your efforts with resistance. She didn’t know how to break the pattern, how to control the constant tug-of-war between you two. She was the constant push to your pull, and it left her feeling lost.
"I'm just…being honest, that's all..." Ellie's voice dripped with frustration, her eyes narrowed.
You walked over to your kid, wiping his sticky hands from the syrup, Ellie's gaze followed you. She could sense the weight of her words hanging heavy in the air, knowing she had hurt you once again. The guilt gnawed at her insides, but she struggled to find the right words to express her remorse. She wished she could take back her harshness, to erase the pain she had caused, but the damage was done, and she couldn't undo it.
. Ellie couldn't bear to watch the sight of you being so caring and playful with him. You seemed to effortlessly radiate warmth and love, while she struggled to even crack a smile. Your affectionate gestures towards him, it was pure love, a love she wished she could reciprocate with the same easyness.
"you're a little messy eater huh?" You teased at him, wiping his mouth clean.
Your kid's innocent joy and laughter filled the room, creating a small bubble of happiness. Completely unaware of the tension between you and Ellie, he simply found joy in his pancakes.
You pressed a gentle kiss on his head and collected his messy plate. Making your way to the sink, you diligently scrubbed away the remnants of breakfast. Your kid glanced toward Ellie, a curious expression on his face. "Mommy, you don't want pancakes?"
"I don't want pancakes," she said with a firmness that cut through the air. Her tone was sharp, making it clear that she had no intention of changing her mind. Without glancing at him, she maintained a stare, her expression blank and unreadable.
"But Mama made them," he insisted, pointing towards you, hoping Ellie would try the pancakes made with love, thinking it might make her happy. Ellie rolled her eyes in response, dismissing the idea that she might enjoy the pancakes. Her eyes drifted towards the stack. The pancakes, made with care, looked so delicious. Although her mouth started to water, she hesitated to admit how much she wanted them.
"I'm not hungry." She snapped back, her tone clearly not open to changing her answer.
She looked away immediately after her response.
Clank!
You dropped a plate in the sink, the loud clatter echoing through the kitchen. It was a purposeful move, a warning to Ellie to watch her tone and treatment of your child. While you could handle her sharp comments, you drew the line when it came to your kid.
Ellie's eyes widened at the noise, a flash of irritation as she glared in your direction.
The tension between you both hung in the air for a moment before you resumed cleaning the dishes.
Ellie stayed motionless, her gaze fixed on nothing. She was deep in thought. You couldn’t tell what she was thinking. After a prolonged silence, she finally spoke.
"I don't... want pancakes," she repeated, her tone softer.
"Okay then, you don't have to eat." you responded coldly, finishing the dishes and drying your hands.
Her gaze met yours without showing any emotion. Guilt lingered inside her.
You picked up your son, his playful and happy demeanor in your arms. You carried him, showering him with kisses and affectionate hugs. His carefree and innocence tugged at her, causing a sharp ache.
Seeing you both so happy triggered a wave of jealousy within her. The sight of your joy made her feel pathetic.
"You're spoiling him.” she snapped, her tone with a hint of defensiveness.
She felt threatened, questioning her role as a parent. She continued to watch, all she wanted was to be part of that warmth and happiness.
"I'm just spending time with him," you snapped back, shooting her a glare.
"You're just babying him. He's going to think he can do anything without any consequences. You're raising him to be a spoiled brat..."
"At least I’m raising him..." The room filled with silence and unspoken resentment.
Ellie had no response to that; you hit a sore spot. The tension was heavy in the room, and your kid noticed it immediately.
"m’gonna to go play, mama," he said eagerly.
You nodded and caressed his face, setting him down on the floor. "Okay, my love..."
Ellie glanced over, you looked so loving and caring when you did those small things for your kid. She sighed and turned away, her anger affecting her ability to interact with either of you.
"What’s your problem?" you asked, glaring at her.
Your question caught her off guard; you weren't letting her get away with treating your kid so harshly.
"I just want him to understand what life is really like, not this perfect little bubble you’re building around him. Kids get hurt, and you're not letting him be prepared for a ruthless world."
"He’s already experiencing that with your words..."
She remained silent for a moment. You were right; he had already experienced negativity and hurt just from her words. "He should get used to it; the world isn’t going to be nice to him. At least not when he grows up."
She was clearly still stuck in a bad mood, getting back into her defensive mindset. "Life is a harsh reality; I don't want our son to have unrealistic expectations. He should know what the world is really like."
“He’s a kid,” you said firmly. “He isn’t going to turn out a fuck up.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?!”
“You know exactly what it means.”
Ellie scoffed, her footsteps heavy as she made her way to the kitchen table. She settled into the chair with a frustrated sigh, retrieving a cigarette from her pocket. Lighting it, she took a long drag, the smoke curling upwards in lazy spirals. Her leg bounced anxiously as she sat in tense silence, lost in her own thoughts.
“You slept in bed with us..” you said, your gaze fixed on her.
Ellie twitched at the sudden mention of last night. She didn't reply immediately, just taking more drags from her cigarette. She seemed conflicted between being silent or talking about it.
After a few moments of silence, she finally spoke. “Yeah…”
“You hadn’t done that since…” you started.
"I don’t wanna talk about it," she muttered, cutting you off abruptly. The topic was a sore spot, one that shouldn't be poked.
"It was… just one night," she continued, her tone distant.
You fiddled with your fingers, debating whether to continue. It hadn’t been something that had been discussed in years.
“El’s..” you started, moving closer to her, “I need you to know that I forgiv-”
“Stop.” she interrupted, shutting her eyes as if she already knew what you were going to say.
You stood in front of her, determined to make her face the conversation. “No, Ellie, we need to talk about this-”
“I don’t wanna fucking talk about it.” she quickly interrupted once again, her tone growing louder, her leg bouncing faster as she took another long drag of her cigarette. She truly didn’t want to discuss it, it was something she hoped to bury deep within her mind.
Your frustration and agitation grew as she continued to shut you down. It had become too much for you; you had reached a point where you couldn't continue any longer.
“I don’t give a fuck!” You yelled, causing Ellie to suddenly jolt, almost dropping her cigarette. “Things can not continue like this anymore! I’m tired, Ellie! Fucking tired! I have completely lost myself in continuing to have hope, having faith that things will change, that things will get better…”
“And it’s all because of you.” Your eyes began to swell, tears itching to fall. “I’ve moved on, El’s. I’ve grieved, I’ve mended, I’ve healed! You’re the one who has been stuck in the same place, in the same continuous cycle! Not willing to fucking move!”
You slammed your hand on the table, vibrating the entire surface, making Ellie flinch once again. “Ever since he’s entered our lives, you’ve become unrecognizable! You’re somebody I can’t love anymore!”
Your cheeks were stained with streams of tears, each drop tracing a path down your trembling face. The silent sobs shook your body, leaving you gasping for breath between hiccups.
Ellie's gaze fixated on you, her eyes widening in shock as her lips trembled. “why can’t you fucking see..” she began getting up, now towering over you. “that’s the exact reason i’m this way! I’m the reason for everything!”
Ellie's hands began trembling, her eyes pleading as they started to well up with tears. Her breath hitched, caught in the overwhelming emotions she had kept bottled up for so long. “For fucks sake, I’m the reason you lost our baby!”
Your eyes widened.
"I was the reason we were in Seattle! I chose to seek revenge and took us out there to achieve it!”
"It wasn’t your fault! It was nobody’s fault!" you exclaimed, looking up at her with tear-filled eyes.
Ellie scoffed, avoiding your gaze, a tear escaping down her cheek. "How can you tell me that? I knew you were pregnant and yet still took you! I was supposed to protect you. I was supposed to get the job done! And i-instead…instead..”
Her trembling hands covered her face. The weight of the past was suffocating. Ellie crumbled into the kitchen chair, her sobs echoing throughout the kitchen.
“I let…y-you get,” she choked out, her voice breaking. “f..fucking…s-stabbed...”

Bodyguard!ellie x Model!reader Summary: After gaining more popularity in the public eye, your manager decided to hire you a bodyguard. Usually, you wouldn’t care, but this particular bodyguard, Ellie, is a cold and stubborn one, always controlling your decisions. Tonight, a big party is being thrown, but knowing Ellie, she won’t let you go. You can persuade her...right? a/n: hello angelss!! I wanted to try something different for this fic! lmk what you angels think! Had sm fun with this one <3 (especially with the dynamic!)

You sighed, frustrated with Ellie's determination. It wasn't the first time you had tried to convince her to let you attend social events. Leaning against the wall, you crossed your arms.
"Ellie, come onn! I get it, you're here to protect me, but I can take care of myself too. This party is crucial for my image, and you know how important that is in my line of work," you argued, attempting to convince her.
She narrowed her eyes, "Your image won't matter if something happens to you. You can't trust those people, and I won't let you jeopardize your safety just for the sake of appearances."
You tried a different tactic, softening your tone. "Look, I appreciate what you do, I really do!. But I need to live a little, experience things.! Besides, it's not healthy to be cooped up all the time. Let me go, Ellie, just this once!”
Her expression remained serious, and she shook her head. "No, it's not happening. I've seen how these events turn out, and I won't let you become another headline. My responsibility is to protect you, even from yourself."
You threw your hands up in frustration. "I'm not a child. I can make my own decisions, even if they turn out mistakes."
She stayed silent for a moment, her gaze intense. "I can't let you take unnecessary risks. It's my job to keep you safe, and I won't compromise on that."
"But I got all dolled up!" you say, gesturing towards your outfit.
A smirk crept onto Ellie's face as she looked you up and down. She admired the effort you had put into your appearance, her gaze lingering for a moment.
You had come to know Ellie's strict professionalism quite well, but there was another side to her that occasionally surfaced — a genuine appreciation for your presence. You had caught her stealing glances, subtly tracing the lines of your figure. She silently acknowledged the aura you radiated.
When she got lost in those moments, captivated by you, it didn't escape your notice. You had become a distraction from her duties, something that seemed to drive her fucking crazy. The protector allowing herself a vulnerable moment, drawn in by you.
"Hmm... Well, I might allow it," she finally accepted, a hint of amusement in her voice, "Only if you behave well."
You rolled your eyes. "Fine, fine. I'll be on my best behavior, I promise!”
Ellie maintained her composed demeanor, though a small smile tugged at the corners of her lips. "Don't make me regret this. I'll be watching, and if anything seems off, you're out of there."
You nodded, pleased with the compromise. "Deal!"
Heading towards the door, you couldn't help but feel a sense of victory. Stepping out of the house, ellie followed closely, her eyes scanning the surroundings with a hint of nervousness, ensuring your safety remained her top priority.
fuck. The sight of Ellie in her sleek suit sent shivers down your spine, it always gave her a menacing look.
"Hey~, with that black suit, you look like my date," you said cheekily, a playful glint in your eyes as you teased her. You loved getting under her skin.
Ellie looked at you suspiciously, a faint blush tinting her cheeks "I'm not your date," she stated firmly, attempting to brush off your comment.
"Aww man," you exclaimed, unable to contain your giggles at her seriousness.
She rolled her eyes, hiding a hint of happiness behind her sternness. "Keep acting like that, and I'll forget the deal," she replied, a mischievous grin playing on her lips. It was her turn to be the tease now.
"Harsh!" you exclaimed, grinning as you playfully moved closer to her.
"You're such a brat, you know that?" she said with a playful smirk.
You gasped, exaggerating your shock. "Am not!"
"Then stop acting like one," she shot back, her eyes scanning your body.
You grinned, playfully striding towards your baby pink beetle. "Not until you drop the bossy act."
Opening the car door, you hopped inside. The seats plush and adorned with soft pink cushions, the air filled with the sweet scent of strawberries.
You started the car and began driving, the engine humming as the vehicle glided through the streets. Ellie stared out the window, lost in her thoughts and taking in the passing neighborhood. The quietness of the car started feeling a bit awkward.
Sensing the silence, you reached into your purse, rummaging around until you found your favorite CD. With a grin, you popped it into the player, and your favorite song immediately filled the car with noise.
"AHH!! LOVEE THIS SONG!!" you shrieked and laughed with excitement. The energy of the music lifted the mood, filling the car with a sense of liveliness. Ellie couldn't help but crack a small smile, finding your genuine joy contagious. She smirked as she listened to the music, not exactly to her taste but enjoying the rhythm.
You started dancing in your seat, unable to contain your excitement. With a grin, you rolled down the windows, letting the wind whip through the car as you drove a little faster, caught up in the euphoria of the moment.
Ellie chuckled at your antics, but her enjoyment turned to mild concern when she noticed the speed increasing.
"C-calm down. There's no need to drive so fast," she warned, her tone laced with caution.
"Ughh!! You’re a buzzkill!" you exclaimed, sticking your head out of the window, the music blaring even louder now, practically vibrating the entire car.
"Hey! Enough seriously! " Ellie started to protest, but her words were lost in the rush of the wind and the pulsating beat of the music.
"Ellie! Take the fucking wheel!" you suddenly exclaimed, thrusting your hands out of the window along with your head, bending your body over the window ledge. You were sexy and unstoppable, the wind blowing perfectly against your face and hair.
Ellie, although taken aback, tried not to panic. In a swift move, she grabbed the wheel, taking control of the car and attempting to steer it. The rush of wind and the blaring music was chaotic yet exhilarating. This wasn't an unusual occurrence for her; she was used to your careless and rebellious behavior. However, it always managed to take her by surprise.
You stopped and took the wheel once again, closing the windows and slowing down as Ellie breathed a sigh of relief. "We're here!" you giggled excitedly, undoing your seatbelt and hopping out of the car, with Ellie following behind you.
Approaching the grand mansion, you marveled at its luxury. It stood tall and stunning, illuminated by soft lights against the night sky. Beautiful gardens surrounded it completely.
You walked towards the entrance, excitement building with each step. As you opened the door, you were suddenly greeted by a woman.
"You made it!" she exclaimed.
“I wouldn't have missed it for the world!" you responded.
The lady, still smiling, welcomed you inside with a gesture. “Come on in!” she exclaimed, holding the door open.
As you entered, you turned and waved for Ellie to come along.
Ellie followed behind you. As she looked around, her amazement grew. The party inside was anything but average. The upbeat music filled the air as people danced energetically, drinks flowed freely, and couples were intimately occupied on couches and stairs. She even noticed some people snorting drugs in the bathroom.
Turning towards Ellie, you leaned in and whispered, "Psst, a secret! I didn't even know that lady..."
Ellie laughed softly at your secret. "Really? She seemed to know you, though," she replied.
“I mean, my face is practically everywhere!”
"It must be weird, though. Having people recognizing you and praising you for your beauty. It's quite a big responsibility, isn't it?" she asked, genuinely curious. "Do you sometimes feel overwhelmed by the attention?"
“No, I get the fascination,” you replied, walking over to grab a soda.
"It's pretty funny how unfazed you are," she replied with a smile. “I have to admit, it’s fucking admirable.”
“Aw, don't flirt with me so obviously now,” you teased, grinning as you took a sip of your soda.
Ellie felt her cheeks flush at your remark, catching her off guard. "It's fucking hard not to," she replied, unable to take her gaze away from yours.
“You listen well; you dropped the bossy act,” you teased, playfully bumping your shoulder into hers.
“Fucking try me,” Ellie scoffed, leaning into your ear.
"I'm too busy dancing!" you said, playfully walking away from Ellie.
Approaching a woman who had clearly been checking you out since you entered. With a confident smile, you asked her if she wanted to dance, and she eagerly agreed. Taking her hand, you led her to the dance floor.
As Ellie observed, jealousy played across her face. She had never seen you dance, and she had to admit, she fucking loved it. It was hard for her not to envy the woman dancing with you. Despite being your bodyguard, she found herself unable to tear her eyes away. She wanted to fucking savor it.
The woman continued to get closer to you, too close for Ellie. She felt her anger rise, clenching her fists tightly, nails digging into her palms. She turned her head from side to side, attempting to release the tension building up. Suddenly you pulled the woman in for a kiss, a smile spreading across your face.
Ellie's jaw tightened.
You handed the woman a piece of paper containing your phone number before walking away, heading towards Ellie with exhaustion in your steps.
“Ugh, I need water!!” you exclaimed, your legs giving out from dancing.
"You seem pretty tired," she remarked, a hint of jealousy in her voice.
“Hm? Oh! Yeah, she's been eyeing me the moment I walked in!” you exclaimed, taking a seat on a nearby stool. “I thought I'd give her a chance, and she did not disappoint.”
"Do you just give anyone a chance when they look at you with desire?" she questioned sternly, her tone cold. The jealousy was consuming her, and she was struggling to keep her emotions in check.
“Why does it matter to you?” you asked, genuinely surprised that she cared.
Ellie had to admit, you were right. She was just your bodyguard; it shouldn’t matter to her.
Suddenly, the woman approached you, handing you a beer. "Sorry for exhausting you, princess," she said, only fueling Ellie's jealousy further.
"Princess...? What the fuck," Ellie replied, her anger building up.
The woman looked at Ellie with confusion and scoffed. "And you are..?"
Ellie felt her stomach sink as she met the woman's gaze with a cold, sharp glare. "I'm her bodyguard," she stated firmly, her tone conveying her authority. "It's my job to make sure nothing happens to her. And from what I've seen, you're getting way too close for my liking."
The woman chuckled arrogantly. "Yeah? Well, I don't give a fuck," she replied, smirking as she put her arm around your shoulder.
Ellie had reached her limit. The audacity of this fucking woman,
"Don’t fucking touch my client," Ellie threatened coldly, maintaining a sharp look.
Unfazed, the woman put her beer down aggressively. "What're you going to do?!?" she challenged, now getting closer to Ellie. She was testing limits and crossing lines, pushing Ellie to the edge.
"Hey! Stop it!" you exclaimed, stepping in between Ellie and the woman. "What the fuck is wrong with you?! Causing unnecessary shit."
Bothered, the woman picked up her beer and threw it at you, the liquid soaking your hair and dress. "Fucking bitch.." she muttered angrily, beginning to walk away.
You stood there, now with beer dripping from you, frustration and disbelief on your face.
You let out a scoff, your frustration boiling as you lunged at the woman. Your anger fueled your movements as you tackled her to the ground, pinning her beneath you. With adrenaline coursing through your veins, you unleashed a blow of punches, each blow landing with force on her face. The sound of your fists meeting her bloodied nose, the woman grunting in pain. She had no fucking chance.
Ellie watched the scene before her, her eyes widening as she witnessed.
The people at the party even began crowding around, watching and recording with excitement. The situation had spiraled out of control. With the woman's face bloodied and bruised, her right eye swollen shut, you smudged your face with hers, rubbing the beer she had thrown at you onto her face.
“cunt.” You muttered, finally standing up, your knuckles completely stained in red.
You began walking towards the door, the crowd following right behind you. Ellie, still standing near the door, was fucking stunned. Completely speechless.
You opened the door and headed towards your car. Fastening your seatbelt, you yelled out the window, "ELLIE, GET THE FUCK IN HERE!!"
Ellie jolted as she quickly made her way to the car. Her cheeks burned with embarrassment from the crowd's whispers and stares. You swerved, aligning the passenger seat with the main entrance. Lowering the window, it allowed ellie to jump into the seat through it. However, not giving her time to fully get in, you accelerated quickly with half of her body still hanging outside.
“wait, wait, wait!!” Ellie exclaimed loudly, her eyes shut tight as she desperately gripped onto the seat. “You’re fucking crazy!!” she yelled.
You were definitely making the headlines again.

You took a deep breath, choosing your words carefully.
‘We both knew the risks. You didn't force me to come with you. We made that decision together," you said, trying to reason with her.
She shot you a glare, her eyes red and filled with anger. "Don't make fucking excuses."
The room turned cold. She wiped away her tears with a rough motion, revealing a hardness in her eyes that hadn't been there before.
"I lost everything. All those people I killed, all the pain I caused, and for what? Nothing. Revenge didn't bring them back. It just left me with a trail of fucking corpses."
You reached out to touch her shoulder, hoping to provide some comfort, but she shrugged it off.
"Don't fucking touch me. I don't need your pity," Ellie snapped, her voice cutting through the air like a blade.
The warmth that once existed between you had disintegrated, leaving only a cold, bitter residue. She stood up abruptly, storming out of the kitchen. You stood there for a moment, feeling the sharp sting of Ellie's words. For one final time.
Taking a deep breath, you composed yourself and followed after her into the living room. Ellie took a seat on the couch, retrieving a cigarette from her pocket. Her hands trembled as she attempted to calm herself. With puffy eyes, she avoided your gaze, her eyes darting away from yours.
"Ellie, I can't stay here like this. I can't watch you destroy yourself," you said, your voice steady "If you won't let me help, if you won't let anyone in, then I can't be a part of this. I can't keep trying to fix something that you're determined to break."
Ellie turned to face you, anger simmering in her eyes, a huge shift from the vulnerability she had shown moments ago. "So that's it, huh? You're going to leave?"
"It's not about leaving," you replied, meeting her gaze. "I’ve realized that I can't force you to change. I can't make you confront the past if you're not willing to face it yourself."
Her jaw tightened.
"I can't do it anymore, Ellie!" you continued, your voice with frustration. "I can't stand by and watch you destroy everything, including our family. The constant anger, the distance, it's not fair to him, it's not fair to me."
A flicker of anxiety passed through Ellie's eyes, so quick you almost missed it. But it was there, a crack in her facade.
"I found a place," you confessed, "Maria.. helped me. It's a small house.”
Ellie clenched her fist tighter, her nails practically piercing right through her skin. "You can't just take him away from me."
"I'm saving what's left of our family." you shot back, "He deserves a stable environment, one where he doesn't have to-."
Ellie suddenly got up, her eyes begging, yet her body language was saying something entirely different. Trembling, her fists clenched, and her gaze locked onto you with worry. No, it wasn't just worry—it was raw, genuine fear. The very fear she dreaded most was happening right before her eyes. You were leaving. Taking your son with you, and leaving her behind. Ellie's hands quivered, her nails digging so deeply into her palms that they burned.
Her breathing came in shallow gasps, her chest rising and falling rapidly as she struggled to calm herself. "Please,.." she whispered, "Don't…leave..me"
"Ellie..." Your voice quivered, torn between your own fear and wanting to comfort her.
But she wasn't finished. With desperation, she took a step closer, her voice trembling as she continued, "You can't do this. p-please, don't take him away from me. I-I..need you both. I can't... I can't do this alone."
You felt a lump form in your throat.
"We’re leaving." you finally said, your voice remaining firm.
Desperation and anger flashed in Ellie's eyes. "No, no, no!" she cried out, her voice turning into a panicked plea. "You can't just abandon me. I-Iwon't let you."
Ellie bolted towards the stairs, her footsteps hard against the wooden steps. Panic rushed through you, followed behind her, fearing what she might do next. As you reached the top of the staircase, you saw Ellie rushing towards your child's room.
"Ellie, stop!" you shouted, your heart racing.
But she ignored you, flinging open the door to your child's room. Panic and confusion gripped you as you chased after her.
"Ellie, please!" you pleaded, your voice trembling with desperation.
She turned to face you, desperation on her face. "If you leave, I'm taking him with me. I won't let you take him away!"
Your heart thumped in your chest as Ellie's trembling hands reached for your child. In a flash, she scooped him into her arms, holding him protectively against her chest. His innocent eyes widened in confusion, fear surrounding him.
"No! Ellie, stop it!" you cried out, reaching out to her.
But she clutched him tighter, her voice trembling. "No! n-not yet.. It's too soon! I... I haven't... I haven't..."
The realization struck you. Ellie’s words trailed off. She was lost in a moment of painful memory. She was thinking of Joel. The wounds of their relationship still raw and unhealed. Your child in her arms was a symbol, a fragile connection to the past that haunted her.
"Ellie..." Your voice softened, the weight of her grief finally making sense."It's not him. He's safe. You're safe."
Tears welled up in Ellie's eyes as she clung to your child, her shaking grip. "I... I couldn't save him. I couldn't save him..."
The weight of her words settled in the room, and you finally understood the depth of her pain. It wasn't just about you leaving; it was the fear of losing the people she cared about, a fear rooted so far deep in the scars of her past.
Your child, looked up at Ellie with innocent eyes. "What's wrong mommy ?" the small voice asked.
Ellie's gaze shifted to him, pain and guilt plastered on her face. She couldn't find the words to answer, her throat tightening.
"Mommy, why are you sad?" he continued, he needed to know what was wrong. He couldn’t stand to see Ellie like this.
Ellie's breath hitched, pulling the child even closer to her chest. The room seemed to trap her, the walls closing in as if they were tightening, her grip on your child's arms remained. As if he was her only form of escape.
"I..I won’t.." Ellie mumbled, almost to herself, her voice strained.
Your child’s worry grew, he turned to look at you, needing an answer. You knew you had to do something, but what?
"Ellie, please, just listen to me," you pleaded, taking slow steps towards her.
"g-get away!" she yelled, holding onto your child even tighter, her hands clenching around his small arms.
"ow!" he yelped, a sudden pain in his voice.
Your heart raced with a surge of panic. You didn’t want him to be involved in this.
"please, just let him go, and we can talk about thi-"
"Shut the fuck up!" Ellie yelled, her voice vibrating throughout the entire room.
Your child's eyes began to water, his anxiety growing with each passing second. He didn't know what to think or do.
"m..mommy, i-it hurts.." he hiccuped, looking up at Ellie with stained cheeks, tears streaming down like rivers.
Ellie's mind was in complete disarray, buzzing with countless thoughts that raced with chaos. Her hands shook, her body unable to find stillness. Her eyebrows furrowed as she struggled to gather herself. Adrenaline surged through her veins, her breaths coming in heavy uneven gasps. She couldn't focus on anything anymore; all her senses were useless.
A ringing began to buzz in her ears, her eyes frantically scanning the room, catching a glimpse of you, your lips moving as you tried to speak to her. But the ringing was so unbearable, drowning out any sound.
"ELLIE!" your voice pierced right through it.
───
“ELLIE!”
Ellie snapped her neck towards the shout of her name, eyes widening as she took in the sight before her.
There you stood, hands trembling, your shirt drenched in blood, the crimson liquid slowly seeping onto the damp grass. Your eyes were wide, on the verge of bursting. filled with an overflow of tears. Your legs shook, threatening to give way at any moment, knees weakened by the sharp pain from the blade lodged in your lower stomach, Your throat felt strained, as if ellie’s name was all you could speak.
Frantically, Ellie ran towards you, her heart pounding against her chest. With each step, she stumbled, her breath quickening.
no..No..NO!!
As Ellie reached you, a rush of tears burst from your eyes, your face covered in salty droplets that slid down your quivering lips.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck!" Ellie exclaimed in panic, her hands moving frantically as she tried to figure out what to do. "H-Here, baby, lay down," she urged, her voice trembling as she tried to stay strong.
Ellie gently guided you to lie down, your entire body ached with anguish, trembling as you grunted in pain, trying to remain as quiet as possible. Not wanting to attract any attention.
You were completely surrounded by the WLF.
You sank into the damp grass, the earth stained with blood, the sharp scent of iron filling the air. Ellie knelt beside you, her hands trembling as she stared down at you.
"I need something to stop the bleeding," she muttered to herself, her eyes darting around.
"s-stay with me, please," she pleaded, her voice trembling with fear. With swift movements, she tore fabric from her own shirt, clutching it tightly in her shaking hands.
"I'm going to t-take it out... okay?" she said nervously, her gaze fixated on your stomach.
You weakly reached for Ellie's, your own hands completely bloodied from clutching your abdomen. Ellie looked at you, her eyes watering, her gaze filled with terror.
"I got you." she said, leaning forward and placing a kiss on your forehead. The softness of her pink lips being the only warm sensation your body felt. You closed your eyes, hiccuping as silent sobs shook your body.
You nodded weakly, unable to utter a single word. The pain was too overwhelming, threatening to consume you if you let out even a whimper.
Ellie nodded back, a gesture of readiness. She placed her right hand on your stomach, shaking uncontrollably as she made contact with your cold skin.
You brought the side of your hand up to your mouth, pressing your teeth into it to suppress the agony.
Ellie reached for the handle of the blade, her hand hesitating as if she were afraid of the very object she needed to hold. Her heart sank as she drew closer to it, her hands finally gripping around it with a shaky grip.
She knew what she was about to do. Pulling out the blade meant unleashing a flow of blood, a sign that your baby's life would be lost along with it. It meant she would have to endure yet another loss of someone she deeply loved.
Ellie's mind raced, her breath quickening with every passing thought. Tears streamed down her face, her chest rising rapidly with the weight of the decision before her. Her lips quivered as she bit down on her bottom lip.
What she would give to be the one to die instead.
The baby she could've raised.
Her hand tightened around the knife.
The baby she had dreamed of carrying.
Swiftly, Ellie pulled the blade, the sharp "shling!" sound muffling your groans as blood began to pour out.
The baby she would've killed for.
Urgently, Ellie applied the torn cloth to your wound, her hands working quickly despite their shaking. She pressed down firmly, trying to control the flow of blood as best as she could.
You clenched your teeth, suppressing the cries of pain that wanted to escape your lips. Every movement sent waves of agony through your body, but you gritted your teeth and endured. Your face was completely drenched in tears and snot.
You had lost everything—the future you had daydreamed about.
Ellie's arms shook as she patched you up, her body convulsing with sobs, her bottom lip bitten to muffle them. Tears streamed down her face, falling onto your skin.
"Ellie.." you whispered, your voice barely a breath.
───
"Ellie.." you repeated.
You stood before her, your presence causing her eyes to flicker as if what was before her was unreal. Ellie's gaze dropped to your child, his head resting gently against her chest. For a moment, it seemed she had disappeared entirely, lost in a memory.
"I..." Ellie began, her voice choked as she looked back up at you, tears glistening in her eyes. "I can't keep running from it.."
"I need to face it.” Ellie continued, her tone serious. "For you, for our child... for myself. I need to change, to become someone you can rely on, someone worthy of your love."
Your heart pounded, each beat a flicker of hope. You realized in that moment, the true reason you couldn't fully accept Ellie's presence this morning. Despite her being in bed with you after months of being absent, she remained unrecognizable. She wasn't the woman you had fallen for, the woman who once held a place in your heart.
"I'll.. find you again, I promise," Ellie said finally, her voice firm. "No matter what it takes, I'll find my way back to you."
Finally.
Ellie's words created something, a belief that maybe, just maybe, things could change for the better.
With tear-filled eyes, you gently squeezed her hand.
—
Tommy’s truck sat parked in the driveway, hauling boxes filled with you and your child’s belongings. With a heavy sigh, you struggled to carry one of the larger boxes towards the truck.
“That’s a heavy one, let me get it for ya,” Tommy offered, stepping forward to take it.
“Thank you,” you replied gratefully
“No problem,” he responded with a chuckle, making his way towards the truck.
As Tommy loaded the remaining boxes, you took a moment to glance around the mostly-empty house. Most of its decorations had been packed away, leaving the space feeling a bit bare., Ellie’s belongings being the only ones untouched.
"Mama! Mama!" Your child's voice yelled, filled with excitement as he raced towards you. "I checked the whole house and no more boxes!"
You smiled proudly at him. "Thank you, honey," you said, reaching out to ruffle his hair as he giggled happily.
You had explained to him that you were moving into a new home, and that Ellie wouldn't be joining you right away. Instead, she would stay at the farmhouse, protecting it from monsters until she was sure it was safe. Only then would she come to live with you. It was the easiest way to explain the situation to him, and he had undoubtedly understood.
"Hey," Ellie called out as she walked outside
"Hey," you greeted, offering her a warm smile. "We're all ready to go."
She nodded softly, her gaze shifting to your child. "Did you secure the house?"
Your child giggled, rushing towards Ellie and embracing her tight hug before doing a playful salute. "All clear!"
Ellie chuckled, ruffling your child's hair playfully. "Good job, kiddo."
"Alright, everything's packed and ready to roll," Tommy announced, clasping his hands together. "Oh, but uh, mind if I use yer bathroom real quick?"
Ellie nodded, gesturing towards the house. "Door to your left."
"Gotcha," Tommy replied, hurrying inside.
Ellie approached you, her steps hesitant. She reached for your hand, her touch gentle as she caressed it softly with her thumb. The sensation of your skin against hers stirred something deep within her, a longing she hadn't realized she harbored so intensely.
"I..." Ellie hesitated. She wanted to say the words, those three simple words that held so much. But she knew she didn't have the right to utter them, not yet. She had to prove herself, show you that she was worthy of saying them, and that you could believe in them too.
As you gazed into her eyes, you saw her determination. It was a silent promise, to do whatever it took to earn back your trust and love.
"make us..believe again," you said, meeting her gaze.
Ellie nodded firmly.
You offered Ellie a final smile before lifting your child into your arms. "Take care, Els,"
"Take care, Mommy! Keep the monsters away!" your child chimed in.
"I will," Ellie replied, her voice filled with reassurance as she waved goodbye to both of you while you walked towards the truck.
Tommy emerged from the house, embracing Ellie before stepping back and shaking her hand firmly. "Be safe," he said.
"Don't worry," Ellie responded, feeling the paper Tommy slipped into her hand. "I am."
With a firm nod, Tommy walked away towards the truck, getting inside and starting the engine. As the truck began to move, Ellie waved goodbye, your child's head poking out of the window as he waved back. The truck slowly but surely disappeared into the distance,.
Ellie lowered her hand from waving goodbye, clutching the paper tightly in her grasp. With heavy steps, she entered the house, shutting the door behind her with a loud thud. Throwing the folded paper onto the kitchen table, she quickly ascended the stairs to your old shared bedroom.
Opening the door, Ellie headed directly for the closet, rummaging through it until her fingers found the familiar grip of her shotgun—the same one she had drunkenly tried finding that one night. Gotcha.
Snatching up her packed backpack, Ellie hurried back downstairs, clutching her shotgun firmly. At the kitchen table, she placed her bag on its surface, extracting shotgun shells and loading them into the weapon. Placing the gun on the table before unfolding the paper.
A tourist map of Seattle.
Ellie's lips curled into a smirk as she scanned the map thoroughly. "Huh, you’re still there," she muttered, eagerness coursing through her veins.
Stuffing the map into her pocket and slinging her backpack over her shoulders, Ellie grabbed her shotgun once more. With ease, she cocked the weapon, the familiar click echoing.
She was truly going to face her past.
But I'm a lesbian!

ellie x abby x dina x fem!reader a/n: inspired by the movie, "but i'm a cheerleader" !! Did my own little spin on it. (This may have a part two!)
→ Part two! → Part three! → Part four! → Part five! → Part six!

Forced to a camp known as "True Directions," your arrival was no choice of your own. Your parents, upon discovering your sexuality, had made the decision to send you there. As you followed your guide towards the dormitories, someone caught your eye—a girl with auburn hair, casually puffing on a cigarette.
Noticing your presence, the girl glanced up and rolled her eyes. Your guide gestured towards her, prompting her to approach you. Extending her hand, she introduced herself, "Ellie."
"Hello," you responded, your voice betraying your nerves as you shook her hand, noting its soft yet firm grip.
With a sigh, Ellie remarked, "they sent new meat here again, huh?" She took another drag from her cigarette, casting a judgmental gaze in your direction.
"I’m sure to be out of the way," you said, trying to sound confident. "I’ll pass every trial here to get back home."
A smirk tugged at the corner of her lips. “Uh-huh..." she mused. “You’ll be here a while then."
“Ahem," the guide cleared her throat towards Ellie, who responded with an eye roll before retreating to her pink bed.
"Very well then, I will leave you to unpack your things. This will be your dorm. You will share this space with three other roommates, feel free to report anything back to me," she said, her tall and commanding presence by her bouncing blond hair as she talked.
"Especially anything involving this one," she added, shooting a glance at Ellie.
"Well," the guide grasped your arms, giving them a squeeze, "welcome to 'True Directions,' we'll fix you right up, dear!”
You gave a hesitant half-smile, trying to hide your discomfort.
Returning your gesture with a bright smile, the guide nodded happily before leaving, closing the door behind her with a soft click.
Silence.
Clutching onto your suitcases, the silence became increasingly awkward, and you debated whether to speak up. Should you ask where to put your belongings? But the fear of annoying or bothering Ellie made you hesitant.
Fuck it.
"Um, excuse me, where can I—"
"There," Ellie interrupted, her tone nonchalant as she pointed toward a corner of the room, her gaze still not meeting yours.
Your eyes followed her gesture to an empty white dresser tucked away, starkly different from the others that were already occupied. Making your way towards the dresser, you took in the room once more. The overwhelming femininity was hard to ignore—pink walls, beds, and shelves adorned with stuffed animals. Setting your suitcase down with a thud, you unzipped it, the sound of the zipper echoing loudly in the silent room.
Opening the drawer, the scent of brand new furniture wafted across your nose, tickling it and nearly causing you to sneeze.
Ellie got up from her bed, pulling open her drawer with a tug. In it were an assortment of items—makeup, hair accessories, and jewelry jumbled together. Rummaging through it, Ellie let out a sharp exhale, finally finding something from the depths of the drawer.
Without a glance in your direction, she held out a ribbon and a few hair clips. "Here," she muttered.
Your eyes widened at the adorable accessories as she tossed them over to you. "Put your hair up or something. It's better not to have it in the way, especially during our routines.”
"Ah, thank you," you expressed, catching them. "Are these.. yours?"
"Yeah... unfortunately," Ellie responded dryly.
With a nod, you started to arrange your hair with the clips.
As you styled your hair, the weight of Ellie's gaze pressed against your back like a physical force. Every subtle movement you made was studied, from the way you lifted strands of hair to the careful twisting of the ribbon around the ponytail. Even the simple act of tucking a stray lock behind your ear felt intense.
What’s this girl's deal?
The intensity of her stare became almost suffocating, leaving your hands trembling slightly as you worked. Despite her focus only on your hair, the sensation of being under her gaze felt like she was peering into your soul.
Finally, Ellie broke the silence with a quiet, husky voice, her words cutting through the tension. "You need a mirror?"
Her gaze remained fixed on you, relentless.
"No," you managed to reply, attempting to be confident.
But the moment her voice echoed throughout the room, heat began rising to your cheeks, and you couldn’t help but hesitate. Her presence felt overwhelming, a mix of nerves, fear, and desire swirling within you, all under her attention.
“Hm..” Ellie replied, seeming more curious now. She uncrossed her arms and slowly walked over to you. You could hear the way Ellie’s footsteps made the floor creak as she walked.
"Hm?" you managed to utter as Ellie closed in on you, her presence surrounding you with every step she took. The breath from her lips brushed against the nape of your neck as she leaned in.
"You're missing a strand," Ellie said, her voice softer than before.
The sensation of her being so close, her breath teasing your skin. You wanted to turn around and face her.
Her closeness was so overwhelming.
As Ellie's hand brushed against your hair, a sharp shiver coursed through your spine, setting your heartbeat into a quick rhythm. Her touch lingered, fingers twirling strands of your hair, as she leaned in even closer, so suffocatingly close. It felt as though Ellie was on the verge of whispering something, her breath agonizingly near-
"Yo, Ellie!"
The tension in the room broke as Dina and Abby burst in, causing Ellie to let go of your hair and step back.
Their expressions shifted abruptly from excitement to surprise as they noticed you. Dina's curious gaze looked over, her head tilting in confusion, while Abby's cold stare pierced through you.
"You must be the new one," Abby remarked, her tone icy, her eyes never leaving you as if dissecting your very being.
"Y-yeah.. I am," you responded, finally finishing your hair.
Abby simply nodded in acknowledgment, while Dina chuckled to herself.
"Aw, the new girl is all nervous!" Dina's teasing remark was followed by a smirk and a playful wave of her hand. She shifted her attention to Ellie, observing her growing annoyance. Dina seemed to catch on to something, finding the situation amusing.
"Ooooh! Ellie was hitting on ya!" Dina's snickering only added to Ellie's frustration as she clenched her jaw tightly, arms crossed.
Abby, maintaining her silent observation, continued to stare at the both of you.
"Ah! no..she was just helping me with my hair," you replied, attempting to stop the teasing.
"Awh. Is that so?" Dina's teasing tone persisted as she continued to giggle, her gaze towards Ellie who remained annoyed.
Abby's gaze suddenly shifted as she walked towards you, gently pushing a strand of hair behind your ear. Her touch was surprisingly tender.
"There," she remarked softly, a smile gracing her lips, the gesture catching you off guard. It was so unexpected. "You had missed a strand."
Abby looked back at Ellie, a smirk on her lips, her eyes flickering as she made a mocking glance with her.
Suddenly, the camp director barged in, her authoritative voice vibrating throughout the room. "Ladies!" she commanded, making all the girls snap their attention towards the door where the camp director now stood.
Ellie groaned as soon as she heard that familiar voice.
"All of you, get out for morning exercise," the director ordered, her stern gaze scanning everyone. "Now."
With a swift turn, the camp director walked out of the room, the echo of her clicking heels fading as she left. Abby, Dina, and Ellie all groaned in unison, knowing what was to come. They made their way to their designated dressers, preparing to change into their gym clothes.
Amidst the shuffling of clothing, you voiced your confusion. "W-what are we doing?"
Abby scoffed at your question, a smirk on her lips. "Did Ellie not go through the routines and rules with you?"
You shook your head.
"Not surprising," she remarked before chuckling, "she always seems to get distracted-"
“We're doing morning cardio and stretching routines,” Ellie cut in, her voice clear and assertive, pulling out her sports bra and short shorts. “Your gym clothes are in your dresser.”
Abby bit her lip, suppressing a laugh. "Well, there you go.”
You nodded in understanding, “thanks..”
Walking to your dresser, you pulled open the top drawer, revealing a variety of outfits and uniforms, all varying shades of pink. The sight left your head spinning a bit as you realized this would be your life for the next couple of months.
As you began changing, you felt a wave of self-consciousness wash over you. With hesitant movements, you peeled off your shirt and skirt, the fabric slipping from your skin with a soft rustle. All the while, you were aware of Abby and Ellie's eyes lingering on you.
Abby's gaze, though subtle, was sharply observant, her eyes tracing up and down your body with an almost predatory glare. It was as if she was memorizing every curve and contour. Meanwhile, Ellie's attention was more focused, her gaze lingering on specific areas of your body, like your hips and chest. There was an intensity in her stare, a curiosity that was borderline intrusive.
Slap!
With a sharp sting on your ass, a sudden jolt of surprise chilled through you, causing you to yelp. "You'll make us late at this pace!" Dina's voice rang out, her arm wrapping around you protectively, shielding you from the view of Abby and Ellie.
"Ah! You're right," you exclaimed, quickly slipping into your gym clothes.
Dina gave you a quick grin before turning her attention towards Abby and Ellie. Squinting her eyes playfully, she shook her head slowly, teasingly disappointed in the two of them. Abby hurriedly looked away, pretending to be preoccupied with tying her shoelaces, while Ellie rolled her eyes.
───
As you and the other girls made your way to the track, you found yourselves walking together in a small group. Ellie and Abby led the way, showing no signs of slowing down despite your struggle to keep up. Meanwhile, Dina’s pace was slower, occasionally glancing at you.
"So, how'd you get caught?" Dina asked slyly, a mischievous look in her eyes.
You turned to look at her, taken aback by the sudden question. "What?"
"You were sent here for a reason," Dina said curiously, making Abby and Ellie turn their heads, intrigued to hear your response.
"I..don't think I want to share," you said, avoiding eye contact from feeling a bit nervous.
"Oh, come on!" Dina urged, now walking next to you, realizing your hesitance. "Don't be so shy. How about we tell you ours? Will that make you less embarrassed?"
"Hmm..alright," you agreed. Maybe learning about their experiences would help get to know them.
Excitedly, Dina clapped her hands together. "Okay, okay! I'll go first." She moved closer to you, her shoulder practically bumping into yours. "I got caught watching lesbian porn."
A snicker escaped Ellie's lips as she tried to hold back her laughter.
Dina shot a playful glare. "You have no right to laugh, El's."
"Doesn't make it any less funny," Ellie retorted.
Dina scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Since it’s sooo funny, you go then."
Ellie's eyes locked onto yours, her voice embarrassed. "I ordered a strap online, and it got delivered to the wrong address. To my fucking neighbor, Seth. Dude went ballistic and sent me here, said I needed to be controlled."
A rush of heat flooded your cheeks as Ellie's words sank in, full of curiosity and intrigue. The mere idea of her wearing a strap sent a flow of sensations that pulsed throughout your body. Your throat became dry trying to visualize it.
"Ab's! Your turn!" Dina interrupted excitedly, Abby's story was always her favorite.
Abby smirked, turning her gaze towards you. "Unlike Ellie, I got to use my strap," she remarked mischievously.
Ellie groaned at Abby'scomment, clearly unimpressed.
“I got caught fucking my father's assistant nurse with it.”
Dina squealed as she shook your arm excitedly. "Now THAT'S a coming out story!" she exclaimed.
Ellie shot Dina a glare, clearly annoyed by her reaction. With a scoff, she turned her head away, facing in the opposite direction.
Abby, on the other hand, smirked at Ellie's and playfully hit her back. "Aw, it's okay, El's," she said reassuringly.
"Okay, okay, tell us yours now," Dina urged eagerly, her and Abby's curious gazes fixed on you,
“Well..” you began, your hands fidgeting nervously as you mustered up the courage. “My parents walked in on me and my cheer captain…” You hesitated for a moment before continuing “...69’ing on the kitchen counter.”
Ellie quickly snapped her head back to look at you. Dina and Abby’s eyes widened, completely startled.
“Y-yeah…” you confirmed, meeting the girls' shocked gazes. “Mid-squirt too…”
Ellie’s eyes widened as if they were going to pop. Dina’s jaw dropped, with her mouth slowly curving into a smirk, “You fucking win.”
───
"Alright, ladies," the head director announced, her voice carrying across the track, “forty-five minutes around the track, as per usual. Afterward, we hit the showers in preparation for cooking classes."
"Remember, ladies," she continued excitedly, "these skills aren't just beneficial, they also attract men! It's just another step closer to becoming 'normal'."
The moment the word "normal" left the director's lips, you noticed the collective eye rolls and groans from the other girls. Ellie's jaw tightened as she stared away, grumbling under her breath. Abby crossed her arms, completely unamused, while Dina couldn't help but snicker, lowering her face to hide her giggle.
With a sharp blow of the whistle, the director signaled the start of the morning run.
As you began your laps around the track, you couldn't help but notice the effortless speed and stamina of Ellie and the other girls. They seemed to glide around the track with ease.
Struggling to keep up, your legs began to burn. Your breath came in short, ragged gasps as you pushed yourself onward.
"Hey, you doing okay?" Abby asked.
"Ye..yeah..." you managed to reply between heavy breaths.
Abby arched an eyebrow, clearly seeing through you. "You do know we have about 20 more laps to go, right?"
Before you could respond, a sudden stumble sent you tumbling to the ground. Abby instinctively reached out to help, but her attempt only resulted in her losing her balance, causing her to trip and accidentally pull Ellie down with her.
Ellie hit the concrete hard, her knee taking the force of the fall. Gritting her teeth, she clenched her jaw tightly as pain shot through her scrapped knee. With all three of you on the ground, the sudden scene caused a chuckle from Dina. "Holy shit, you guys fell like bowling pins," she remarked.
"Shit, sorry El's-" Abby began to apologize.
“What the fuck is your problem?!” Ellie yelled, her tone cold as she glared up at Abby.
Abby glared back at Ellie, her expression tense. "What-"
“Watch where you’re fucking going. It’s not that hard,” Ellie snarled, gritting her teeth as she noticed the large scrape on her knee.
“T-that was on me-" you added, feeling guilty for the accident.
Abby suddenly got up, her face contorted with anger as she looked down at Ellie. “I didn’t mean to, I-"
Ellie suddenly stood up too, her height making her have to look up at Abby. “I’m so fucking sick of you trying to assert something. It’s fucking annoying.”
Abby scoffed, “Yeah? I’m tired of your pussy fucking attitude.” She then moved closer towards Ellie, the sudden bump causing Ellie to sway a bit.
Ellie chuckled, tilting her head to the side before locking eyes with Abby. “Pussy, huh?”
“You are what you fucking eat,” Abby snapped back, her tone sharp.
You got up from the concrete floor, every inch of your body feeling the lingering sting from the sudden impact. “She didn’t mean to, I tripped and-” you tried to explain, but before you could finish, Ellie raised her fist. Her initial target being Abby, who managed to step back just in time to avoid the blow. Unfortunately, you stepped further, positioning yourself between them, but before you could react, Ellie's fist mistakenly met your nose.
“Holy shit!” Dina yelled, her hand covering her mouth in shock.
You felt the impact jolt through your body as you stumbled back, finding stability in Abby's embrace as her arms wrapped around you from behind.
“Fuck, I am so sorry-" Ellie began to apologize, her voice filled with remorse.
“Fucking really?!?” Abby yelled, frustrated as she stepped you to the side. “You fucking hit her!”
“I didn’t mean to!” Ellie yelled back, her tone defensive as she tried to explain herself.
“Didn’t mean to? You punched her!”
“G-guys, I’m fine-" you said, your voice strained through the pain, attempting to step towards them again, holding your throbbing nose.
“I was clearly trying to punch your bitch ass!” Ellie yelled.
“Oh yeah?” Abby raised her fist, aiming for Ellie, her knuckles clenched as she intended to give her a piece of her mind for hurting you and being such a brat. However, as you stepped in between them once again, Abby's fist accidentally hit you, the impact shocking you and causing a blur in your vision.
“Oh my god!” Dina yelled, her eyes widening in horror as she flinched.
You stumbled backward, the world blurring around you as you tripped over your loose shoelace, your body rushing towards the concrete floor once again, jarring your senses and sending a wave of pain through your body.
Abby took her hands to her chest, her mouth covered in disbelief.
“fuck, fuck, fuck! Are you okay?” Ellie exclaimed, her voice filled with concern as she quickly knelt down beside you.
Your nose was now bleeding, droplets of blood scattering across the concrete floor like raindrops. The metallic tang of blood filled the air, mixing with the scent of sweat. You winced as pain shot through your face, throbbing relentlessly.
“I think my nose is broken…” you managed to say, your words muffled by the blood dripping down your face.
“Now nobody can sit on her face,” Dina groaned.
But I'm a lesbian! pt.2
ellie x abby x dina x fem!reader a/n: part 2 is heree!! tysm for the support on part one!! lmk what you angels think & if a part three is needed 😼
→ Part one! → Part three! → Part four! → Part five! → Part six!

Abby and Ellie glared at Dina as she grinned with a smug look on her face, laughing slightly at the realization of what she said.
"Hey, don't get mad at me!" Dina snarled. "I wasn't the one who punched her face!"
“Yeah, but you’re joking about it,” Abby finally spoke up, her tone filled with disdain and annoyance. Meanwhile, Ellie continued to check your nose, applying pressure to it to stop any swelling and prevent the bleeding from getting out of control.
“We need to get you to the infirmary,” she stated.
“Yeah, it hurts pretty bad…” Your voice strained as you continued to hold your nose, the pain intensifying as the bleeding persisted.
Ellie sighed and stood back up, helping you to your feet. “Come on,” she said softly, wrapping her arm around your waist.
Abby stopped in front of both of you, her gaze fixed on Ellie. "El's, let me do it," she insisted, reaching out for your hand in an attempt to separate you from her grasp. Ellie's grip on your waist tightened, “No, I got it,” she insisted, her voice stubborn.
“Can you even stand?” Abby scoffed, taking a glance at Ellie's scraped knee.
Ellie furrowed her eyebrows, her face serious despite the pain. “Can you fuck off?”
A brief moment of tension rose as Abby and Ellie locked eyes.
"Just kiss already," Dina groaned, clearly annoyed at how both Ellie and Abby were acting.
Ellie grumbled under her breath, shooting a glare in Dina's direction. Abby let out a chuckle before letting go of your hand with a resigned sigh.
"Fine," Abby huffed, releasing your hand and taking a step back. "But," she continued, pulling off her gym shirt, revealing her glistening abs and sweat trickling down her stomach.
"Here," she said, placing her shirt gently over your nose to control the bleeding. "I'm sorry, I really didn't mean to," she said, her expression genuinely concerned.
"Don't worry about it," you said, managing a smile despite the blood staining your face.
Abby peeked around the shirt to check if the bleeding stopped, giving you a small smile. She gently wiped some blood off your top lip with her thumb, her touch light and soothing as she caressed it lightly. A smear of blood remained on her thumb as she looked over at Ellie. She released your lip, flashing a playful smirk towards her. "Be careful."
"We'll come visit!" Dina chimed in.
Ellie nodded in agreement, guiding you both toward the nurse's office with a slight limp in her walk.
───
“Your nose is indeed broken,” the nurse confirmed, "How did this even occur?"
“We...uh...we fell,” Ellie responded, her gaze averted, a hint of embarrassment in her voice.
The nurse shook her head, "You're always getting into something, Ellie," she said, side-eyeing her scraped knee.
“It was an accident! Besides, it’s not like you didn’t have patients getting worse injuries,” Ellie snapped.
"The last time you came in here, it was for two broken fingers!" the nurse replied sharply, "I’ve never seen a middle and ring finger so contorted-"
“Alright, alright!” Ellie interrupted, quickly eager to change the subject.
The nurse carefully removed Abby's now bloody shirt from your nose, her movements gentle yet purposeful. She folded it neatly and set it aside before proceeding to clean and disinfect the area around the bridge of your nose. With precise motions, she applied antiseptic patches and carefully placed a bandage along the bridge, ensuring it was securely in place.
“Whose shirt is this?" the nurse asked, her hands occupied with the final touches of patching you up.
“It’s Abby’s,” Ellie responded, her attention fixed on the nurse's movements.
"Anderson..?" the nurse asked, holding the shirt, raising an eyebrow.
“Yeah…” Ellie confirmed, observing the nurse's reaction closely. The nurse's cheeks flushed slightly as a sudden realization dawned upon her.
The nurse's realized her distraction and quickly refocused on wrapping the plaster around your nose. She ensured that it fit nicely and comfortably before handing you the painkillers.
Suddenly, the nurse's office door flung open, causing everyone in the room to startle. You and Ellie jumped in surprise, and the nurse turned around with annoyance.
"Knock before you—" she began to scold, but her words trailed off as her gaze landed on Abby, who just entered the room along with Dina. Abby's gaze turned to the side as she closed the door behind her, the graceful curve of her nose in the soft light. She was still shirtless, wearing only a black sports bra that accentuated her muscular arms. Her hair braided down, framing her face and sharp features. The sight left the nurse momentarily mesmerized, her thighs involuntarily squeezing together as she shifted in her seat.
Dina walked over, apologizing, "Sorry sorry! We just wanted to check up on you guys."
"It hasn’t even been ten minutes," Ellie scoffed, "You just wanted to get out of morning track."
Dina dramatically gasped, placing her hand on her chest, "I would never!"
The nurse stood up abruptly, the creak of her chair making a loud noise. She quickly made her way over to Abby, not even informing you that she finished patching you up.
“Good morning, Abby," the nurse acknowledged. Standing beside her, the nurse seemed small in comparison. "It’s not very appropriate to be..." The nurse gently poked Abby's stomach, the warmth of her skin along her fingertip, "shirtless."
Dina nudged you and Ellie's, her gaze towards Abby and the nurse. A knowing look passed between the three of you.
“Oh, I apologize..” Abby responded, her gaze shifting to a place you didn’t noticed before. Instead of meeting the nurse's eyes, Abby's attention seemed to wander lower, down to her breasts.
The nurse let out a soft chuckle, her hips swaying slightly as she spoke. "I’ll have this washed for you as soon as possible. In the meantime, you should wear something else."
Abby nodded, her gaze lingering on the nurse, “I’ll come pick it up.”
"Um,” Ellie blurted out, "Are we excused?"
The nurse sighed, her attention now diverted from Abby to Ellie. "Yes, Ellie..."
"But you haven't done anything for my knee," Ellie continued
In response, the nurse quickly rummaged through her pockets, retrieving a band-aid. With a swift motion, she tossed it towards Ellie. The band-aid flew through the air, hitting Ellie's face before landing in her hands. "There," the nurse said annoyed.
Dina couldn't help but snicker, though she tried to stifle her laughter by covering her mouth with her hands. You playfully slapped Dina's arm, silently urging her to keep her composure, before you burst into laughter too.
───
"Hey, Ab's," Dina said, walking alongside you and Ellie, with Ellie still limping and Abby leading the way. You all were heading back to your dorm after visiting the nurse, preparing to change for cooking classes.
"We know you're screwing the nurse, but could you at least be more discreet?" Dina said, slapping Abby's back.
"She came onto me first," Abby excused, stretching her neck and tilting her head back.
"Yeah, but you were giving her googly eyes!" Dina accused, a look of disgust on her face.
"What does that even mean!?" Abby snapped, turning to face all three of you, noticing the discomfort written across your faces.
"It means your shit went crosseyed," Ellie said, pointing her fingers in two different directions.
Abby rolled her eyes, "whatever."
"It was a little odd," you chimed in, "the nurse being all 'oh Abby~'."
Dina and Ellie snickered at your mocking of the nurse. "She was all 'Abby, please walk in with your pants off next~'," Dina said, pitching her voice higher as she imitated the nurse, making the three of you snicker louder.
Ellie slapped Abby's back, "You were all 'Oh, please, Ms. Nurse! Flash me a tit!'.”
Ellie's comment sent you and Dina into bursts of laughter, your bodies shaking as you clutched your stomachs, struggling to catch your breaths.
"Yeah, yeah, laugh all you want!" Abby said, her tone clearly irritated. "At least I’m getting some action."
"From the fucking nurse!" Ellie jabbed, her smirk widening as she continued to provoke Abby. "Who’s next? The director?"
Suddenly, with a forceful shove, Abby pushed Ellie, a clear sign of her growing annoyance.
"Aw, Can’t take a little teasing?" Ellie taunted, her smirk now a mischievous grin.
Abby's fists clenched at her sides, her jaw tight with frustration, but she remained silent, shooting a piercing glare at Ellie.
"Guess I’m not the pussy after all," Ellie remarked smugly.
As tensions peaked, you and Dina exchanged glances, silently debating whether to intervene.
“Fuck off.” Abby's voice filled with anger as she shoved Ellie harder, the force almost knocking her off balance.
Ellie's response was quick, her frustration boiling over. "You wanna go!?" she yelled
"Fucking swing then!" Ellie taunted, her fists clenched as she assumed a fighting stance, daring Abby to make a move.
You quickly hid behind Dina, not willing to take any chances this time.
"Are they always like this?" you asked, peeking out from behind Dina's shoulder.
“Unfortunately..” Dina sighed, crossing her arms “But it’s entertaining!’
Abby raised her fist to strike Ellie, but before she could land the blow, impulse made Ellie act first. With a quick, instinctual movement, Ellie threw her fist forward, her face scrunched up in fear. The impact was sudden, causing Dina to yelp in surprise, and you to flinch.
Ellie's eyes widened in shock. "Holy shit..." she muttered, her voice filled with disbelief.
Abby stumbled backward, a pained groan escaping her lips as she covered her eye. "Argh...fuck!" she cursed.
Frozen in place, Ellie's expression shifted to concern. She never actually struck Abby before. “Was I too rough?" she asked.
Abby let out a soft chuckle. "It's definitely going to leave a bruise," she admitted, surprised at Ellie's unexpected boldness.
Suddenly, Dina's urgency grabbed everyone's attention. "Guys, guys!" she exclaimed, her tone excited, "The director's window is open!"
All three of you snapped your necks to find the director's window open, a rare occurrence. She was known for her strictness and privacy, so it was very unusual.
"Come on, come on!" Dina urged, pulling your arm and gesturing toward Abby and Ellie. With a sense of urgency, she led the way, moving swiftly yet quietly towards the window. As it approached, Dina crouched down, motioning for you all to follow.
The four of you huddled under the window's ledge, your backs pressed against the brick wall. Your chests heaving from the sudden dash.
Dina slowly turned and poked her head to see inside, motioning for the three of you to do the same.
The director sat at her desk, her back to the window, giving you a clear view of her workspace. She opened a drawer, but It wasn't just any drawer; it was where the director kept all the confiscated items. From it, she pulled out a porn magazine, specifically one only featuring women.
“Holy shit, I haven’t seen that in ages!” Abby whispered.
“It’s yours?” you asked, your voice low.
Abby nodded, “They confiscated it a month ago, they found it under my pillow.”
The director began flipping through the pages, propping her legs up on the desk. Each turn of the page revealed a new image. The four of you stared wide-eyed, silently observing and admiring each page as it unfolded before your eyes. The glossy images of women in different positions, their curves accentuated and their gazes sensual.
"Noo, turn back!" Dina whispered urgently, disappointed that the director moved on to the next page.
"Wow, I didn’t even know you could stretch it out like that," you commented, tilting your head slightly to get a better view of the new image before you.
"Fuck, I wonder what else is in there," Abby questioned, her gaze now fixed on the drawer.
“Oh my god!” Dina's eyes lit up with excitement, “Maybe my vibrator’s in there!”
"Or my finger condoms!" Ellie chimed in, causing all of you to quickly turn and give her strange looks, your faces a mix of confusion and surprise.
"What?" Dina asked, her expression concerned
“My... finger... condoms...” Ellie muttered, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
“You don’t just go in raw?” Abby teased, a smirk creeping on her lips.
Ellie shifted uncomfortably, “It’s for realism..”
“Realism my fucking ass!” you chuckled, unable to hold back your amusement.
“dude thinks her fingers might ejaculate,” Abby snickered, quickly covering her mouth to stifle her laughter.
“Her ass is not getting someone pregnant,” Dina chimed in, joining in on the laughter with the rest of you.
The laughter echoed a little too loudly, quickly catching the attention of the director. She swiftly got up from her chair, quickly shoving the magazine back into the drawer. Her footsteps approaching.
"LADIES!" the director yelled, her head now poking out of the window.
"Oh shit!" Dina exclaimed, her eyes widening in panic. She quickly scrambled to her feet, grabbing your arm in a tight grip. "Sorry! Sorry!" she yelled, her voice filled with urgency as she began to run, pulling you along with her.
You stumbled a bit but managed to keep pace, feeling the sudden adrenaline. Dina signaled and yelled for Abby and Ellie to run as well, urgency in her voice as you all dashed away.
───
The four of you quickly made it to your dorm, your hearts pounding as you shut the door behind you, panting heavily. Giggles erupted among the four of you as you exchanged amused glances.
But the moment was short-lived as the door suddenly burst open, causing you all to jump in surprise. The director stood in the doorway, her expression stern.
"Ladies, care to explain what you were doing outside my office window?"! she demanded, her voice sharp with authority.
The four of you exchanged nervous glances, unsure of how to respond.
"We were just, uh, getting some fresh air," Dina stammered, trying to come up with an excuse on the spot.
The director arched her eyebrow, clearly not buying Dina’s explanation. She crossed her arms over her chest, her gaze scanning each of you.
"Fresh air, hmm?" she repeated, her tone sarcastic. "Well, next time you decide to get some 'fresh air,' make sure it doesn't involve spying on me through my office window!”
"I'm very disappointed in you ladies!" the director yelled, her voice vibrating through the room. "That's a strike for every single one of you!!"
"You're on your 3rd one, Ellie! One more and you're out!" the director continued, her tone firm.
Ellie's heart sank as the director called her out, She swallowed hard, trying not to snap at her.
"I expected better from all of you," the director said, her voice tinged with disappointment. "Men do not like sneaky women.”
The four of you exchanged glances.
"Now get ready for cooking classes," the director commanded, her tone softer but no less authoritative. "You have ten minutes," her gaze swept over the room. "The four of you better know how to shower quickly. Let me not find out you're late."
With that, the director turned her heels and exited the dorm, the sound of her clicking heels fading into the distance. The dorm fell into a heavy silence as the realization of being caught sank in for the four of you.
"So...you guys want to shower together to save time?" dina suggested.
Abby, Ellie, and you turned to look at her, your expressions a mix of annoyance and disbelief.
"Too gay?" she asked.
But I'm a Lesbian! pt.3
ellie x abby x dina x fem!reader a/n: a shorter chapter! But I promise chapter 4 will definitely be longer! anyways, enjoy angels! 💗
→ Part one! → Part two! → Part four! → Part five! → Part six!

Suddenly, like a starting gun had been fired, the four of you sprang into action. It was a dash to the showers, with elbows bumping and bodies jostling as you all struggled to be the first one in.
Abby, with her speed and strength, managed to dart ahead, closely followed by Ellie. You and Dina were neck and neck, both determined not to be left behind. In the chaos, you stumbled over each other's feet, arms flailing as you tried to maintain your balance.
"Watch it!" Ellie grumbled as she tried regaining her balance.
Eventually, you all reached the showers, each claiming a stall with exhaustion. The sound of rushing water filled the air as you quickly stripped off your clothes and stepped into the warmth.
With only a few minutes to spare, you all hurriedly scrubbed yourselves clean, trying to make every second count.
“Fuck! Does anyone have shampoo?!" Ellie yelled, shaking her empty bottle in frustration.
"I do!" you exclaimed, quickly grabbing your shampoo bottle and rushing over to Ellie's stall.
Ellie's eyes widened seeing you approach, her initial reaction being to dart her gaze away, her face turning a deep shade of red.
fuckk..you were naked.
Without hesitation, you squeezed a generous amount of shampoo into her waiting hand.
“t-thanks..” Ellie stammered, her voice slightly shaky.
"I think I need some too~," Dina purred, her voice flirtatious, waving her hand dramatically as if in desperate need.
"Shit, me too!" Abby chimed in, her head popping out of her stall, trying to catch sight of you.
"You're both so unoriginal," Ellie grumbled, rolling her eyes in annoyance.
"I'll be right there!" you replied, turning around to share shampoo with Abby and Dina.
Ellie's gaze lingered on you for a moment, eyeing the way your hips swayed, the curves of your body traced by droplets of water. The softness of your skin, illuminating in a soft glow. There was a certain beauty in your movements, a grace that captured her attention.
She craved to discover it.
───
Soon enough, you found yourselves in the cooking classroom, greeted by the aroma of various ingredients. Rows of kitchen stations awaited, each equipped with utensils, pots, and pans.
The teacher, a seasoned chef, greeted the four of you. “Hello, ladies! Today, we'll be making some classic breakfast dishes," she announced.
"It's important to start every day with a nutritious meal, especially for your husband," she added with a wink.
The four of you blankly stared at her.
The teacher clapped her hands, signaling the start of the cooking session. "Right then! Chop, chop!"
"Just follow my lead," Dina reassured, playfully smacking your ass before guiding you to the station next to hers.
Ellie took charge of cracking eggs, her movements precise and efficient. Abby occupied the stove, flipping pancakes with a flick of her wrist.
Dina always experimented with different ingredients, adding a dash of spice here and there to enhance the flavors. As for you, your focus was on whipping up a batch of fluffy scrambled eggs, gently stirring them in a skillet.
"Here," Dina said, pausing her tasks and stepping behind you, "You'll hurt your wrist if you do it like that."
She gently took hold of your hand, her touch delicate yet firm. Her fingertips tracing along your skin, leaving a trail of warmth. As she leaned closer, her chest pressed against your back, you could feel the heat radiating from her body.
Your palms grew moist with sweat, and a slight tremble ran through your fingers. Flustered, you struggled to maintain composure, your cheeks warming with a faint blush.
"Oh," you murmured, turning to meet her gaze, "thank you."
Dina smiled warmly. "You’re so cutee!!" she remarked, pulling you into a tight hug. "Marry mee!!”
Just then, the cooking instructor approached Abby, “Abby, the nurse needs you,"
Abby glanced up from her station, faking a face of concern. "What for?" she asked, wiping her hands on her apron.
The teacher shrugged. "I'm not sure, but she sounded urgent. You better go check."
"Alright," she nodded at the instructor before turning to the rest of you. "Catch you later, guys," she said with a smirk.
The three of you exchanged knowing glances.
"Mhm.." Dina remarked, her tone suspicious.
───
Thud!
With a forceful slam, the nurse's back collided with the wall, a small whimper escaping her lips as Abby pressed her against it. The nurse's eyes widened in surprise, her breath hitching as she felt Abby's strong grip on her wrists.
Abby leaned in closer, her voice low and seductive. "You’re so fucking impatient.." she whispered, her breath warm against the nurse's ear.
The nurse's cheeks flushed crimson, excitement coursing through her veins. She struggled to find her words, her heart pounding in her chest. Before she could respond, Abby's lips crashed against hers in a hungry kiss, sending a surge of pleasure. The nurse squeezed her thighs together, her hands reaching up to tangle in Abby's hair.
As their lips parted, the nurse's breath came out in ragged gasps, her eyes glazed with desire. "I-I needed you," she admitted, her voice barely a whisper.
Abby flashed her a grin, her eyes burning with desire. "fuckk…" she murmured, trailing kisses along the nurse's neck. “Let's see how long you last this time."
───
Dina leaned in with a mischievous glint in her eye. “I've been thinking," she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sizzling of the stove.
You and Ellie exchanged curious glances, waiting for Dina to continue.
"We should sneak into the director's office tonight and steal back our stuff," Dina proposed, a smirk plastered on her lips.
Ellie crossed her arms, her expression firm. "Fuck no."
"What?! Why not?" Dina whined, clearly disappointed.
Ellie sighed, "I'm already three strikes down,"
"We won't get caught if we plan it!" Dina insisted, nudging Ellie's arm.
You nodded in agreement with Dina, "She's right, Ellie," you chimed in, "We'll plan it out and make sure everything goes smoothly. We won't leave any evidence behind."
Ellie raised an eyebrow, surprised by your willingness to participate.
"Come onn, El's!" Dina groaned, "Don't you want your finger—"
"Okay!" Ellie interrupted, cutting Dina off before subjecting her to more teasing. "But you owe me a pack of cigarettes.." she huffed in annoyance.
Dina grinned. "deal!" she replied cheerfully.
A sudden small buzzing sound caught Ellie's attention, a tickle on her right shoulder. She glanced over to see a pesky fly.
"Don't move," you whispered urgently, eyeing the fly.
Dina, sensing an opportunity, slowly raised her hand, ready to swat the fly. But just as she made her move, the fly darted away, escaping her grasp.
"Damn it!" Dina exclaimed in frustration, waving her hand through the air attempting to catch it.
The fly continued to buzz around the kitchen. Ellie, determined to get rid of it, swatted at the air wildly. You, too, joined in the frenzy, swinging a dish towel in an attempt to kill it.
“Don’t let it land on the food!” Dina urged.
In your frantic attempts to catch the fly, bottles of oil and water were knocked over, creating a slippery mess on the floor. Ellie, caught off guard by the slick surface, slipped and crashed to the ground with a loud thud.
“Argh! Damn it!” Ellie groaned in pain.
Meanwhile, your efforts caused water to splash onto a cooking pot, leading to a sudden burst of sizzling oil that sent you yelping in pain.
“Ouch!” you shouted, stumbling back and landing on top of ellie.
Amidst the chaos, everyone momentarily forgot about the bacon, sizzling on the hot stove. It was beginning to burn, filling the kitchen with thick smoke that billowed up toward the ceiling.
“Hey guys,” Dina called out amidst the commotion, “Something’s burning..”
Abby walked back into the kitchen, disheveled with lipstick marks scattered across her neck. “Hey guys, I’m back...” her voice trailed off.
She stood frozen for a moment, taking in the utter chaos that had unfolded while she was gone.
Ellie was still on the floor, rubbing her bruised body, while Dina was frantically trying to clean up the spilled oil and water, her clothes stained and her hair in disarray. Whilst frantically trying to dodge splattering oil from the pot. You were scrambling to turn off the stove, desperately trying to salvage whatever remained of the bacon.
“What the fuck happened?!” Abby exclaimed, slowly walking over
Before anyone could respond, the sprinkler system activated, sending gushes of water down from the ceiling. Abby stood frozen in shock as she was drenched by the downpour, her already disheveled appearance now completely soaked.
The kitchen descended into madness as everyone scrambled to avoid the flood of water, slipping and sliding on the now-slippery floor. Ellie let out a frustrated groan, while Dina cursed loudly, and you desperately tried to shield the food from the onslaught of water.
Abby shook her head in disbelief, “I should’ve just stayed for round two..”

"Got your cigs!”
With a swift motion, Dina tossed the pack across the room, aiming for Ellie’s bed but missing. The box made contact with Ellie's face with a resounding thud, prompting a groan of pain from her.
"Ow!! What the fuck?" Ellie gtoaned, rubbing her sore cheek.
Dina rolled her eyes, settling herself on your bed with a snack in hand. The room was now dimly lit, the only illumination coming from a small desk lamp in the corner.
You laid on your bed, staring up at the ceiling. Meanwhile, Ellie was reclined on her stomach with an ice pack on her ass. Abby sat perched on the edge of Ellie's bed, eyeing the cigarettes.
"Pass me one," Abby requested, gesturing towards Ellie.
Ellie, cigarette already between her lips, shook her head. "No."
"Aw, come onn," Abby urged, throwing her head back in frustration.
Ellie remained firm, clutching the box. "Get your own."
Abby reached for a cigarette, but Ellie swiftly slapped her hand away. "Dude!"
"One won't hurt!" Abby argued, her tone becoming more insistent.
Ellie's grip tightened on the cigarette box. "fuck off."
Growing impatient, Abby's hand hovered menacingly over Ellie's bruised ass. "I swear, Ellie, I'll do it."
Ellie shot a warning glance over her shoulder, her eyes narrowing at the threat. She began to squirm, trying to avoid Abby's hand. "I fucking said no!"
Dina couldn't help but snicker. "Come onn, just give her one."
"Your last chance el’s." Abby persisted, her hand slowly lowering towards ellie’s ass.
"Seriously, Abby," Ellie cautioned, “Don’t fucking do it."
Suddenly, Abby's hand descended forcefully, delivering a sharp and stinging slap. Ellie couldn't help but let out a yelp of pain, her body tensing at the sudden impact.
With a smirk playing on her lips, Abby swiftly grabbed Ellie's legs and pulled them towards her, snatching the cigarette box from her grasp. With a satisfied grin, she retrieved one and lit it up, enjoying her victory.
"Damnn," dina remarked with a grin
Ellie shot Abby a glare, rubbing her stinging ass cheek, while Abby leaned back with a satisfied expression, puffing on her cigarette.
Suddenly, you were starting to feel overwhelmed. Panic began to bubble up inside you, and you couldn't shake the feeling that this place was too chaotic, too unpredictable.
"I-I..need to get out of here," you muttered, your voice trembling with anxiety. "This place is fucking crazy! Everyone's just...a bunch of horny, depraved lesbians!"
Abby snapped her fingers in front of you, "woah, woah, woah! I am NOT depraved,"
“Me neither!” Dina chimed in with a smirk. “I fingered a girl on Ellie’s bed last month!”
Ellie's expression shifted to one of disbelief. "Dude, what the hell!?" she exclaimed.
With a cheeky smile, Dina shrugged. “You didn’t even notice the squirt stain,” she teased.
Ellie let out a disgusted groan, burying her face in her hands.
"Come on, give me a break," Dina snickered. "It was the most action your bed had seen in months."
As You continued to pace, your mind raced with thoughts of escape and confusion. "This is insane," you muttered, running your hand through your hair. “It’s only my first night here! How the actual fuck has so much shit happened?!”
Dina walked towards you, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. "Hey, hey, calm down," she said soothingly, trying to steady your frantic pacing. "It's not that bad here."
You gestured to your nose, which was still sore from the earlier. " how the fuck am I supposed to eat someone out with a broken nose?!" you exclaimed, “I can’t even have a little action out here!”
Abby let out a chuckle "I'm sure we can find a way to work around it," she said smirkingly.
You scoffed walking towards her, swiftly taking the cigarette from her grasp and inhaling deeply. Taking a long drag, you felt a bit calmer as the smoke filled your lungs. Sitting down, your leg bounced anxiously as you tried to calm your nerves.
Ellie, still recovering from the slap on her ass, sat up with a wince of pain. She placed a comforting hand on your back, offering a soothing gesture. "Hey, if…” she suggested. "If you help us steal our stuff back...we'll help you escape."
Her words sparked a glimmer of hope in your mind, a potential solution to your growing unease. You nodded slowly, considering the offer.
Ellie leaned forward, her eyes gleaming “We'll wait until late at night when everyone's asleep. Then, we'll sneak into the director's office, find our confiscated items, and make a run for it. Simplee"
Abby let out a scoff, shaking her head in disbelief. "That's your plan? Sneak into the director's office like a bunch of amateurs and hope for the best? No way."
Ellie's brows furrowed. "What's your fucking plan, then?"
Abby flashed a confident grin. "We need to create a distraction. Something big enough to draw everyone's attention away from us"
You perked up, intrigued by Abby's suggestion. "But what kind of distraction?"
Abby's smirk widened. "How about a fire? We start a small one in the courtyard, nothing too serious, just enough to set off the alarms and send everyone into a panic. While they're busy dealing with that, we slip away unnoticed."
Ellie raised an eyebrow. "Too damn risky. What if it gets out of control?"
Abby waved off her concerns. "We'll make sure it's under control. Trust me, it'll work.”
"Okay, that solves the sneaking issue," you said, contemplating the plan. "But what about my escape?"
Dina's eyes lit up with excitement. "You can steal the director's car!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands together. "That way, she won't be able to chase after you."
You raised an eyebrow at Dina's suggestion. "Steal the director's car? Are you serious?"
Dina nodded. "duhh!"
"But how do I even get the keys?" you asked.
Abby smirked, her eyes gleaming mischievously. "Leave that to me."

The darkness enveloped the four of you as you crept towards the main building, where the director's office was. Abby, taking the lead, signaled for the rest of you to follow.
"Hurry your ass over here," Dina whispered harshly as she motioned for Ellie to pick up the pace.
Ellie, walking slower than the rest due to the pain in her ass, gritted her teeth in frustration. "I'm fucking trying!" she snapped back at Dina in a hushed tone.
The four of you reached the window of the director's office. The dim moonlight illuminated the glass pane, casting shadows across the room. Abby motioned for everyone to crouch down, keeping out of sight. The building was eerily quiet, with only the faint sound of crickets chirping in the distance.
"Alright," she whispered, "We need to be quick and quiet. Once we're inside, find our stuff and…maybee grab anything else that looks fun."
Dina nodded eagerly, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "I’ve been eyeing this statue the director has.." she whispered back, her heart pumping with thrill.
Ellie's brows furrowed in concern. "We can't just steal," she protested, "If we get caught, we'll be in even bigger-."
Dina let out an exaggerated groan, rolling her eyes. "Booo!" she exclaimed, throwing her thumbs down in disappointment.
Abby joined in, nudging Ellie gently. "Come on, El's," she urged. "One little souvenir won't hurt."
"Exactly," you chimed in, "If you’re going to risk it all to get those damn finger condoms, you might as well make it worth a while."
Ellie sighed, feeling outnumbered, “I hate it here.”
Abby turned back to the window, her fingers reaching out to test the latch. With a silent click, the window slid open. She gestured for everyone to follow her lead as she slipped inside, her movements swift.
One by one, you each climbed through the window, careful not to make a sound.
With a grunt, Ellie retrieved her lighter, flicking it on to provide more light. The warm glow spread across the room.
As the light revealed the drawer, you all realized that it was now locked.
"Aw, shit," Ellie grumbled, scratching her head.
Dina crouched down to get a closer look, examining the lock. "Fuck, she must have put this on after she caught us," she muttered, her brows furrowed.
"It's a big-ass lock too," Abby remarked, tapping the metal with her knuckles.
"I think I can lockpick it," Dina said, her eyes lighting up.
You quickly rummaged through your hair and pulled out a bobby pin. "Here," you say, handing it to Dina.
"Ellie, give me more light," Dina instructed, yanking Ellie's arm.
Ellie adjusted her position to shine the light more directly on the drawer. The beam of light flickered across the metal surface. With more light, Dina carefully inserted the bobby pin into the lock.
As Dina focused on unlocking the drawer, Abby's curiosity led her to explore the office. Her eyes landing on a nude statue nestled in the corner.
Abby's face lit up with excitement as she approached it. It was crafted from smooth, white marble, capturing feminine beauty in detail. The woman depicted had graceful curves, her pose seductive.
"Oh, fuck yeah," Abby murmured as she reached out to touch the cool surface of the statue. With a grunt, she lifted it from its place and carried it over to where the rest of you were gathered.
Ellie's eyebrows shot up in surprise as she watched Abby's. "What the fuck are you doing?" she questioned.
Abby set the statue down in front of the group with a grin. "Woaahh, No." Dina exclaimed, "I already called dibs on it.”
"But I found it, soo it's mine," Abby argued, crossing her arms.
Dina's eyes narrowed,. "But I fucking called dibs first! That means it's mine."
Ellie groaned. "Can we get our shit back first-”
"El’s, you have no pussy to run to," Dina snapped, “Your finger bullshit can wait!”
Click-clack click-clack.
The sudden click of heels echoed, sending a jolt of panic through the four of you. Abby scrambled to pick up the statue, her hands trembling slightly as she tried to place it back in its original spot. Meanwhile, Dina, Ellie, and you hurriedly ducked behind the desk, your heartbeats pounding in your ears.
"Hurry up, Abs!" You whispered urgently, your eyes darting nervously towards the approaching sound of footsteps.
With a fumbling motion, Abby attempted to set the statue down quietly, but her nerves got the best of her, and it slipped from her grasp, crashing onto the floor with a loud thud. The noise echoed in the silent room, causing all four of you to freeze in fear.
"Ohhh fuckk…" Abby groaned under her breath, her eyes widening.
The sound of approaching footsteps quickened, the clicking of heels grew louder and more urgent.
Abby's heart raced as she frantically tried to pick up the fallen statue, her hands trembling with nervousness. But her efforts were interrupted by the sudden appearance of the nurse standing at the doorway, her expression a mix of surprise and confusion.
"Anderson?" the nurse asked, her eyebrows furrowing.
Abby's mind raced, "Oh, uh, hey," she stammered, attempting to act nonchalant but failing miserably.
The nurse's gaze shifted from Abby to the statue on the floor, her confusion deepening. "What're you doing?" she questioned, stepping closer to get a better look.
Abby's heart pounded in her chest as she desperately tried to think of a convincing response. "Um, I-I was just looking...for..uh.." she trailed off.
The nurse made a move to enter the room, but Abby quickly stepped in her way, blocking her path. "Um, you! Yeah, I-I was looking for.. uh you," she blurted out, her words coming out in a rushed and jumbled mess.
The nurse raised an eyebrow at Abby's explanation. "You were looking for me... in the director's office?" Her tone suspicious.
Abby felt a bead of sweat form on her brow as she realized the nurse wasn't buying her story. "Fuck um..." she muttered under her breath.
The nurse attempted to step past Abby once more, but Abby instinctively moved to block her again. "What is going on with you?"
Abby's mind raced as she struggled to come up with a response. "Nothing, it's nothing," she insisted, her voice tinged with nervousness. "Just... Can you go?"
The nurse's patience was thin, "What the fuck are you hiding?!" she demanded.
A sudden sneeze echoed through the room, the nurse's suspicion escalated to a new level. Her eyes narrowed with accusation. "Are you screwing someone!?" she snapped, her voice sharp with disbelief.
Abby's heart raced but before she could respond, the nurse pushed past her, flicking on the light switch. "No, no, no!" Abby protested, reaching out in an attempt to stop her.
But it was too late. The nurse stood at the desk, her eyes widening in shock as she took in the sight of the three of you hidden behind it.
Dina's nervous wave only seemed to intensify the nurse's shock. She took a step back, her eyes wide with disbelief. "You were screwing THREE OF THEM!?!" she exclaimed.
The three of you scrambled to your feet, "I would fucking never.” Ellie snapped , rubbing her sore ass from sitting on the floor for so long.
Abby attempted to grab the nurse's hand,. "It's not what you think-"
But the nurse shook off Abby's grasp. She quickly made her way to the doorway, trying to exit the room, but Abby cut her off, still trying to reason with her. "Please, just let me explain-"
"I'm reporting all of you!" the nurse declared firmly.
"Fuck, you can't-" Abby began, but her words were cut off by a sudden thud. The nurse's grip on the doorframe loosened, and she collapsed to the floor, unconscious.
"Oh my fucking god!" Ellie jolted, her eyes wide with alarm.
You swung a heavy book at the nurse, hitting her in the head. The three girls turned to look at you, their expressions shocked.
"What?!" you exclaimed defensively. "She was going to snitch!"
"Shit!" Abby cursed, dropping to her knees beside the unconscious nurse.
"We have to hide her!" Dina urged, scanning the room for a suitable hiding spot.
Ellie glanced at the clock, her heart racing with anxiety. "Guys, we need to fucking hurry! The director will do her checkup rounds soon!"
"Fuck!" Abby grumbled, frustration in her tone. "Okay, change of plans.”
The three of you turned to look at Abby, "Me and Dina will hide the nurse and get our belongings," she instructed. She then turned to Ellie and you. “You two will have to start the fire."
"You're seriously pairing me up with sore booty?!" you groaned.
But I'm a Lesbian! pt.6

You and Ellie hurried through the dark hallways, The darkness of the night was cold, the moon casting long shadows on the ground. The only sounds were the distant chirping of crickets and the occasional rustling of leaves. Your footsteps were careful, almost soundless, but your whispers broke the silence.
“You should start the fire,” you said, glancing nervously around to make sure no one was nearby.
“Me? Why me?” Ellie snapped back in a whisper, wincing slightly from the pain in her asscheek.
“Because you’ve got the lighter!” you argued, trying to keep your voice low.
Ellie shook her head, “And you have hands! It’s not rocket science. Just light it up and run.”
"Seriously, I shouldn't be the one starting it," you argued. "If something goes wrong, I don't want to be the one to blame.”
Ellie snapped back, "And you think I do? This is your mess too!"
"Ugh! Why do you have to argue with everything?" you exclaimed in a harsh whisper.
Ellie scoffed, "What are you talking about?"
"You're always disagreeing or instigating something," you shot back. "Shit, it's the reason for most of your fits with Abby! Which, by the way, there's clearly some gay-ass tension between you two..."
Ellie rolled her eyes. "Seriously?! You want to talk about this now? We wouldn't even BE doing this if someone didn't kill the fucking nurse!"
You gasped, feeling a pang of guilt. "I didn't kill her!... At least I don't think I did... fuck! I hope I didn't!!"
Ellie scoffed again, her tone sharp. "If that blow didn't kill her, then a permanent coma is her best bet."
You sighed in relief, "I don't need charges on my record so soon... I still need to commit—wait, wait, wait! Don't fucking change the subject! What's the animosity with Abby?!"
Ellie shot you a look. "What's with the questions all of a sudden?!"
"I need answers to all the crazy shit you've all put me through! Like, how did the nurse and Abby even happen? Why is the director of a conversion camp a closeted lesbian? And why is Dina the only somewhat normal person here—"
Before you could finish, Ellie swiftly covered your mouth with her hand, her eyes burning with intensity. "You're... insufferable," she said, her voice tinged with frustration. "From the moment you stepped foot into our dorm, you've been aggravating."
You blinked, taken aback by her sudden outburst. Ellie's face was close to yours, her gaze unwavering. "I was doing so well," she continued, her voice strained. "I had everything under control, focusing on my tasks, keeping my composure. And yet, you came along and ruined it all."
"You've taken over my mind. Suddenly every thought I have is centered around you. I can’t focus on something without needing to gaze at you." Ellie muttered, her voice softer now, almost pleading. "You've completely thrown me off balance."
You could see the conflict in her eyes, the struggle between wanting to push you away and needing to be close to you. Your eyes widened . Ellie’s words sank in, and you could feel the heat rising in your cheeks. You mumbled something against her hand, and she slowly let it go.
"If you were having gay panic, you should've just said so," you said, half-teasing.
A sudden light illuminated the nearby path, casting long shadows across the courtyard. The director was doing her rounds, her flashlight sweeping from side to side. Ellie reacted instantly, grabbing your arm and pulling you down into the bushes. You both crouched low, trying to steady your breathing as the director's footsteps grew closer.
"Shit," Ellie whispered, her grip on your arm tightening. "We need to stay quiet."
You nodded, your heart pounding in your chest. The director's light passed dangerously close, the beam brushing the edges of the bushes where you hid. You could hear her muttering to herself, something about the nurse not being at her station. Ellie glanced at you, her eyes wide.
The light paused, and you both held your breath, the world seeming to freeze around you. The director's footsteps resumed, moving away from your hiding spot. You exhaled slowly, feeling a rush of relief.
"That was close," you whispered, glancing at Ellie.
You both stayed hidden for a few more moments, ensuring the director was far enough away. Then, cautiously, Ellie peeked out from the bushes, scanning the area. "Alright, she's gone. Let's move."
You both emerged from your hiding spot, hearts still racing. The courtyard was silent again, the only sound being the faint rustle of leaves in the breeze. Ellie took your hand, leading you toward the designated spot for starting the fire.
"Okay," Ellie whispered, her eyes darting around "We need to fucking hurry."
You nodded, your nerves on edge. "I'll keep watch. You start the fire."
Ellie shot you a look. "Alright."
She set to work, gathering some dry leaves and twigs, her movements quick and precise. You kept watch, scanning the courtyard for any signs of movement. The tension was suffocating, every rustle of the wind making you jump.
Ellie fumbled with the lighter, her fingers trembling slightly as she tried to strike a flame. The lighter jammed, and she cursed under her breath, shaking it and trying again. "Come on, damn it!"
You stood next to her, nervously glancing around. "Hurry up, Ellie! The director could come back any second!"
"I'm trying!" Ellie snapped back, shaking the lighter vigorously. "This piece of shit isn't working!"
The two of you exchanged heated words, the stress of the situation making it hard to stay calm. "Why isn't it working?" you hissed, your anxiety spiking.
Ellie pulled it away, her eyes flashing with irritation. "I've got it! Just give me a second!"
Just as you were about to respond, the lighter finally sparked to life. Ellie quickly brought it to the pile of dry leaves and twigs, the tiny flame catching and starting to grow. But before she could fully ignite the pile, the director's flashlight beam swept across the courtyard again, heading straight for you.
"Come on, let's go!" Ellie grabbed your hand, pulling you away from the scene. In her rush, she accidentally kicked a burning stick near the edge of the building. Flames began to lick at the wooden structure, spreading rapidly.
You and Ellie ran toward the forest, hearts pounding, not daring to look back until you were safely hidden among the trees. Breathless, you both turned to see the building catching fire, the flames climbing higher.
"Uh, Ellie," you said, staring at the growing blaze.
Ellie followed your gaze, her expression shifting from shock to disbelief. "Well, shit,"

"Hold her legs up higher!" Abby grunted, struggling with the weight.
"I'm trying!" Dina hissed back, sweat beading on her forehead.
The two of them wrestled with the nurse's limp form, trying to fit her into the cramped space. Abby pushed, and Dina pulled, both of them gritting their teeth with the effort.
"Okay, almost there," Abby said, maneuvering the nurse's arm inside. "Just a little more."
Dina adjusted the nurse's legs, finally managing to tuck them in. The cabinet door barely closed, the nurse's fingers still visible through the gap.
"Shit, that’s not gonna work," Dina muttered, eyeing the barely shut door.
"We don't have time," Abby said, her tone urgent. "We need to get our stuff and get out of here..”
Dina nodded, moving quickly to the drawer they had been trying to unlock. "The nurse had the keys, right?"
Abby reached into the nurse's pocket, pulling out a small set of keys. "Fuck yeah."
Abby tossed the keys to Dina, but in the rush, Dina fumbled the catch, and the keys fell to the ground with a metallic clink. Dina scrambled to pick them up, her hands shaking . At that exact moment, a loud crash echoed. Abby turned to see the nurse's body come flying out of the cabinet, landing face down on the floor.
"Oh, you've got to be kidding me," Abby groaned in frustration.
"Sooo, I know this isn't the most perfect time to ask this but.." Dina glanced at Abby who was holding the limp body over her shoulder.
"Just ask," Abby replied, her tone strained with the effort of holding the nurse's body.
Dina took a deep breath. "Do you think after all this, you and Ellie could reconcile?"
Abby's brows furrowed in surprise. "What?"
"Everything that happened with Cat, Ab's," Dina continued.
Abby furrowed her brows, "It wasn't that serious with Cat, alright? We were just having fun. And besides, Cat just wasn't the one for ellie."
Dina let out an exasperated sigh. "Imagine how Ellie felt walking in on you giving her crush mind-blowing backshots with another bitch suffocating on her tits!"
Abby rolled her eyes. "You were that other bitch!"
Dina scoffed, crossing her arms defensively. "Woah, woah, woah! I apologized to Ellie, okay?! I blamed it on the perc and told her that it made me hallucinate!"
Suddenly, the shrill sound of the fire alarm pierced the air.
"Shit, shit, shit," Abby cursed, glancing nervously at the door. "We need to hurry."
Dina's heart raced as she finally managed to open the drawer, revealing their confiscated belongings piled inside. "Got it!" She quickly grabbed their things and stuffed them into her bag, her movements frantic as she tried to gather everything.
"We need to go, now!" Abby urged.
___
You and Ellie sprinted through the forest, branches scratching at your arms and legs as you dodged trees and bushes. The glow of the fire behind you illuminated the night.
Finally, you broke through the tree line and spotted Abby and Dina emerging from the building, looking frazzled but unharmed. They hurried toward you, carrying bags filled with your confiscated belongings.
"We need to fucking leave now!" Ellie gasped for air, glancing back at the burning building. "The director's out here—what the fuck?" She stopped mid-sentence, eyes widening at the sight of the nurse still limp and draped over Abby's shoulder.
Abby adjusted her grip on the nurse, "She wouldn't fit, okay!" Abby said defensively, her voice strained. "I didn't know what else to do!"
Dina, her face flushed with adrenaline, glanced nervously at the approaching flames and the chaos behind them. "Her plump fucking ass would take up half the space!"
“Is she still out?" you asked, looking at the nurse's unconscious form.
Abby nodded, "Yeah, she hasn't woken up yet."
"We need to hide her somewhere," Ellie said, her mind racing. "If the director finds her like this, we'll be fucking screwed."
Dina pointed toward a nearby shed, half-hidden in the shadows. "There! We can hide her in there."
With a collective effort, you all hurried toward the shed, Abby struggling to keep the nurse balanced as you navigated through the forest. Ellie pushed open the creaky door, and you quickly cleared a space inside, shoving old tools and supplies out of the way.
Abby gently laid the nurse down on a pile of rags,"Hopefully no bears chew her alive," Dina said, straightening up and wiping sweat from her brow.
"Yeah, they’d have to chew through the silicone first." abby said.
___
As you continued through the forest, the distant glow of the fire gradually faded, but the urgency to keep moving pressed on. Finally, after what felt like hours, you stumbled upon a small clearing near the edge of the property. There, partially hidden behind some bushes, was the director's car.
"Fuck yeah," Ellie muttered, running her hand over the hood. "This is our way out."
Abby glanced around nervously. "We need to hurry. The director could be anywhere."
Ellie quickly got to work on the car, she pried open the dashboard and began fumbling with the wires. The silence of the night was broken only by the occasional crackle of leaves and distant shouts from the burning building.
Dina kept watch, her eyes darting around. "Come on, Ellie, faster," she urged, her voice tight with anxiety.
"I'm going as fast as I can," Ellie snapped back, her fingers working frantically. "This isn't exactly fucking easy."
Just then, you heard the unmistakable sound of footsteps rapidly approaching.
“You fucking clit sucking lesbians!!” You turned to see the director, flashlight in hand, sprinting toward you, her face a mask of fury.
"Shit! She's coming!" you yelled, panic setting in.
"Why did we let this fucking loser do this intricate ass shit!" Dina yelled.
"Shut up and let me concentrate!" Ellie snapped, her hands shaking as she twisted the last wire.
You all turned to see the director sprinting towards you, her flashlight beam cutting through the darkness.
The engine roared to life just as the director reached the car. Without a second thought, Ellie slammed her foot on the gas pedal. The car lurched forward, the tires kicking up dirt and gravel. The director, caught off guard, tried to jump out of the way but wasn't quick enough. The car clipped her, sending her sprawling to the ground.
"Oh my fucking god!" Dina screamed, turning to look back at the director lying motionless on the ground.
The car skidded to a halt down the road, and the four of you rushed out.
Blood trickled from a gash on the director's forehead, glistening under the dim moonlight. You covered your mouth, a wave of nausea washing over you. "This is why I wanted to escape alone!" you exclaimed, "Whenever I'm with you three, some insane shit happens!"
Dina clutched your arm, "Maybe we can be cellmates!"
Ellie began pacing back and forth, "I need a cigarette. " she said, running a hand through her hair.
Abby, meanwhile, had knelt beside the director. She rifled through the director's pockets, finally pulling out her wallet. "Well, we need money, right?" she said, flipping it open and inspecting it.
"Are you seriously robbing her right now?" Ellie snapped, her eyes wide with disbelief.
Abby stood up, pocketing the wallet. "We can't afford to get caught. If we have to be on the run, we'll need cash."
You felt a rush of frustration. "This is insane. We’re not criminals!"
"Maybe not, but we are now," Abby replied, her tone cold. "We don’t have a choice."
Dina glanced back at the car, her eyes flicking between the director and the vehicle. "We can’t leave her here. Someone will find her, and then they'll trace us."
Ellie stopped pacing and took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. "We need to hide her, at least until we can figure out our next move."
You nodded, feeling the weight of the situation pressing down on you. "Alright, let's move her into the woods, somewhere she won't be easily found."
Together, you and the others carefully lifted the director's unconscious body, moving her off the road and deeper into the forest. The underbrush crackled underfoot as you carried her, the darkness swallowing you up. You finally found a secluded spot, laying her gently on the ground.
"Okay," Abby said, looking around, "this should buy us some time."
Dina sighed heavily, wiping her forehead. "Now what?"
"We get back in the car and keep driving," Ellie said, her voice firm. "We find somewhere to lay low and come up with a plan."
As Ellie started the car, the headlights illuminated a figure standing in the middle of the road. It was another nurse, her eyes wide with shock as she took in the scene."Excuse me, ma'am," Dina yelled out the window, “Where’s the nearest gay bar?"
Hunt.

ellie x fem!reader TW!: mentions of violence and blood. Summary: You were tasked with tracking a female trespasser who has been causing havoc on the WLF, killing numerous soldiers and stealing supplies. It was supposed to be a straightforward surveillance job. You weren't supposed to get caught... a/n: wanted to try a different genre &...I'm kinda obsessed?!?
────── · · · · ──────
As you bolted away, you muttered under your breath, "Fuck, fuck, fuck!" Your heart pounded hard against your chest, making your head feel light and your vision blur at the edges.
The shadows of the dense forest seemed to close in around you, every snap of a twig and rustle of leaves increased your terror.
This wasn’t supposed to happen. She wasn’t supposed to find you! The mission from the WLF had been clear: surveillance Ellie, track her every move, and report back. For days, you’d stayed hidden, watching her every step, radioing in her location, and noting her habits.
Until she fucking caught you.
With shaking hands, you fumbled for the rifle strapped to your back, but your heavy backpack slammed against you with every stride, making it nearly impossible to grab the weapon.
Your breath came in ragged gasps as you sprinted through the forest, twigs and branches clawing at your face and arms like skeletal fingers. The forest around you being a blur of green and brown.
Suddenly, the sharp crack of gunfire echoed throughout the forest, bullets whizzing past you and thudding into the trees. Ellie was firing, her aim deadly and precise. "Goddamnit!" you gasped, terror clawing at your throat. You knew from watching her these past days just how merciless and calculated she was.
You refused to become her next victim.
You risked a glance over your shoulder and saw her slinging her shotgun over her back and drawing a pistol instead. Her movements were quick and stealthy, her eyes gleaming with a predator's intensity.
You pushed yourself harder, your legs burning and lungs screaming for air. The path ahead was treacherous, filled with roots and rocks that seemed to reach up and grab at your feet, trying to trip you. But you couldn’t stop. You couldn’t let her catch you. The memory of the cold, calculating look in her eyes as she took down her previous targets fueled your fear.
Your mind raced, searching for a way out, a place to hide, or something to give you an advantage. But the forest offered no sanctuary, only the relentless pursuit of a hunter and her prey. Your only hope was to keep running, to stay ahead of her just long enough to find a way to escape.
Ellie’s cold eyes pierced through your back, promising death if she caught up. The crack of her pistol shattered the air, a warning shot that whistled past your ear.
"f-fuck!" You gasped, quickly stumbling behind a tree.
Your breath came in ragged gasp as you frantically wrestled your heavy backpack off your shoulders. Your shaking fingers fumbled with the zipper, sending ammo tumbling onto the ground.
"Come onn, come onn," you muttered urgently, trying to steady your trembling hands as you loaded your rifle with bullets. Each click felt like a countdown to your own demise.
Ellie paused, her breath misting in the cold air as she scanned the forest. Her brow furrowed in concentration. The stillness hung heavy, broken only by rustling of leaves. She took a step forward cautiously, senses sharp and eyes darting, searching for any sign of movement or sound.
Your heart hammered in your chest, the sound thumping in your ears like a drumbeat. Your pulse thundered with the realization that she could be closing in, ready to strike. Then, with a sudden burst of courage, you steadied your aim and fired. The shot bounced off a nearby branch, missing Ellie by a hair strand.
“Shit!” She yelled frantically.
Ellie's heart raced as she ducked behind a log, fear surging through her after barely dodging your bullet. She took a moment to steady her breathing, each inhale sharp and quick.
"Damnit!" Her voice was a low growl of frustration mixed with a grudging respect for your skill. "That was close... too fucking close..."
Peering cautiously over the log, Ellie scanned for any hint of movement.
Behind the tree, your pulse thundered in your ears, heightening your senses as you prepared for Ellie's next move. With hands that trembled only slightly, you steadied your aim and squeezed the trigger, the shot echoing loudly.
Ellie reacted with quick reflexes, instinctively ducking as your bullet grazed the air where she had just been. "motherfucker..." Her curse was sharp, frustration fueling her mind.. She couldn't afford any more mistakes.
With a scoff that held a hint of admiration, Ellie retrieved her shotgun from her back, the action smooth and practiced. "I'll play your little game," she muttered darkly to herself, her gaze narrowing with deadly intent.
She carefully cocked the shotgun, the metallic sound slicing the air. Her fingers carefully curled around the trigger.
“I know you're there!" she called out, her voice ringing with command.
Suddenly, a faint rustle caught her attention—a slight to her left. Without hesitation, she swung the shotgun around and fired. The bullet rang through the trees, sending birds squawking into flight and echoing off the distant hills.
Behind the tree, you flinched as the blast tore through the air, shaking leaves loose from the branches above. Splinters of bark peppered the ground around.
"She’s batshit insane…" you muttered.
The realization dawned on you that Ellie was closing in, her determination matched only by her deadly accuracy. You had to think fast, find a way to turn the tables on her before it was too late.
On the other side, Ellie moved swiftly, her shoes crunching softly on the forest floor as she advanced. “You can't hide forever!" she shouted, her voice carrying a chilling promise.
Suddenly, Ellie's ears twitched at the distant, guttural moans that began to echo through the forest. The unmistakable sound of infected—clickers and runners—drawn by the commotion of gunfire.
"Damn it!" she cursed under her breath, her focus splitting between you and the herd. Infected were relentless, driven by primal instinct and hunger, oblivious to anything but the urge to feed.
With a quick, decisive motion, Ellie shifted her stance, her eyes darting between the direction of the approaching infected and the tree behind which she believed you were hiding. Her grip tightened on the shotgun, torn between eliminating you or infected.
You pressed your back against the rough bark of the tree, trying to steady your breathing. Your mind raced, calculating your next move. The infected were close, their unearthly cries sending chills down your spine. Every rustle of leaves and snap of twigs heightened your anxiety, urging you to make a move.
Suddenly, a runner burst through the forest, its crazed eyes locking onto Ellie. With a roar, it lunged towards her. Ellie didn't hesitate. She aimed and fired, the shotgun blast tearing through the runner's chest and sending it sprawling to the ground. The sound blared through the forest, drawing more infected towards the chaos.
Taking advantage of the distraction, you peeked out from behind the tree, spotting Ellie as she quickly reloaded her shotgun. The infected were focucsed on her position, and you knew you had a slim window of opportunity. You raised your rifle, aiming carefully.
Ellie, sensing movement, looked up just in time to see you taking aim. Her eyes widened, but she had no time to react. You pulled the trigger, the shot ringing out. The bullet grazed her arm, causing her to stumble back with a cry of pain. Blood seeped from the wound, but she remained standing, a fierce look in her eyes.
At that moment, the forest exploded into chaos. Infected surged from all directions, drawn by the gunfire and the scent of blood. Ellie fired rapidly, taking down several of the frenzied creatures, but their numbers were overwhelming.
Desperation fueled your actions as you ducked behind the tree, reloading your rifle as quickly as your shaking hands would allow.
Ellie gritted her teeth against the pain in her arm, the hot sting of the wound sharpening her focus. Realizing she had little time, she made a split-second decision. With a final blast from her shotgun to clear her immediate path, she broke into a sprint, aiming directly for your position.
Your heart pounded in your chest as you saw Ellie barreling toward you. Panic surged as you tried to lift your rifle, but before you could react, she was upon you. She grabbed your arm with a grip like iron, her eyes locking onto yours with a fierce intensity.
"They're too many of 'em!" she yelled, her voice husky and out of breath. "I won't let those fuckers kill you first."
With that, Ellie yanked you forward, pulling you into motion as the infected closed in. The sound of their growls and snarls filled the air,. You stumbled alongside her..
The infected were relentless, their numbers growing as more were drawn to the commotion. You risked a glance back, seeing the herd spilling through the trees like a dark wave.
“Keep moving!" she shouted. You barely had time to think, let alone question her plan.
An abandoned building loomed ahead, ellie didn't hesitate, her pace increasing as you neared it. She quickly pushed you through the entrance, your body skidding across the cold concrete floor. Pain shot through your hands and knees, the rough surface scraping skin and drawing blood.
"Argh!" you cried out, instinctively pulling your hands close to inspect the damage. Blood smeared your palms, the wounds stinging sharply.
You looked up to see ellie barricading the outside, shoving broken furniture against the entrance. You scrambled to your feet, masking the pain in your hands. The infected's guttural moans grew louder, meaning they were closing in on the building. Ellie finished securing the outside and then hoisted herself onto the roof. She slipped through a gap, landing lightly inside the building beside you.
But before you could react, she quickly lunged at you bloodthirsty. Her movements were quick and precise, a chaos of aggression as she aimed to overpower you. Instinctively, you reached for your pocket knife, the cold steel burning in your hand.
With a swift motion, you slashed at her back. The blade sliced through fabric and skin, causing a pained cry from Ellie.
"Fuck! ngh!" she gritted out, momentarily backing away from you. Blood seeped through her shirt, but the wound only seemed to fuel her anger.
Ellie didn't give you a moment to catch your breath. She lunged again, her shotgun swinging in a wide arc. The end of the weapon crashed against the side of your head with a sickening thud, and pain exploded in your skull. Darkness quickly became your vision, and you crumpled to the floor, unconscious.
───
You slowly regained consciousness, the first thing you felt was the pounding ache in your head, a relentless, throbbing pain. Groaning softly, you tried to move, but found your hands tightly bound behind a cold, metal pole. The rough ropes cut into your wrists, leaving them raw and sore.
Blinking to clear your vision, you took in your surroundings. The location was different—a small, dimly lit room that smelled of mold and decay. The faint glow from a single, flickering bulb barely illuminated the space. Old machinery and rusted pipes surrounded you, remnants of what appeared to be an abandoned industrial building.
As your senses returned, so did the realization of your situation. The muffled sounds of the infected outside were still present, but now distant, their grotesque growls and shuffles muted by the thick walls of the warehouse.
Ellie stood a few feet away, her back turned as she rummaged through a worn backpack.
"Where...the fuck are we?" you croaked, your voice weak and rough.
Ellie turned slowly, her expression hard to read. "Old warehouse," she replied. "Needed to get away from infected. You were slowing me down, so I had to make sure you wouldn't be a problem."
She then walked over, crouching down in front of you. She held a knife in her hand, the blade glinted ominously in the dim light.
"Talk," she demanded, her tone cold.
You met her gaze, anger flickering in your eyes. You weren't going to give in easily. You remained silent, your jaw set in a stubborn line.
Ellie's eyes narrowed, "Fucking answer me!" she snapped, moving the knife closer.
But your focus shifted, drawn to the dark stain spreading across Ellie's shirt. Blood was pooling at her side, seeping through the fabric and dripping onto the floor.
You stared at it, your voice calm and almost casual as you spoke. "You're bleeding out."
Ellie scoffed, but the tension in her eyes betrayed her concern. She glanced down at her wound, wincing slightly as she shifted her weight.
"That's not your concern," she snapped, "Tell me why you were fucking following me!"
"You can't interrogate me while you're losing blood," you replied, "You'll pass out before you get anything useful."
Ellie glared at you, her grip tightening on the knife. She was clearly in pain, her movements less fluid than before.
"I don't have time for this," she muttered, but the desperation in her voice was unmistakable.
"You need stitches," you said firmly.
Ellie grimaced, her jaw tightening with irritation. "I don’t need your advice."
You glanced around the dimly lit room, searching for anything that could serve as makeshift medical supplies. Your eyes fell on a rusted toolbox in the corner, its lid half-open and revealing a jumble of tools and odds.
"There might be something in that toolbox," you suggested, nodding towards it.
Ellie slowly limped over to the toolbox, her hand steadying herself against the cold metal of the nearby machinery. She opened the lid with a grunt of effort, revealing a disorganized array of old tools and supplies. Among the rusted wrenches and screwdrivers, she spotted the small, dusty sewing kit nestled in a corner.
Grabbing the kit, Ellie returned to where you were seated. She laid out the contents of the sewing kit—a sterilized needle, spool of thread, and a small pair of scissors—on a nearby crate.
"You're going to do it." she commanded, her voice firm and authoritative.
You stared at Ellie, disbelief and stubbornness across your face. "Fuckk no," you said firmly.
Ellie scoffed, “I can’t…reach back there." she admitted, her hands visibly trembling from the strain.
You watched her closely, completely aware of the opportunity before you. A plan came to mind —how you could turn her in this very moment, claim the upper hand. But the flaws of such a plan gnawed at you. Without backup, it was a risk that could easily backfire.
You pushed the idea aside, sighing heavily.
"Why would you ever let an enemy stitch you?" you asked, your tone suspicious. "Just minutes ago, I was trying to kill you."
Ellie's movements were slow as she began undoing the rope, her expression guarded. "Don't fucking question it," she replied bluntly, finally standing up before you, her gaze meeting yours with a challenge.
The intensity of her words hung in the air, the weight of truth echoing in your mind. You felt a surge of frustration and confusion, unable to understand Ellie's actions with the ruthless reputation she had earned among the WLF. In your weeks of observation, you had witnessed her kill WLF soldiers and crew with merciless efficiency.
"It's out of your character," you argued, your voice escalating with each word. "I've studied you for weeks. In that time, you've shown no mercy, no hesitation. Now suddenly, you're trusting one of your enemies to tend to your wounds?"
Ellie's jaw tightened, a flicker of irritation crossing her features. "You think I trust you?" she retorted sharply, her eyes narrowing. “If I wanted to, you'd be dead."
The words hit you like a blow, their implication sinking in with a chilling clarity. You realized then, with a sinking feeling in your gut, that Ellie wasn't acting out of sudden trust. She was going to use you to ensure her own survival.
───
Ellie crouched down, her back exposed to you as she held herself against a rusted metal crate. Her shirt lay discarded on the ground, revealing the crude stitches you had just finished. The wound, though now patched, still oozed blood, staining her skin and the fabric around it.
"Don’t try anything.." Ellie warned sharply as she glanced over her shoulder at you.
You scoffed, "Just fucking stay still.”
Ellie tensed but remained silent, her gaze fixed ahead as she focused on maintaining her composure. With practiced hands, you carefully inspected the stitches you had made, ensuring they were holding and that no signs of infection were starting to appear. Satisfied with your work, you began to stitch up the remaining tears in Ellie's shirt, reinforcing the fabric where it had been torn by the blade.
The warehouse around you remained eerily quiet, the only sound the occasional shuffle of debris stirred by a faint breeze.
"You're with the WLF, aren't you?" Ellie's voice cut through the tense silence.
You paused midway through stitching, the needle hovering above the fabric. Surprise flickered across your face before you composed yourself, a wry smirk tugging at your lips. "You really don't waste any time, huh?"
Ellie turned her head towards you, her expression unreadable. "The patch on your backpack gave it away," she explained casually, her eyes narrowing slightly. "So it wasn't exactly a mystery."
You rolled your eyes, a mixture of annoyance and amusement bubbling within you. Ellie chuckled softly, “The WLF think they’re so fucking untouchable," she continued, her voice tinged with disdain. "You guys don’t even bother with discretion. Yet it's the very reason why taking you out is so damn easy."
"You’ve answered your own questions," you remarked calmly, your hands skillfully stitching up Ellie's torn shirt. "Congratu-fucking-lations."
Ellie let out a scoff, a mixture of disbelief and bitter realization across her face. "It all makes sense now," she muttered under her breath, "Every time I settled somewhere new, a swarm of soldiers would magically show up the next day…”
"I knew something was off," she continued, her voice gaining intensity. She furrowed her eyebrows, "I thought I was just being paranoid until I caught sight of... well, you."
You gulped, the pit in your stomach deepening as if you were reliving that very moment. The memory of encountering Ellie, of being face-to-face with the trespasser you had been tasked to monitor.
"You should’ve seen your face," Ellie chuckled amusingly, "You were absolutely petrified."
You finished the last stitches on Ellie's shirt, securing the fabric back together as best as you could.
“Don't worry," you remarked, a smirk playing on your lips, "I'm guessing it was the same look you had when my bullet almost pierced your skull." With a grin, you handed her the now-repaired shirt. "So, I didn't miss much."
Ellie took the shirt from you, her expression unreadable as she inspected the stitches. "I didn't expect a WLF soldier to be an accurate shot," she admitted, "Most of you drop dead before pulling the trigger."
You rolled your eyes, “really?" you asked sarcastically, watching Ellie grunt as she put her shirt back on, clearly feeling the sting of the stitches.
“Because from the looks of it," you continued, your gaze lingering on the bruises and scars crisscrossing Ellie's exposed back before her shirt covered them, "I'm not the only one who's gotten lucky."
Ellie glanced down at you, "Yeah, well," she muttered "Luck doesn't happen twice."
The crackle of static abruptly screeched throughout the room. A voice blared through the radio, urgent and commanding, "Report needed for female trespasser, over."
Your heart leaped into your throat at the transmission. Without a moment's hesitation, you lunged for your backpack where the radio was nestled, but Ellie was quicker. A smirk curled on her lips as she withdrew the radio from your backpack.
"Huh," Ellie chuckled softly, holding the radio up to examine it with a mix of curiosity and amusement. She dropped your backpack to the ground and then turned to you, gripping your arm firmly and pulling you closer.
"Trail them off," Ellie demanded in a low voice, her gaze fixed on you with dark intensity. She held the radio out toward you.
Oath.

knight!abby x fem!reader x assasin!ellie summary: In a kingdom on the brink of new leadership, tensions run high as a coronation draws near. a/n: my apologies if this is all over the place! (wrote this while sleep-deprived..)
The grand hall of the palace was draped in regal tapestries, each one heavy with stories of past rulers, their deep, rich colors glowing under the soft light of chandeliers that hung like constellations above. The crystal fixtures sparkled like stars, casting delicate rays that danced along the polished marble floors. The fragrance of fresh roses filled the room, mingling with the sharp scent of recently cleaned stone, yet you barely noticed the elegance, your thoughts too distant to care.
You stood before the large, arched window, the panes of glass cool against your fingertips. Outside, the sun sank slowly, painting the kingdom in golden light that blended into the soft hues of amber and rose. The sky, streaked with the dying colors of the day, was beautiful—achingly so—but it felt distant. Just like everything else.
Your face remained impassive, cold, as you gazed across the horizon. Today was the day of your coronation, the day you would become queen. Yet the weight of the moment, its significance, felt strangely hollow. The echoes of excitement from the kingdom beyond the palace walls barely reached you. The crowd outside, buzzing with anticipation, their voices and footfalls merging into a dull roar, seemed as distant as the horizon itself. You were aware of the world outside, but none of it felt real.
Two maids worked around you in practiced silence, their hands quick, delicate, and efficient. One was at your side, fastening gold earrings into place, each one set with gemstones that glinted under the light. Her movements were precise, careful, though you barely registered the cool metal brushing your skin. The other maid stood behind, her fingers weaving through your hair, creating an intricate design worthy of the crown that would soon rest upon your head. They were skillful, and yet, their presence barely existed in your mind, your thoughts far beyond this room, slipping through the palace corridors like a shadow.
The maid by your side fumbled slightly as she fastened the last earring, her fingers trembling as they touched your neck. You didn’t flinch. You barely blinked. But you could sense her nervousness, feel the tension rolling off her in waves. Perhaps it was the gravity of the day, the immense pressure of serving the soon-to-be queen.
Behind you, standing just inside the doorway, was Abby Anderson—your most trusted knight, your oldest friend. Her armor gleamed in the chandelier’s soft light, the metal polished to a mirror-like shine, each plate a testament to her dedication and discipline. But Abby wasn’t watching the door or the crowd beyond the palace gates. Her focus was solely on you. It always was.
She had been by your side since childhood, her loyalty as unwavering as the steel she carried. You both had shared so much—moments of joy, of sorrow, of quiet understanding. But today, her presence felt heavier, her gaze more intense. There was something in the air between you both, something unsaid, as if she could sense the quiet storm brewing within you, the unease you hadn’t spoken aloud.
Abby’s eyes traced your face, searching for something, though you gave nothing away. The years had made her keen; she could read you like no one else could, and yet, today, there was a barrier even she could not penetrate. You were a queen in waiting, but in that moment, you felt more like a pawn—moved by forces unseen, drawn into a game far beyond your control.
At last, the maids completed their work, their fingers delicately smoothing the final strands of your hair into perfect alignment. They moved with practiced grace, their hands lingering for just a moment before they stepped back, retreating as if fearful that any further motion might shatter the silence that had settled over the room. The soft rustle of their skirts was barely audible, and their presence faded into the background entirely.
Abby’s presence lingered behind you, ever watchful. You could feel her gaze, piercing through the room’s stillness. Her armored boots softly scuffed the marble floor as she shifted, the slight sound making your spine stiffen, though you couldn’t bring yourself to move.
“You’re prepared for this.” Abby said at last, her voice cutting through the quiet with a firm conviction. It was not a question; there was no room for doubt in her words. It was a truth—her truth—a decision she had already made for you. It wasn’t just encouragement; it was certainty.
For a moment, you remained silent, letting her words hang in the air like a blade unsheathed. Your fingers idly traced the cool glass of the window, the faint lines fogging slightly under your touch. The smooth, cold texture grounded you in the present, a fleeting comfort against the storm inside your mind.
“Do you remember how angry the servants would get at us?” you asked suddenly, your voice breaking through your own silence, but softer than you expected. The memory flashed in your mind, stark against the dread of the present.
Abby looked at you, her eyes flickering with a hint of warmth as she recognized the moment you were recalling.
“We’d sneak into the kitchens,” you continued, “stealing bread, fruits—whatever we could grab. And we’d feed it to the stray animals outside the castle walls.”
Abby smiled faintly, just for a moment, her features softening in the memory. “They’d scold us for it,” she replied, her voice softer now, a distant echo of your childhood, “trying to hide the food on higher shelves or locking it away in pantries. But somehow, we always managed to find something.”
The hint of a smile tugged at the corner of your lips as you turned slightly, your gaze still distant, but now filled with the shadow of nostalgia. “And now those same servants quiver in my presence.” The words left your mouth like a quiet, bitter confession, their truth sinking deeper than you’d intended. “They bow when they see me. They fear me, Abby.”
The weight of your own words settled between you both, the warmth of the past quickly vanishing, replaced by the icy reality of the present.
Abby’s hand tightened around the hilt of her sword, her thumb brushing its pommel in a gesture that was as much instinct as it was protection. “They respect you,” she said quietly, her voice steady, though there was something deeper there, something unsaid. “They may tremble, but they will follow you, just as I do.”
Your eyes flicked back to her, meeting her gaze. For a heartbeat, neither of you spoke.
Abby, your oldest friend, had always been there, her unwavering loyalty a constant in your life. Yet today, that loyalty felt like a shield you might need more than ever.
The chill in your chest only deepened. This wasn’t about respect or loyalty—it was about survival, about strength in a world where softness was weakness. You knew the truth Abby didn’t speak. Your reign would demand coldness. It would demand sacrifice.
The crown, though it had yet to rest upon your head, already cast a heavy shadow over your soul. Its weight had not yet made contact with your brow, but you could already feel its burden pressing deeply into your very essence, seeping into your bones and shaping your thoughts.

Ellie sat in the cool shadows beneath the canopy of trees, her back pressed against the rough bark, the familiar weight of her knife resting comfortably in her hand. With slow, deliberate movements, she ran the blade along the surface of an apple, peeling it in thin, spiraling ribbons. The soft scrape of metal against fruit was steady, almost meditative, and each curl of skin fell to the forest floor in a neat pile. Jesse and Dina stood a few feet away, their voices a low murmur as they discussed the crowd. Ellie didn’t bother listening. Their words were just a distant hum, like the wind rustling through the leaves above.
In the clearing beyond, the crowd surged and swayed, a restless sea of bodies gathered at the palace gates. From their hidden vantage point, Ellie could see the mass of people stretching far beyond what any of them had anticipated. The coronation had drawn the entire kingdom, it seemed, and the air was thick with the buzz of excitement, the occasional roar of cheers rising up like waves crashing against rocks. The sunlight flickered through the trees, casting dappled patterns across the forest floor, but Ellie’s focus remained on the apple in her hands, her knife carving each slice with practiced precision.
“They’re packed in there tight,” Jesse muttered, his brow furrowed as he leaned against a low-hanging branch. His eyes scanned the crowd, taking in the sheer number of people. “Getting close to the princess won’t be easy. Not with this many eyes on her.”
Dina sighed, crossing her arms over her chest as she glared at the bustling mass. “This is insane. Look at them. How are we supposed to get anywhere near her with this many people watching? We’d be lucky if we even make it to the gates without being noticed.”
Ellie didn’t respond. The blade continued its slow dance along the apple’s flesh, peeling away another thin ribbon. She could feel Dina’s frustration simmering, could sense her impatience like a crackling fire, but she wasn’t interested in engaging.
Dina’s patience snapped, her gaze shifting to Ellie with evident irritation. “And you,” she snapped, “you don’t even seem to care. You’ve been quiet the whole time. Don’t you have anything to contribute?”
Ellie’s hand paused mid-motion, her fingers tightening slightly around the knife handle. She looked up slowly, her gaze sharp and unyielding. “If you’ve got something to say, Dina, just say it. Or maybe you should focus on the task at hand instead of whining.”
Dina’s eyes flashed with anger. “Whining? You’ve been sitting here like this doesn’t matter. Do you even know what’s at stake? Or are you too busy with your little apple to care?”
Ellie rose to her feet, her movements deliberate and controlled. The knife still glinted in her hand, the apple now stripped of its skin. She fixed Dina with a steady gaze. “I know exactly what’s at stake. You think I got this job because by some mistake?”
Before Dina could say anything, Jesse stepped between them, raising his hands in a calming gesture. “Alright, enough,” he said firmly, his voice cutting through the tension. “Both of you, just stop. This isn’t the time for bickering.”
Dina huffed, her gaze still directed at Ellie but with less venom. Jesse turned to Ellie, his expression softening slightly. “Ellie’s here because Maria trusts her. She’s new to the group, sure, but she’s not new to the work.”
Ellie observed Dina’s expression shift from anger to reluctant acceptance, the tension still hanging in the air like a storm cloud. Jesse’s voice took on a firmer tone. “ If we’re going to make this plan work, we need to support eachother, stick to the plan, and cut out these pointless arguments. Got it?”
Dina didn’t immediately respond, but the rigid set of her shoulders softened slightly. She gave a grudging nod, still clearly annoyed but willing to cooperate. Jesse turned back to Ellie, offering her a brief, understanding glance
Ellie nodded in return, her eyes scanning the crowd, “There’s no way we pull this off in front of all these people. There’s no clean escape, no cover. We’d be exposed, and the guards would have us before we even got within striking distance.”
“So what? We just give up?” Dina said, “Go back to Maria and tell her we couldn’t handle it?”
Ellie shook her head, the faint smirk returning to her lips. “No, Dina. We don’t give up. We adapt. We do this the right way. We go in slow.”
“Slow?” Dina scoffed. “We don’t have time for slow.”
“We make time,” Ellie countered, stepping closer. Her voice dropped, cold and deliberate. “If we want this to work, we have to get inside. We need to learn everything—the layout of the town, the routines of the guards, how the people move, how they think. We slip into their lives like shadows. We blend in, become part of the scenery, and when the time’s right, we make our move.”
Dina shook her head, her arms still crossed defensively. “And how long is this supposed to take? A week? A month? We don’t have that kind of time.”
Ellie’s gaze flickered back to the palace, the sun casting long shadows across the stone walls. “As long as it takes,” she said quietly. “You’ve done this longer than I have, Dina, but you know this isn’t a regular kill. This is the queen-to-be. We don’t get a second shot at this. We do it right, or we don’t do it at all.”
Jesse finally spoke up, his voice calm but firm. “She’s got a point, Dina. If we rush this, we’re asking for trouble. We need to know what we’re dealing with before we act.”
Dina’s frustration was clear, but after a long moment of silence, she exhaled sharply, her shoulders dropping in reluctant acceptance. “Fine. We do it your way. But if this goes sideways, Ellie, it’s on you.”
Ellie nodded, her expression unreadable. “It won’t.”
The sun dipped lower in the sky, casting an amber glow over the town as the crowd continued to swell. The distant cheers grew louder, the anticipation in the air thickening as the coronation ceremony drew closer. Ellie watched the scene unfold, her mind already working, planning, calculating each move.
They would become part of this place—unseen, unnoticed—until the moment was right. And when it was, they would strike from the shadows, swift and lethal.
There was no room for mistakes.

You jolted awake, your lungs burning as if they were being scorched from the inside. Coughs wracked your body, each spasm sending searing pain through your chest. Blinking rapidly to clear the haze from your vision, you realized the room was shrouded in thick, acrid smoke. The dim light that filtered through the dense fog was ghostly and indistinct, casting eerie shadows on the walls.
With your heart racing, you struggled to sit up, your movements slow and unsteady. The smoke clung to your skin, making it difficult to breathe, and you could feel your head growing light as if it were floating away from your body. Your eyes watered uncontrollably, and the oppressive weight of the smoke made every breath a laborious effort.
Summoning every ounce of strength, you staggered out of bed, your legs weak and uncooperative. The smoke seemed to thicken the longer you stayed in the room, and the oppressive heat made the air feel almost molten. You stumbled towards the door, each step a monumental task as you tried to shield your face with the crook of your arm, hoping to avoid inhaling more of the choking smoke.
You emerged from your bedroom, the palace engulfed in chaos. The once-grand hallways were now a nightmarish landscape of flickering flames and billowing smoke. The once-polished marble floors were now slick with soot, and the ornate tapestries that once adorned the walls were reduced to smoldering husks. The flames crackled hungrily, consuming everything in their path with an insatiable fury.
You pushed through the haze, your eyes watering, your throat raw from coughing. Your mind raced as you made your way towards your parents' quarters, the thought of them being trapped in the inferno spurring you on. The corridor twisted and turned, and the smoke grew denser, each breath feeling like it might be your last.
You reached their door, but your heart sank as you saw the chains wrapped around it. The metal glinted ominously in the firelight, each lock fastened tightly as if mocking your desperation. Your hands trembled uncontrollably as you grasped at the chains, yanking and pulling with all the force you could muster. The locks resisted stubbornly, their mechanisms cold and unyielding against your frantic efforts.
The smoke was getting thicker, searing your lungs with every inhale, and your vision was beginning to narrow as you struggled to stay conscious. You coughed violently, the sound echoing harshly in the confined space, but you didn’t stop. Your fingers clawed at the chains, your voice a ragged plea as you strained against the cold metal.
“Help! Somebody—please!” Your voice was a mere whisper against the roar of the flames, barely carrying over the din of the burning palace. The locks seemed to mock you, their resistance only heightening your sense of helplessness.
Just as the smoke began to envelop you completely, your vision dimming to a suffocating blur, a figure appeared through the haze. Abby, her armor glinting in the flickering light, burst into view. Her expression was a mix of determination and fear as she dashed towards you, her eyes wide with alarm.
“Come on, we have to get out!” Abby shouted over the roar of the flames, her voice cutting through the smoke like a lifeline.
Before you could react, Abby grabbed you by the arm with a grip that was both firm and unyielding. The intensity in her eyes brooked no argument. She began dragging you towards the corridor, her strength propelling you forward even as you struggled against her.
“No!” you yelled, your voice cracking from the strain. “My parents—please, Abby! They’re still in there! You have to save them!”
Your protests were met with a resolute silence as Abby continued to pull you away from the door. Her pace was relentless, driven by a single-minded focus on getting you to safety. You flailed against her, trying to wrench free, your fists landing weakly against her armor.
“Let me go!” you cried out, hitting her with all the strength you could muster, but Abby remained unmoved. Her face was set in a grim line, her eyes fixed ahead as she navigated the treacherous path through the burning palace.
“I can’t!” Abby shouted back, her voice carrying an edge of desperation. “We’re not safe here!”
The corridor seemed to stretch endlessly as Abby dragged you away, each step pulling you farther from the locked door and your parents. The smoke thickened, wrapping around you like a choking shroud, and the heat became unbearable. You could see the door now, its chains glinting through the smoke, but it was growing smaller and smaller with each passing second.
“Abby, stop!” you pleaded, your voice a strained whisper. “We need to go back!”
Abby’s grip tightened, her determination unwavering. “It’s too late,” she said firmly. “The fire’s spreading too fast!”
You could feel the heat intensify as the flames roared closer, the walls of the palace crumbling around you. The inferno’s glow painted the walls in flickering hues of orange and red, and the once-familiar corridors were now a labyrinth of destruction.
Your parents’ door was now a distant memory, the vision of it being consumed by the flames etched in your mind. Tears streamed down your face, mixing with the sweat and smoke as Abby continued to pull you away, her determination a beacon in the chaos.
“Don’t—don’t leave them!” you sobbed, your strength waning as the fire grew fiercer. Your struggles became weaker, your body exhausted by the smoke and the frantic escape.

“We must go now, Your Majesty.” A maid’s voice echoed through the room. She stood at the doorway, her head peeking in cautiously as if unsure whether to intrude on the final moments of your preparation. Her uniform was impeccably crisp, and her eyes darted nervously between you and the room, her posture stiff and formal.
You blinked, the trance you had been in dissolving as you scanned the room with renewed focus. The reflection in the mirror caught your eye. For a moment, the reflection seemed almost foreign, a ghostly echo of the queen you were about to become.
You turned to face Abby, who stood steadfast near the door. Her presence was as constant and reassuring as ever, her armor gleaming softly in the dim light. She hadn’t moved an inch from her post, her gaze locked on you with an intensity that was both protective and unwavering. It was as if she was willing to stand there for an eternity if it meant ensuring your safety and success.
You met her eyes, holding the gaze with a mixture of determination and an unspoken bond that had been forged over years of friendship and loyalty. The moment stretched, silent and weighty, a silent conversation passing between the two of you.
With a final, lingering look at the mirror, you straightened your posture and adjusted the layers of your gown, the fabric rustling softly with the movement. The intricate embroidery glinted in the light, the gold threads catching the soft glow and accentuating the grandeur of the ensemble. You took a deep breath, gathering the last of your composure.
“Shall we go?” you asked Abby, your voice steady but carrying a hint of the gravity of the occasion.
Abby’s expression softened, though her stance remained resolute. She nodded slowly, her eyes reflecting both pride and a hint of anxiety. “Yes, Your Majesty,” she said softly, her voice carrying the unspoken promise of her protection.
The maid stepped aside, allowing you and Abby to pass. As you walked towards the door, the echo of your footsteps seemed louder than usual, the soft click of your heels against the marble floor punctuating the stillness of the room. The grand hall awaited, filled with the thrumming anticipation of the crowd, the culmination of everything you had worked towards.
You took one last deep breath, feeling the weight of the crown and the enormity of your impending role settle over you. With a final, resolute glance back at the room—the sanctuary you were leaving behind—you stepped through the door and into the corridor beyond. The sounds of the cheering crowd and the distant murmur of the kingdom’s voices grew louder as you approached the grand hall, each step bringing you closer to your fate.

When the door opens, you recognise the sounds of Ellies footsteps immediately.
She’s finally back from patrol, and you can’t wait till she sees how nice you tidied up the home while she was gone.
Something catches your attention as she shuffles around in the hallway. Her footsteps seem much heavier than usual, sounds like she’s dragging her feet on the floor. Maybe something happened on patrol, something that tired her out. She probably needs to rest, and what feels better after a long day of hard work then a freshly made bed?
You hear her dropping her bag to the ground, calling out a strained; “I’m home!” If it hadn’t been for her heavy footsteps, the sound of her voice would have been a telltale sign that something wasn’t right. It sounds like she’s close to tears, and your Ellie doesn’t cry. At least not with people around, she doesn’t even cry in front of you.
Putting away the clothes you’d been folding, you’re on your way out of the bedroom and into the narrow hallway. You almost run straight into Ellie when she appears in the doorway with slumped shoulders and her face turned down to the floor. Reaching out for her shoulders, softly shaking them to get her to look up. To look at you.
Ellie’s stubborn, everyone knows that. So she keeps her eyes trained on the floor and says nothing. The room is quiet, and the only sound that can be heard is Ellie’s heavy breathing. The contrast between you is clear, Ellie is still in her clothes from patrol while you’re wearing a clean pair of clothes you changed into this morning. She’s dirty and bruised, and you’re clean.
Your first instinct is to reach for her face and convince her to come with you to the bathroom. Try to bribe her with the promise of a warm bath and cleaning her up. She must be exhausted from patrol, that must be why she seems so off.
It’s not until you move your hands to her cheeks that you notice it. She’s crying.
Feeling her tear stained skin underneath your palms makes your movements stutter. This is completely new territory for you, because Ellie never lets herself cry in front of you.
It’s the way she whimpers your name that gets your attention, brings you back to her. Before you know it, she’s collapsing against you and sobbing loudly. After that, your body moves on autopilot, you get her to the bed and slowly sit down with her on the edge. She’s gripping onto your hand so hard it’s almost painful, but you can’t bother to care about the discomfort. All you can focus on is Ellie.
You just hold her and stroke your hands over her back, letting her get it all out. As her sobbing calms down and she seems to be able to finally breathe, you press a quick kiss to her cheek.
“Wanna talk about it?” Your question has her looking up, into your eyes. Red shot eyes, quivering lips and flushed cheeks. Ellie looks pretty when she cries. “I just…” interrupted by another sob, you hug her tighter into your side.
“Just… saw something on patrol and I just don’t want to lose you.” You don’t press on her what she saw, knowing that patrol gets rough. There’s a growing suspicion inside of you that this isn’t just about whatever happened today. Probably something that’s been building up inside of Ellie for a very, very long time. Way before Joel and Jesse died, maybe even before Riley died all those years in the arcade.
She whispers your name, and you see another tear roll down her cheek. She’s trying to calm herself down, resting one of her hands above her heart. She’s trying to take a deep breath in, but she’s shaky. Eventually, Ellie manages to get out a few more words without breaking once.
“I’m so fucking tired of losing the people I love.” The way she looks into your eyes as she says it makes your heart ache, and you reach out to move a piece of her hair out of her face.
“You’re not going to lose me” is all you can get yourself to say, almost stuttering in your movements as you lean forward and rest your forehead against hers. “What can I do for you?” You whisper it like a plea, searching for an answer in her eyes.
“Kiss me. Please…”
Ellie’s lips are chapped, but that doesn’t matter to you. It never has. It doesn’t matter because it’s overshadowed by how it feels inside of you when her lips meet yours. The way warmth spreads through your chest, the way your heart just becomes full off her.
The kiss is short lived, just giving her a small peck to comfort her. To show that you’re here, really here, with her. The way Ellie chases your lips as you lean back takes you back by surprise, not realising she wanted more. Sitting still, your eyes still on her lips and not moving your eyes until you hear her voice again.
And it’s enough to have you press your lips onto hers once again, bringing up your hands to hold her face in your palms.
You can’t bring yourself to care that Ellie is making the newly changed sheets all dirty with her outdoor clothes. It doesn’t really matter anyways, they can always be washed again.
The only thing that matters right now is your girl, laying underneath you. She’s breathing heavily, and under different circumstances you might have teased her for it. Getting so worked up just ‘cause you’re kissing. This isn’t the time for any teasing though, because she’s laying in front of you completely vulnerable. Just waiting for you to touch her, so she can feel you. Feel that you’re here, that you’re not going anywhere.
Standing up at the edge of the bed, beckoning for Ellie to sit upwards with your fingers. Without even questioning what you want, she does it. You can see the want in her eyes as she looks at you, but there’s also something else there. Trust. Ellie trusts you to take care of her right now, and what kind of girlfriend would you be if you didn’t make sure to take care of her right now?
“Take your shirt off, let me see you.” The words make it sound like a demand, but the softness of your voice lets Ellie know it isn’t an order in any way. It’s more of a plea, a plea for her to let you see her.
The dirty sweater is thrown on the floor somewhere, and the sight of her topless makes you breathless. When Ellie sees the desire look in your eyes, the way you lick your lips as you lean forward to leave kisses all over her chest, it’s enough to make her eyes roll back.
It’s healing. The way you look at her, that is. Not just the way you’re looking at her at times like this, when she’s getting her clothes off of her for you, but at other times too. It’s hard to for Ellie to put her finger on, but you just always look at her so lovingly.
When you take her hardened nipple in your mouth, Ellie’s thought are interrupted by her own moan. You’re messy, using your tongue and getting your spit all over her tit. Using one of your hands to play with the neglected nipple, and Ellie’s breathy moans in the background sounds like music to your ears.
It’s not until Ellie attempts to grind down on the knee you’ve slotted in between her legs that you pull away. She’s quick to sit up, leaning on her elbows. You see the way she scrunches her eyebrows and her lips form a small pout, she’s clearly frustrated- frustrated that you pulled away
“Why’d you stop?”
“Shhh… just relax, let me take care of you…” Fumbling with the zipper on her jeans while Ellie tries her best to help you pull them down. It’s not easy getting the material off her legs, and you struggle for a good minute before finally managing to remove them. Dropping her pants on the floor behind you, you shift your focus to the only piece of clothing Ellie has left on her body.
The cotton panties she’s wearing are black and plain, Ellie shudders as she sees the way your eyes are stuck on her lower body and how you lick your lips. You make her scoot up so there’s more room for you on the bed, and you leave a trail of kisses as you descend down. Starting off by rubbing two fingers on the outside of her panties, making her wetter. All Ellie can do is let out a pleased sigh, dragging her hand over her face.
Her cheeks are flushed from desire, and when you start pulling down her panties Ellie turns giddy for what’s to come.
There’s nothing she loves more than having you between her thighs, she knows you can stay there for hours and you’re always so good at making her feel good. This is exactly what she needs right now, something to distract her from that fucking… that thing that happened during patrol and for her to feel you close. To have you close, feel your skin on hers, hear your praises in her ear. This is exactly what Ellie needs.
Slowly slipping a finger inside of her, you let out a moan at how wet she is.
“This all for me?”
“Yea- yeah, just for you. Always just for you” Ellie’s breathless from the way you’re using your finger inside of her, and she knows it won’t be long till you slip another finger inside of her. She’s probably already wet enough, but you always make sure to drag it out. Work her up until she can’t handle it anymore, till she’s pleading for you to just give her one more finger.
“Please?” You don’t know if it’s the way Ellie asks so nicely, or the way she’s whispering your name, but you give in. Pulling your finger out, only to slip two in instead, it’s now Ellie’s time to moan out loud.
You have been together with her long enough to know her body, know what she likes and know what gets her off. The way you slowly move your fingers inside of her, the way you press your palm against the front of her crotch and the way your palm keeps on grazing her clit.
The room is quiet except for the sound of you fingering her, and it’s filthy. There’s a thin layer of sweat on her body, and she feels like she’s absolutely soaking the sheets. She’s just about to start begging, begging you to speed up your pace and get her where she needs to be, but you’re slipping out your fingers and pressing your mouth against her pussy.
It’s even filthier than the sounds from a few seconds ago, the way you use your tongue on her. You’re basically making out with her folds, pressing your nose against her bundle of nerves.
Ellie’s grabbing your hair now, pushing your face further into her. Normally you’d pull away, scold her for being too eager and kindly remind her who’s actually in charge, but this time you allow her to use you. She’s trying to move her hips upwards, grinding against your face.
You’re using your tongue to fuck her, and Ellie’s using you like her own personal toy. You would rather die before you’d ever admit how wet she’s making you, how badly you want to slip your own hand inside your pants and get some relief. Ellie’s eagerness, the way she’s just using you, is almost enough to make you cum in your own pants. Your girlfriend is fucking hot.
You slip your hands underneath her ass, using your grip to push her even closer to your mouth. Making out with her cunt, the slick of her having spread all over your chin at this point.
When you hear Ellie babbling, you take it as a signal to slip one of your arms away from underneath her and move your hand to her thigh.
Slowly moving upwards and moving your lips to her clit, slipping two fingers inside of her with ease and sucking on her swollen clit.
“Oh, fuck yes.” You can’t see it, but Ellie is curling her toes, she’s so, so close. Just a little bit more. Her back is arching up from the bed, and she’s practically chanting your name. “Right there, oh, I’m so close” her words only spur you on, make you move your fingers faster. Pressing them up against the spongey spot inside of her, she lets out one last cry of your name before she comes undone.
Slowly pulling away, leaving kisses on her upper thighs as Ellie tries to catch her breath. You force yourself away from her skin, sitting up in between her legs. Ellie’s spent, but the way you run your thumb over your lips and bring your tongue out to lick it off has her clenching around nothing.
“Ready for some more?”
She only gives you a shy smile in response, and reaches her arms towards you as you move on top of her. Grabbing your hips and waiting for you to unbutton your pants and pull your underwear down so she can have you sit on her face, Ellie becomes shocked when you just shake your head and let out a tsk-sound.
“Not that” is all you say before you lean over her and reach your hand to pull at the drawer in the nightstand next to you. With a confused look on her face, Ellie can’t help but ask. “But you haven’t- I mean, I wanna make you feel good too…”
Just giving her a small smirk at her words, before you pull out the toy that’s been laying hidden in the drawer. Sitting up on your knees and pulling your pants down hastily before opening the buttons on your blouse, throwing the clothes somewhere on the floor along with Ellie’s disregarded clothes from earlier.
Reaching behind you to unclasp your bra, your girlfriend lets out a sound from underneath you. She’s trying to sit up so she can wrap her lips around your nipples, hard from the cold air and the lust pumping through your veins.
All you do is softly push her shoulders so she lays back, and Ellie is way too putty in your hands to try to fight back. Instead, she waits patiently as you get the purple strap on.
Your soft hands grab her ankles and you move her legs so you’re laying in a mating position. Ellie can feel the cold plastic against her folds, and she’s just waiting for you to give her what she wants. What she needs. She doesn’t expect you to suddenly move one of your hands to her face, and stroke your thumb over her cheek.
“You know I’m not going away anytime soon, right?” It warms her heart, the combination of your body against her and the soft spoken words is enough to comfort the part of her that’s still upset about what she and Jesse saw earlier.
“Yeah, I know.” Ellie’s hand now reaches for your cheek, looking into your eyes with a soft expression. “Just need to be reminded sometimes.”
You press a quick kiss to her lips before you lean back and grasp the head of the purple dildo, guiding to her entrance.
“Okay, I’ll keep reminding you then. That I’m your girl and I ain’t going nowhere.”
When you push inside of her, Ellie’s eyes roll to the back of her head. She can’t bring herself to care that she hasn’t made you cum, can’t bring herself to care if she’s being selfish. Not when you’re filling her up like this, when you’re leaving kisses all over her neck.
“You okay?” It’s whispered against her neck, you’re now completely still, letting her get used to the toy inside of her. She was already stretched out from your fingers, and wet enough to avoid discomfort. All she does is nods enthusiastically, moving her legs around your hips.
“Yes, just- just fuck me. Please”
It’s all you need, pulling out until nothing but the tip is left inside of her and slamming back in. Working up a quick pace, trying to alternate between thrusting into her and grinding against her, giving her clit some more stimulation.
The room fills with Ellie’s moans once again, but she’s not the only source of the filthy sounds now. As you move your hips against her, the toy pushes back on your clit. Feeling it graze against you over and over as Ellie drags her nails down your back makes you feel so fucking good. You try to tell her, but the pleasure makes it all come out in a broken sentence.
“Oh, you feel so-“ interrupting yourself by moaning, you close your eyes hard and try once again, “so fucking good, love having you like this, filled with my cock.” Ellie just lets out a high pitched moan at your words, and she can’t get herself to feel embarrassed. Not when you're pushing the purple strap on into her over and over again, not when you’re so pussydrunk on top of her.
“You look so good, Ellie, I just wanna do this… do this forever” you’re breathless, and she can feel her high approaching again. All she needs is a little something to get her there. As if you can read her thoughts, you use the hand that you had used to hold her face in your palm earlier and start rubbing on her clit.
She comes with a cry off your name, and you wish you could actually feel the way she spasmed around the toy. Instead, you content yourself with looking at her face when she orgasms. The way Ellie scrunches up her brows, and how her pretty lips shape an ‘o’ in a silent scream. You thrust into her as she comes down from it, and don’t stop until she pushes against your shoulder to let you know she’s too sensitive.
Pulling out and removing the straps from around your hips, you slowly get out of bed and reach for one of the clothing items thrown on the floor. Quickly buttoning your blouse, you head towards the bathroom. Ellie wants to ask you to stay with her, but she’s too exhausted to form a sentence. Her brain feels like mush, and all she can think about is how sticky the inside of her thighs still feel. It makes her think about how you looked like licking her juices off your lips, and she clenches against nothing once again.
Strutting out of the bathroom, a small towel in hand. You’re wiping her legs clean, and stroking over the side of her stomach with your hand. The atmosphere feels different now, and the air feels lighter. Ellie can actually properly breathe, unlike when she first fell into your embrace when she got home.
“Wanna talk about it?”
There’s a beat of silence, because she’s unsure. Doesn’t know if she wants to talk about it, doesn’t know if she can. Looking into your eyes and meeting the look of love, concern in them is enough to give her the courage to speak up.
“There was this… tree. And someone had carved in two names, and added ‘was here’ underneath them.” She takes a deep breath once again, and you reach for her hand to squeeze it. Remind her you’re still right here, right here with her.
“A little bit further down we found the remains of some cordycep, it had been… shot or something. I think it was a little girl.”
You’re quiet, waiting for her to tell you the entire story. She’s breathing slowly, and you can tell by the way her hands start trembling. Reaching for the cover,
“There was a man there, he was dead too. The gun was in his hand.” She gulps, and squeezes your hand hard. Even though her strength is enough to make it hurt a little bit, you don’t pull away. You stay perfectly still and wait patiently. Let her take a deep breath once again, let her try to calm down before speaking up once again.
“Think it was their names on the tree, and it just reminded me…” Even if Ellie had left it at that, you think you know what she’s getting at, who the supposed daughter and father pair reminded her off. “Well, me and Joel. They made me think about me and Joel.”
She looks into your eyes, her own filled with tears. She sits up and pulls you against her. Ellie’s being vulnerable with you, outside of sex, and it’s rare. She’s letting her walls fall down, right here in front of you. This doesn’t usually happen, it probably hasn’t ever happened before at all. But it’s like you already know what to do. Moving on autopilot, you just wrap your arms around her and let her pour her heart out.
She mumbles the last part against the skin of your neck, and then she leans back to give you a small peck. “Everyone’s gone, except you. And I can’t lose you. Ever.”
“Oh, Ellie.” She just leans against you, pulling the cover around the two of you. She doesn’t expect you to say anything more, not until you open your mouth again. “I’m not going anywhere, ever.”
With just a quiet whisper, you manage to make her entire being warm. The black hole inside of her heart is slowly becoming smaller and smaller, and it’s all thanks to you.

"Before you speak don't move 'cause i don't wanna wakeup"
The bright light was making it hard to keep your eyes open, not a single cloud in sight. It was a beautiful place, there was no denying that. Spring had always been your favorite season: leafy trees, blooming flowers, green grass and sunny days. If spring was a place, this would be it.
You decided to explore it, feeling the soft breeze on your skin. There was a big meadow, with a beautiful forest next to it. The bushy green trees complimenting the flowery field. There was something about this place that was so peaceful. Like you were the only person in the world and everything worked for you, rather than against you.
It would be a shame to leave so soon, so you take a seat in between the flowers and take everything in. How could a place so beautiful exist?
Your tranquil state is quickly interrupted by the sound of the grass and dirt being step on. You turn your head to see who the culprit is: a freckley auburnette with big green eyes and, for lack of a better adjective, an angelic face. You were prepared to snap at whoever had taken the sweet blissful state away from you, but after seeing her there was no way.
She doesn't say a word. She sits next to you. You'd usually not even consider just letting a random stranger make their way to you and sit next to you but this felt different. Saying that you had never met this girl before was an understatement, yet it felt like seeing an old friend.
Her presence was warm and pleasant, you felt safe.
"If you are interrupting my moment shouldn't i at least know your name?" you ask her with a playful grin.
"Fair enough. I'm Ellie." She chuckles.
You tell her your name and she nods in acknowledgement.
"We haven't met, have we?" you inquire.
"Not that I'm aware, but it-"
"It feels like it," you complete her sentence before she can, earning a smile from her.
"Well, l've never seen you around here. Think I'd remember a pretty face like yours," she says will a smirk on her face. You scoff in response, finding her antics amusing.
"It's my first time here," you explain.
"Hmm, when you'd get here?"
"What?" You ask with a puzzled face. And suddenly you realize you can't remember how long you'd been here, let alone how you got here.
Before she can even answer your question you wake up by the obnoxious sound of your alarm.
7:00 a.m.
The dream was uneventful, to say the least, but there's something about it that makes you think about it over and over again throughout the day. It was one of those dreams that bring you unexplainable comfort, like a tender embrace, like feeling like a kid again, like feeling some sense of home in there.
And, well, of course there was Ellie. You kept trying to think if you'd seen her before. Her face plagued your thoughts the most. You'd never seen anyone like her, you'd never met anyone like her.
Something about her made you feel like you could spend hours and hours with her and still crave her company. It was ridiculous, you'd spend time how long with her? Fifteen minutes? And yet, you'd never felt that way with anyone before.
Alas, it was a dream. Just a dream. She was just a beautiful entity your psyche had created. Maybe your brain knew it's what you craved and was cruel enough to give it to you in the dream realm, only to get it taken away.
You realized it was useless to dwell on your dreams, so you ended up putting the thought of Ellie aside and continuing your day.
That was, until nighttime.
The warm ambience surrounded you once again and before you could take it all in, you heard that raspy voice that had been echoing in your mind all day.
"You left yesterday," she said.
"Had to go to school." You giggle at her frowny face. She rolled her eyes at you.
"Yeah, well, I didn't get to ask anything about you." And damn her flirty tone because it made you weak in the knees.
"What do you wanna know?"
"Just tell me about you." She shrugged.
"Well, I'm 21, I'm in college, I like cats, reading, animals in general, l like the color green and...I'm pretty boring, don't have much more to tell you.” You chuckle.
"I like green too."
"Really? That's your take on what i said?" You laugh.
"What was I supposed to say?" She protests with a laugh.
"Whatever," you roll your eyes at her now. "What about you?"
"Well, I'm 22, I'm also in college, I like space, science, comics," she tells you, not really sure what else to add on to the list.
"Space?"
"Yeah, like, planets and stars and Nasa and shit."
"Nice, is that your major?" you inquire further.
"Yeah, astrophysics.."
"Just how smart are you?" You ask. Frankly, surprised by the girl.
"Shut up." She laughs. "What about you?"
"English Lit." You explain.
"Suits you."
"Is that good?"
"Yeah, it's good." She responds with that cocky smile that you have grown to love in a couple minutes.
She had a sort of charm you hadn't really seen elsewhere. It was quite boyish and youthful. She had you a little mesmerized. It was quite stupid, considering you barely knew her, but it was true.
"Do you-" and before she could finish her question, you were once again sucked out of your dream.
You groan in annoyance. Annoyed from being woken up, but mostly by the cold morning air reminding you once again that she wasn't real.
Your brain was creative, you'd give it that. Astrophysics is something you didn't even know you could come up with.
You do the whole thing again. Get up, brush your teeth, go to school, try to pay attention to school even when you all could think of were Ellie's freckles and her peachy lips and her pretty dark lashes and the way she had a bun this time, rather than the half-up half-down hairstyle she had last time. Also, about the fact that she was going to ask you something. What was she going to ask you? You could only hope you'd be blessed tonight once more and be able to dream of her.
And so as the sun came down you prepared yourself to go to sleep.
"Please let me dream of her," you thought to yourself. Pleading your subconscious mind.
You don't know when you finally fell asleep, but you were once again in the forest you had began to grow fond of.
"You have a tendency of leaving mid conversation."
There she was.
You turned to face her, "I don't really control it, you know?" You laugh.
"Yeah yeah, whatever."
"What were you going to ask me yesterday?" You ask as you softly kick her foot with yours, an affectionate gesture.
She looks down at your feet, pleased by it. Did the smirk ever leave her face or was it permanently there?
"I was asking if you have a boyfriend."
"Boyfriend? Ew no."
She laughs at your frowned eyebrows and your disgusted face.
"So you like girls?"
"Why? Are you gonna ask me out?"
You'd later cringe at your own question once awake. How on earth was she supposed to take you out?
"Maybe." She said nonchalantly.
"Right. Do you have a girlfriend?"
"Not to worry, all yours."
"You are kind of cocky, do you know that?"
"Oh, come on, you like it."
"Do I, now?" You ask with an incredulous chortle.
"I mean, you do get nervous every time, so l'd say so." She shrugged.
You could immediately feel your cheeks heating up. How could a girl make you lose your composure so easily.
"You are so annoying," you said, to which she just laughed.
-
Night became favorite time of the day from then on. All you did was repeat the cycle everyday: wakeup irritated, hope your day passed as quick as possible (not without reminiscing of your dream all day long), and go to sleep in hopes of dreaming of her again. And again.
And again. Which, to your surprise, you did. Every single night you dreamt of her.
Somehow your dreams went from feeling like minutes with Ellie, to feeling like a hours. In which you talked about everything.
She was the most fascinating person you'd ever encountered. She was smart as hell, funny, kind and of course, had that little cockiness that never really left her side. Which -she was right- you did really like.
Your dreams had always been quite vivid, but you had never appreciated it until now. You were able to really examine her face, hear her voice clearly, see the detail on her tattoo. You'd feel her hand against yours when you walked around the place, or her hair on your fingers as you raked them through her hair when she'd lied on your lap. Nonetheless, it was always accompanied by that soft and warm glow that came with the dream. You could only imagine how much more you’d cherish it all in real life.
And that was the problem. You were completely and absolutely enamored by a girl in a dream. A girl that didn't even exist. But how could you go on with your life knowing you'd never find anyone like her, knowing the perfect girl for you was nowhere to be found?
Life started seeming unappealing to you. Taking class, hanging out with friends, going out. None of it made sense. All you could think of all day long was the night. Every single hour you spend awake seemed like one more hour of you and Ellie being apart. It was eating you alive and you were allowing it.
As dusk arrived you went straight to bed and let yourself fall into a deep slumber.
Your favorite girl was there, waiting for you. You went to hug her. Ellie hugged you back, allowing herself to relax into your arms.
"Missed you," you whispered.
"You say that everyday," she chuckled.
"I miss you everyday," you giggled in response.
She took your hand and the two of you began your stroll. Admiring the trees, the lustrous pond, the flowers. It never got old.
Today you were telling Ellie about school. You mentioned how you'd lost interest lately, not really bothering enough to commit to your studies as you used to.
"Why's that?" She asked.
"I don't know. I don't really care about much lately. Not school, not my friends, not reading." It mildly concerned Ellie, but she didn't say anything.
"You must care about something," she said as she nudged your shoulder.
"I care about being here with you." You shrugged.
"Yeah, but, something else." She insisted.
You shook your head. You didn't want to lie to Ellie. She was the one person you could talk to. And the truth was that she was the only thing to seem worthy of your attention as of late. "I just wanna be here with you all the time."
"It doesn't work like that, doll," she cooed as she tucked a loose strand of hair behind your ear.
You felt a tear trail down your cheek, one that Ellie was quick to gently wipe off with her thumb.
She held you for the rest of your time together.
The next morning you slowly opened your eyes, trying to adjust to the change in lightening. You didn't feel vexed like every other day.
You had a tight knot on your chest that you couldn't explain. A fast-growing affliction that wasn't usually there.
After that night, you never dreamed of Ellie again.
-
It had been three months since you had last seen her. The first few weeks were pure agony.
There was a lot of crying and screaming involved. You were confused and angry and miserable. There was no way to fix it and you didn't even know what you were feeling.
There was no one you could talk to either. What were you supposed to say? That you fell for someone in a dream and now you couldn't deal with the fact that your brain wouldn't let you dream of her anymore?
You kept going to sleep every night hopeful of seeing her again, but it was completely useless. You eventually gave up, realizing it wasn't going to happen.
You were forced to resume your life. You focused yourself on studying, hanging out with your friends, going back to your beloved books. Everything was starting to go back to normal. And yet, there was not a single day where you didn't think of her.
You were headed to your favorite café. Wanting to get some studying done and leaving your apartment for a little bit. As you finally arrived, you settled on your favorite table, put your headphones on and got to work.
Truthfully, your table was a mess. Your computer open, books everywhere and sticky notes all over the place. But it helped you get the work done and that's what mattered most.
After a couple hours you decided to pack everything up and make your way back home, sleep finally sneaking its way up to you.
As you were walking out the door you heard steps hot on your trail.
"Hey, you left this."
Your turned around to see who the familiar voice belonged to. She was handing you a notebook, one you must've missed in the midst of your mess.
As you moved your eyes up to thank the kind stranger, you were met with those two piercing eyes that hadn't been able to leave your mind. The short haired girl with auburn hair, freckles and button nose was standing right in front of you, in the flesh.
It was Ellie.

“i c-can’t!” she whines desperately as you try to draw out of her the fourth orgasm of the night.
“yes, you can, baby. just give me this one and then we are done.” you coo while sucking harshly on her neck. adorning her soft, pale skin with red and purple love marks. all while pressing the vibrator right on her sensitive clit.
god, she’s so adorable. brows furrowed, lips pouting, green eyes glossy, cheeks flushed and the symphony created by her pretty little sounds is nothing short of perfect.
you turn up the setting to the highest level and she lets out a cry. a single tear rolls down her freckled face. she’s so fucked out, you could swear she can’t take it anymore. the truth is she loves it when you do this to her. but ellie being ellie, she’d never admit it.
“aww, are you crying?” you mock and she rolls her eyes at you. even in this state, she’s too proud to admit just how much power you have over her.
“shut up,” she says.
“watch the attitude, els.” you warn, pressing harder on her clit.
“nghhh, shut the- mmph- fuck up!”
you slap her soft, tear-stained cheek. with no time to even process it, all she does in return is moan. the pain doing nothing but enhancing the overwhelming pleasure coursing through her body.
“oh, you liked that, huh? god, your are such a slut, els.” you tease with a smirk plastered on your face.
“i’m- fuck- sorry, mommy,” she pants. broken breaths trying to form a proper sentence.
you start noticing her chest rising and falling faster, her sounds getting louder. you know she’s close.
“fuck fuck fuck- i’m gonna cum!”
“mhm? cum for me, princess.”
the knot in her lower stomach finally snaps and you take it all in. the way her back arches, the way her legs close with a shake, they way she bites her rosy lip trying to be quieter but ends up letting out the sound anyway, the way her eyes roll to the back of her head. she cums so. fucking. hard. what a fucking sight.
once she comes down from her high she looks like the prettiest mess you’ve ever seen.
you tuck loose and disheveled hairs behind her ears, kissing her cheek and tracing soft circles with your fingers on her skin.
“you did so good for me, pretty girl. ‘m so proud.” your sweet voice whispers to her.
“fuck, that was intense.” she pants and you giggle.
“i know,” you say, “let’s get you cleaned up, yeah?”
“mkay,” she responds, her voice raspy and sleepy, “i love you.”
“love you more, baby.”

I know that's not the way to start a conversation
It had been two days since you had seen Ellie. This time she wasn’t accompanied by the yellowish hue and warm ambience of your R.E.M. state, you had actually seen her.
The girl that was driving you crazy was actually flesh and bones, rather than just a lulling mirage, and she had been kind enough to give you the notebook you’d forgotten at your favorite café.
There was no other way to describe it besides bizarre.
You couldn’t even thank her properly, staring at her for what was probably too long with widened eyes. She even asked a concerned “Are you okay?”. And no, you definitely weren’t.
Did she not know who you were? Did she forget about your strolls and your hugs and your deep talks? Had she ever dreamt of you? Was it even possible that it was all true? Or had you maybe seen her before and your brain took her face and made up an entire person?
How are you supposed to explain to a total stranger you’ve dreamt of her and fallen for her in said dreams?
The hair, the face, the tattoo, all of it was the same. Would she be the same, though? Was she an astrophysics major? Did she like the color green and NASA and also laughed at silly puns?
It was like your brain was nothing but a bunch of questions with no answer. None rational, at least.
But there she was. Right in front of you with that mesmerizing aura of hers that made you feel so drawn to her…regardless of the realm you were in. You weren’t one to ask people out. You’d usually wait for them to ask you or flirt with them until they took a hint. But there was no way you could let her go just like that. You couldn’t really tell her you knew her either, but you could just ask for her phone number, right?
And so you did. She smiled and agreed. In her mind, she was happy about the fact that giving you your notebook back had landed her a possible date with such a pretty girl.
Two days. You hadn’t texted her. You didn’t dare. What if she wasn’t like your Ellie? What if for some fucked up reason you dreamt of someone so special but she turned out to be nothing like that? What if the connection wasn’t there? What if she wasn’t sweet and caring and funny and trustworthy?
But it had been enough. Enough questions and enough overthinking. There was no way for you to know if you didn’t text her.
“Hi, it’s the girl whose notebook you saved :)”
“Hey, didn’t think you’d text anymore”
“Oh no! I’m sorry. I just got a little caught up with school”
“I wanted to see if you’d like to hangout sometime?”
“I’d really like that. Is friday cool?”
“Friday’s great <3”
“Okay, I’ll pick you up, yeah?”
“Oh you don’t have to dw”
“No, it’s okay, I want to”
“Pretty girl like you shouldn’t be walking on her own”
You sighed in relief. At least you were done with that part.
Flirty…At least that checks out with your Ellie.
You spent the rest of your week both dreading and anticipating your date on Friday. And, god, were you a mess.
You couldn’t remember ever being so nervous about meeting someone. You spent the next couple days overthinking your outfit choices, how you should do your hair, what you were going to say. More than anything, the thought of this Ellie not being at least a little like your Ellie was nothing short of terrifying. You adored this girl. Her not being real was one thing, but her being real and being the complete opposite was a nightmare.
At 6:36pm your bell rang.
“Coming!” You yelled as you finished putting on your shoe and took one last look in the mirror.
“You got this,” you told yourself. Though the shaking of your hands was slightly contradictory.
You finally opened the door and there she was. She was wearing jeans and an open button-up with the half-up hairdo you liked so much. You can’t help but discreetly pinch yourself just to make sure you weren’t asleep.
“Hi.” You greet her with a smile.
“Hey, you look great.”
“Thank you, you look great too.” She´s smirking now, probably noticing how nervous you were. Well, at least now you knew she was cocky too. “You ready?”
The ride to the restaurant was filled with small talk. You were too nervous to ask her any of the questions you actually needed to ask. You thought to yourself you’d leave them for the restaurant. Having warmed up a little more with each other.
One thing about Ellie, she knew how to treat a girl. She opened the door for you, helped you fasten your seatbelt, let you play your own music on the way there. She was so…well, dreamy.
As you both wait for your food you finally gather the courage to ask. In reality, they were all very basic questions. Not to you, though.
“So, Ellie..”
She hums.
“Are you in college?”
“Yeah, Astrophysics”. Oh, fuck.
“Astrophysics?” Your eyes widen.
“Yeah,” she chuckles, “have always been into all things space.”
You can’t quite believe this is real and not some sort of sick cosmic joke. You try your best to hide your shock. It’s not really a good look for you to audibly gasp every time she says or does something that further proves she’s actually Ellie.
“Oh really? You must be really smart, then.” You tease with a smile.
“Shut up.” She laughs. “Are you in college?”
“Yes, English Literature. Almost done.”
“Really? Suits you.”
“Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”
“Good, of course.”
If this whole thing was bizarre, this moment was just ridiculous. Every other déjà vu was nothing compared to this. It was your Ellie, from the looks down to the way she worded her thoughts.
The rest of your date went great. You learned she indeed was twenty two and liked NASA and comics. She talked the same and she laughed at the same things. She had the same mannerisms: pouts her lips, she fidgets with her hands, smirks a whole lot and oh! such a flirt.
One thing, though - nothing hinted at the fact that she remembered you. You knew most of the things she told you about herself today, not that you minded, but she was actually meeting you for the first time. How could she not remember? Did she even have the same dreams?
You still had many questions, but you were also very relieved. She was Ellie. Your Ellie. Your auburnette with a space obsession and a liking for silly puns. Your funny and sweet friend. Your favorite girl.
She took you back home and walked you to your door. You spin on your heel to face her.
Loose strand of her framing her face, glimmery green eyes staring at you and an eyebrow scar that’s surprisingly attractive on her. Like straight up from your subconscious mind, now right in front of you.
“Can I see you again?” You can tell she’s the nervous one now, not that she lets you see it. You just know her too well.
You smile at her. You thought it was obvious.
“Of course.” You inch closer towards her and press a kiss on her cheek. “Call me, yeah?”
She blushes at this. Trying too hard to contain the huge grin on her lips.
“I will.”
“Goodbye, Ellie.”
The next few days went well. Ellie and you kept texting back and forth, getting to know each other more. You did find out new things about her. About her past, her friendships, her family.
You found yourself constantly checking your phone for her texts. Eagerly waiting for the notification on your screen with her name attached to it. Not that she ever made you wait long, you pretty much had all her attention. You’d smile every time she’d make a dumb joke or she’d call you a sweet name. When you thought you couldn’t love this girl more…
-
The sun was starting to set. Pink and purple clouds painting the sky. The weather was getting warmer and you didn’t have to carry an obnoxiously big jacket with you anymore. You’d had classes all day, finally ready to unwind and peacefully enjoy your Friday night. Or so you thought.
Your phone starts ringing and it’s none other than the girl who's responsible for your stomach doing somersaults. You quickly drag the phone icon to the right and press the device to your ear.
“Hello?”
“Hey, pretty, Are you busy?”
“Nope, just walking home. Had a bunch of classes all day.”
“Are you doing anything later?”
“Ellie Williams, are you trying to ask me out on a date?” You jokingly gasp and earn a laugh from her end.
“Yes, actually. The sky’s supposed to be like super clear tonight and I know a spot where you can really see all the stars and stuff.”
“I’m in.”
“Yeah? I’ll pick you up in an hour. Sounds good?”
“Sounds great. Bye, Ellie.”
“See you in an hour.”
You scurried to your apartment to get ready. You did your hair, changed your clothes, sprayed a sweet vanilla perfume on your pulsing points and quickly touched up your makeup. An hour and eleven minutes later, your bell rang.
This time she was wearing a hoodie with a light jacket on top, her staple jeans and jacket combo. Her hair was up in a low bun. She was such a sight for sore eyes.
“How do you even know this place?” You ask as you both get out of the car. It was higher than the rest of the city, not quite at the top of the mountains but it still had a rather breath-taking view. Pretty quiet yet comforting. A safe haven just for the two of you, at least for tonight.
“Well…” Ellie scrunches her nose.
“What?”
“Kind of found it by accident once, with my ex.” She nervously scratches the back of her neck.
“Are you serious?” You laugh.
“It was just once!”
“So you bring all your girls here?”
“Just the special ones.”
“Shut up, dork.” You playfully roll your eyes at her and nudge her arm.
You both settle the blanket on the grass. Lying next to each other. Propped heads rested on your respective hands.
“So..ex, huh?”
“Yeah, we broke up a little bit over a year ago.”
“What was her name?”
“Cat.” You hum. “She’s great, we just didn’t really work as a couple.”
“Are you guys still friends?”
“We are on good terms. Talk every now and then. I wouldn’t call it ‘friends’, though.”
“I’m not really supposed to talk about exes until like the fifth date, you know?” She jokes.
“You brought her up!” You laugh.
“Yeah, you are right. Sorry.”
“Don’t be.”
Ellie couldn’t quite put her finger on it. Yes, this was your second date but it felt like it wasn’t. She felt as if she had known you her whole life. Something about talking to you and spending time with you felt just right. More than right. You brought a sense of comfort to her. She was in awe of you.
You both rest your heads and look up at the sky. Ellie was right, it was very clear tonight, you couldn’t recall the last time you had seen so many stars.
“Look, you see that one? The one that looks like a W.”
“Wait, where?”
“Right..” she grabs your index finger and points it towards it, “there.”
“Oh I see it!”
“That’s Cassiopeia.” She explains not letting go of your hand, despite you having already spotted the cluster of stars. “It’s the 25th largest constellation in the night sky.”
“Yeah?”
“Yeah, and the first to list it was Ptolomy in the second century…” Ellie went on and on about nebulas and exoplanets. It’s not that you didn’t care, it just so happened that the constellations lined up by her freckles were a whole lot more interesting than the ones drawn in the navy blue sky. “I probably sound like such a nerd right now.” She laughed.
“What? No, not at all. It’s cute how excited you get.” You keep on playing with her hand. Locking and unlocking your fingers, twisting them against each other’s, featherly brushes against her knuckles and the soft scraping of your nails against her skin.
“Is it?” She could feel her heart speed up, so much so that it felt like it was trying to break her ribs and find its way to you. You were no better.
“Mhm, you are very smart. I love hearing you talk.”
She smirked. Of course she did. No matter how nervous or excited she was, she wasn’t Ellie without that tinge of cockiness never leaving her side.
“Can I kiss you?”
“Yes.” You breathed out.
She hovered over you, grabbing your chin to pull you closer to her. She brushed her lips against yours, almost kissing you. Breaths perfectly sync as you feel the air fanning against each other’s mouth. There was no way in hell you could wait one more second, you break first. You crashed your lips into hers.
You had never kissed Ellie, not even in your dreams. You had thought about it many times, but even your imagination’s best efforts couldn’t compare to this.
It was exhilarating, the feeling of her lips rhythmically moving with yours. It just made sense, you two fit. You had kissed people before, but nothing like this. You two were made for each other, and if the otherworldly experience of how you first met didn’t make it painfully obvious, this did.
You moaned into the kiss which she took as an opportunity to explore your mouth with her tongue. Cupping your face to bring you closer, as if you were going anywhere.
She finally breaks the kiss.
“Fuck…”
You giggle, “I know.”
Crazy to be so infatuated by someone on your second date. But the truth is that’s how Ellie felt and she couldn’t explain the how. You, on the other hand, had an idea or two.
After your second date the two of you only got closer. You were on cloud nine. You two could talk for hours, hangout for hours, laugh for hours, kiss for hours. You had come to terms with the fact that you would never know how it is that you met Ellie first or why she couldn’t remember your slumber induced escapades.
It didn’t make it any less strange, but you were long past the freaking out stage. If anything, you had gotten to know Ellie better and even experienced things you never got the chance to back there. You were meant to find each other. That was the best you could come up with and it was fine with you.
-
You decided to plan a date for you and Ellie. She was usually the one that did, being the creative one out of the two of you. But you wanted to do something nice for her.
You settled on a picnic. The past few days had been sunny and warm enough for it. You hauled to the kitchen and prepared everything you needed. The snacks, the drinks, the plates and the cutlery, checkered blanket and all. You even got her flowers earlier that morning.
As your girl rang your bell one more time to pick you up, you grabbed the basket and the flowers and opened the door.
“Hey, beautiful.” She said as she pulled you in for a kiss. You hum into the kiss.
“These are for you,” you tell her as you hand her the bouquet.
“Are you serious?” She asks with a grin on her face.
“Of course, I’m serious.”
“God, you are” kiss “so fucking” kiss “cute” kiss
You giggle into her kisses. “I take it you like them?”
“I love them. You are the first girl to give me flowers, you know?”
“I am?” You ask incredulously.
“Yeah.”
“All the other girls were stupid, then.” She laughs.
She drives to your destination. A pretty forest you had found upon a quick internet search for a good picnic spot. The pictures didn’t lie, the place was beautiful. Green foliage and perfectly cut grass with the perfect amount of sun and shade. You set up the whole thing, enjoying the evening with Ellie.
Ellie was convinced she could stare at you for hours. From how you move your hands when you talk, to how you tilt your head back slightly when you laugh, to how you pout your lips and twist them to the side when you are thinking, you drive her mad.
And maybe it’s the way the sun is hitting your back, making a halo form around your silhouette. Maybe it’s the way the green compliments your skin so beautifully, so familiarly. Maybe the way the warmth of the day and yours mix together and embrace her, making her vision slightly hazy. Maybe the way the sound of the breeze hits the leaves and the sound of the birds chirping mixes with your voice and creates a song she’s sure she’s heard before. But Ellie has lived this before. She has seen you like this before.
She almost gets whiplash from it, all of it coming back to her at once. The day at the cafè wasn’t the first time you two met, and she remembered now.

Two can play at that

clingy!reader who won’t stop distracting college!Ellie when all she wants to do is finish her damn report
“you’re up early?”
This woman could be the end of you and you wouldn’t even care.
All things considered. you’re not a possessive girlfriend by any means, just too damn addicted to Ellie Williams. And that’s putting it mildly. It’s her world and you’re just simply living in it. You reckon she’s got some sort of gravitational pull on you, locked in her orbit. Only time will tell what will become of you. But you know what you’re not even mad—
“shh. I’m being a real adult today.”
Your girlfriend has a finger drawn to her lips, green eyes fixed to the laptop screen. She glances up at you for split fraction in time, only you would go that route.
The pout you’re currently giving her, it’s cute and all. In fact it takes everything in her power not to give in. To smother you in kisses, her precious precious girlfriend, caress your hair, whisper sweet nothings—
But she can’t.
not gonna give in
Ellie knows your tactics by now. It always starts off like this, you feign an innocent look. Play the role of the caring girlfriend.
“babe you study too hard. how about a little break?”
There’s a glint in your eye, Ellie can feel your body heat all the way from here. She swallows, looks away.
“can’t. need to finish this lab report”
Screw the paper. She almost says
A little break?
Pftt yeah right
In your world that translates to something else, that does not pertain to a little “break”, more so your fingers between her thighs. Something along those lines—
Is that what you want?
Perhaps so, and maybe you’re a brat, it’s not like Ellie doesn’t have responsibilities outside of you, there’s college, assignments, lectures, but you can’t help it. The prospect of waking up to a cold bed, rather than your girlfriend’s tender touches isn’t exactly your ideal way to spend a Sunday.
“why do you even need a degree anyway? like, for real? you have me.”
You’re still in that sleepy stupor as you say this, slurring your words a tad bit, your right arm supporting your frame. Ellie notes the way you rub at the knot in your neck. Almost tempted to hurl her laptop, take you in her arms immediately.
One strap of your top slides down. She bites her lip, tries hard not to stare, but her gaze does linger momentarily. Trailing alongside your lips, your jaw, your collarbones, your breasts. In an alternative universe, she kisses you hungrily, takes you, slow and steady, phantom moans ricocheting around her dorm
But she can’t give in dammit she still has so much to do.
Instead she grins, brow raised, green eyes challenging you, a look that screams
Is that so?
Her eyes flicker back to the screen, pretending to ignore you but then goes
“right cause it’s totally your life’s ambition to be my sugar mommy.”
Voice laced with amusement.
“are you saying that’s not the plan here? cuz I kinda thought it was the end game...like forever.” you retort
She can almost taste your shampoo.
Fuck
Whenever your words border anything remotely shocking. Or something Ellie doesn’t anticipate. She’s a goner. Your girlfriend’s so damn cute sometimes, and hot the way her ears go red, face flushed, and you swear even her freckles multiply by the minute.
Ellie’s voice hitches in her throat, fingers faltering on the keyboard. On cue her cheeks turn pink.
Damn you
She feigns aloofness, like your cheeky remark didn’t have the desired effect. Her mind blanks for a sec.
“oh. my. god— you’re really gonna get clingy on me, huh?”
my clingy clingy girlfriend
You have her wrapped around your little finger and she knows it.
“I’m not clingy” you frown. You look ridiculously cute, battering your eyelashes like that.
Ellie snorts, you continue
it’s not my fault I want you to myself
“—just wanna spend time with you and snuggle you”
and take care of you
and make sure nobody hurts you
But you don’t say all that.
Ellie tilts her head, her smile so endearing, she closes her laptop. Slowly gets up from her seat.
“yeah? and go on couple-y picnics under the moon? buy me flowers? all romantic n’ shit.”
And just like that you’re in a trance.
“maybe i’ll just leave my physics degree—”
You see the way Ellie watches you curiously, approaching with caution, green eyes fixed, never leaving yours.
“—and just focus all my energy on your needs and wants instead?”
She’s being rhetorical. Of course she is. Perhaps two can play at that.
You gulp. Her gaze unwavering. Throat tightening. You know how Ellie is, she can be a real sucker for romance and a total sap sometimes. But right now, there’s an intensity to her gaze. She’s got you in the palm of her hand. But you won’t let her win so easily.
“that’d be great actually—”
You challenge, tongue heavy, words tumbling out faster than you anticipated.
“—in fact, I think you should just drop out and take all your pretty things and come live with me”
Ellie moves closer and closer, she’s getting in your personal space, exactly where you want her. The air is getting heavier, warmer. Her breath tickles your jaw. You shift your body further back, head touching the headboard. There’s a softness to her voice.
You smell like strawberry scented shampoo.
“maybe you should move into my dorm.”
Breathy whisper. It’s teasing. It’s tempting—
god she’s pretty
“is that the plan then? to be all sweet to me until i’m head over heels in love with you?”
Ellie smiles more and more, her lips curl into that impish grin, she wraps her arms around your midsection, leaning her forehead against yours. You wish you could press her to the sheets, pull her against you but you can’t. Not yet. She’s doing all the touching, taking all the initiatives, the power is in her hands while yours is shaking.
“oh yeah I’ll be very sweet—” she moves lower, down your jaw, kissing along the arch. You feel your skin heat up.
“—until you’re madly, deeply in love with me” her voice sultry.
Ellie parts the hair from your face, making you tingle. You’re dizzy, head spinning. Pink lips finding the nape of your neck, gently nipping. Oh dear god. She’s playing with fire.
You tug down her body, hands on her back, settling on her ass. Squeezing ever so lightly, urging her on.
Ellie holds back a moan.
You bite down on her neck. Not hard enough to leave a mark. But hard enough that she groans in retaliation, you’ve no intentions to hurt her though. As some sort of consolation, you suckle, nibble, kiss, then nibble again. You’ve always known how vulnerable she is around her neck area.
“sorry baby”
Ellie pulls at your hair, leaning her whole weight into you, she’s not trying to hurt you either. Hips grinding, eyes half closed, lips parted.
“I know a way you can make it up to me?”
God the way her voice is laced with underlying meaning.
“how…” you murmur softly, voice raspy. Breath coming short in waves, there’s a heavy heat building up inside you.
Ellie grins, plants a kiss to your lips before getting up.
“by letting me finish this damn report”
All you can do is stare after her. Blatant stare. The look on your face is palpable, red.
You’re panting, mind spinning. You’re such a mess, a hot mess. As if that hadn’t been established a long time ago—
“you’re such a dick you know that?”
You pout a little. You’re not sure whether to be annoyed, laugh, or just be completely enamored.
Can she blame you?
You’re just aren’t used to not having her undivided attention.
INVISIBLE STRING
E. Williams
I love her sm

I don’t know when these feelings started, the flutter in the depths of my stomach and my brain just turns to sludge when she places her hand on the small of my back. Slowly leading me out in the snow, I can feel her eyes on me as I just stand.
I’m still as the snow flutters around me, I’m fighting urges to just fall into the snow; the pillowy snow.
“It’s so quiet” I hear her whisper, she steps closer and I feel her hand slowly reach for mine, “I like this. It feels..”
“Good.. peaceful almost. Like nothing scary is actually going to come for us” I finish for her.
The way she looks at me, the way her eyes flick over my body and I see her knees buckle a little; like she wants to step closer. But somethings holding her back.
“Ellie” I mumble, nervously licking my lips against the cold air. The wind that makes my eyes water and how the snow clings to my lashes.
She whispers my name; so quiet against the howl of the wind, “it’s bad..” I hear gently. I feel like I’m losing my mind; that something in my heart just draws me closer and closer to her.
“What is?” I question, and I’m leaning closer and closer to her.
“How badly I want to kiss you”
Her words don’t even still in my mind before I almost throw myself onto her, pressing my lips against her. It’s sloppy and uncoordinated but something about it feels right. And comfortable like this is where we’re supposed to be.
Her hand wraps around me, the curve of her elbow slowly deepening the kiss by resting on my waist.
When we break for air we’re giggling like little kids as her lips are close to mine, our noses brushing against each other, I take her hand and fall back into the snow.
She smiles; turning away from to catch her breath, “I like kissing you” she says; just before she grabs a pile of snow and throws it into my face
