                 ellie  chuckled  with  a  shake  of  her  head  ,  she  was  pretty  self  aware  these  days  and  she  knew  what  she  was  like.  one  of  the  reasons  why  she  had  been  so  shocked  that  dina  had  feelings  for  her.  ‘  i  think  my  girlfriend  would  disagree  ,  but  its  part  of  the  charm  i  would  say.  ‘  ellie  joked  with  a  shrug  of  her  shoulders.  ‘  this  setting  is  definitely  a  chance  of  pace  than  what  ive  been  getting  back.  ‘

"I'm sure you aren't insufferable! Everyone has something to like about them. But it sounds like you had an interesting life! I've never left this town, so it's always interesting to hear about traveler's experiences." Thoma gave the other a bright smile, shrugging a little. "I might not need to go anywhere but it's nice to hear about new places."

                vex  a  smile  pulled  across  her  lips  as  she  watched  him  from the doorway  behind  the  counter.  ‘  im  just  packing  up  the  last  of  the  leftovers  if  you  wanted  to  help  with  that.  ‘  there  was  a  couple  things  that  they  could  sell  the  next  day  ,  but  most  of  it  would  be  donated  to  the  local  shelter  since  they  didnt  like  to  just  toss  them  out.  ‘  how  was  work?  ‘

Stepping into the bakery, Percy smiled as Vex poked her head out of the back. "Just got off...figured I'd stop by and see if you needed any help closing?" It was all still a bit jumbled in his head, the jittery nerves he got being around her in their fake life before and now having the knowledge that not only were he and Vex together but she'd agreed to marry him clashing in his head. Though what did make sense was him finding her perfect in any world they found themselves in, Percy smiling abit at that thought before he moved to lock the door. "Is there anything I can do?"

               jean  staid  quiet  as  dulic  talked  ,  since  this  was  a  conversation  well  into  the  making.  this  tension  had  been  here  since  he  left  the  knights  ,  but  it  was  also  one  that  needed  to   be  had  and  she  had  been  scared  to  bring  it  up  for  a  long  time.  but  she  needed  answers  and  it  had  been  enough  time  in  her  opinion.  jean  just  wanted  him  to  know  that  he  didnt  have  to  go  throw  it  alone  ,  and  it  always  pained  her  that  he  closed  himself  off  so  he  could.  ‘  you  have  known  me  for  a  long  time  ,  when  would  i  ever  have  just  let  you  run  off  without  at  least  checking  in.  ‘  jean  wasnt  someone  that  this  world  just  randomly  placed  in  his  life  ,  they  had  known  each  other  since  they  were  children.  he  should  have  known  a  little  bit  better  because  even  though  she  didnt  push  him  on  opening  up  didnt  mean  jean  completely  pulled  back.  ‘  if nothing else we should be sticking together.  ‘  jean  hadnt come across anyone else from home , so it was just them in a place that wasnt their home. ' if you dont want to be together than im not going to push it , but if we get sent back home we can deal with it together just like we can figure this out together. '

Diluc sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as he tried to think of a way to have this discussion honestly and not admit his feelings. This world had complicated everything, and now it seemed it was forcing him to have a conversation he had successfully avoided for years. "Jean. It wasn't ever a matter of respect in my head and I'm sorry you feel that way. Leaving seemed like the cleanest way to restore things to how they were without having to...make even more of a mess. As I've...admittedly avoided having any conversation about feelings and attachments with you since I left the knights." Looking at her finally, he took a deep breath before continuing. "Simply because I could not have an honest conversation with you about our mutual attachment and not end up telling you how I feel. Our lives are...complicated, and even if we're here, somewhere different, if we are ever returned home, It wouldn't benefit you to know how deeply I care for you. That's why I left abruptly. I am truly sorry it hurt you."

              piper  had  been  so  relieved  when  she  had  found  jason  ,  with  hazel  &  percy  around  had  been  a  blessing  for  her.  so  after  finding  jason  ,  her  hope  of  finding  their  other  friends  had  been  completely  restored.  but  if  she  could  given  the  chance  piper  would  send  every  minute  with  him  if  she  could.  especially  after  everything  that  had  happened  ,  but  she  didnt  want  to  seem  obsessive.  ‘  i  have  today  off  ,  so  im  all  yours  for  as  long  as  you  want  me.  ‘   piper  assured  standing  up  from  her  chair.  ‘  besides  its  my  turn  to  pick  up  the  groceries  so  kill  two  birds  with  one  stone.  ‘

Jason smiled at her as she spoke, turning back around to face her. "There won't ever be a time where I would prefer to go somewhere alone over having you come with me. If you're busy though, I wouldn't wanna take too much of your time." he really did want her to come, wanting to spend as much time with Piper as he could while he could. However he was also trying not to be clingy, Jason knowing she likely had other things to do and other people she wanted to hang out with sometimes. "I'm always happy to have you with me."

               a  light  blush  fell  over  lumine’s  cheeks  at  xiaos  words.  ‘  please  call  me  lumine.  ‘  lumine  assured  ,  both  aether  and  xiao  being  here  could  excuse  the  lack  of  memories  for  a  while.  ‘  i  think  a  few  years  ,  im  not  really  too  sure  but  im  okay.  are  you  okay?  ‘  lumine  asked  scanning  him  to  make  sure  everything  was  okay.  ‘  im  relieved  to  see  you  if  im  honest.  ‘ 

Xiao didn't know many people, but he could pick the Traveler out of a crowd any day, anywhere. It was rare he considered someone a friend, much rarer the way he felt for Lumine. It was almost enough for him to ignore his karmic debt and let himself get close to the other. He was pleased she recognized him, smiling softly at her excitement. "I could never forget you Traveler. Have you been here long? Are you well?"

                     mel  had  a  lot  to  say  all  the  time  ,  she  knew  her  opinion  held  value.  but  in  this  moment  she  was  waiting  for  the  other  to  finish  what  he  was  doing  before  she  commented.  mel  had  wanted  to  get  din  a  gift  ,  she  had  thought  about  it  for  a  while  before  deciding  on  a  nice  watch  with  engravings.  ‘  no  i  was  actually  just  watching  ,  waiting  til  youre  finished.  ‘ 

                lumine  could  tell  looking  at  xiao  that  he  was  more  relaxed  and  not  so  troubled  ,  it  made  her  so  happy  to  know  he  was  doing  okay.  at  his  words  about  her  name  the  blush  on  her  cheeks  reddened  slightly  as  a  smile  spread  widely  across  her  face.  ‘  good  ,  you  deserve  to  relax.  ‘  lumine  had  been  thankful  to  be  reunited  with  her  brother  but  to  also  be  able  to  find  xiao  as  well  had  been  as  if  someone  had  been  listening  to  her. 

Xiao's expression softened, smiling softly at her name. "Lumine. It's a beautiful name." He was more at ease knowing Lumine was here and had her memories. "I'm alright. A bit on edge, waking up and not remembering how long I've been here, but..I don't seem to be having an averse effect on any of the people here so I am..attempting to relax." Xiao studied her as she made her admittance, nodding in agreement. "I feel much the same about seeing you."

             vi  had  been  looking  for  any  sign  of  home  or  people  from  home  ,  but  had  come  up  empty  handed  at  every  turn.  but  vi  wasnt  going  to  stop  looking  ,  the  island  wasnt  that  big  eventually  someone  had  to  show  up.  so  when  vi  spotted  the  familiar  blue  hair  in  the  corner  of  the  cafe.  vi  walked  up  in  front  of  the  table  ,  ‘  cait?  ‘  /  vi  &  caitlyn  :  @allthatglxtters

                mel  nodded  her  head  ,  she  knew  how  entitled  some  people  were.  besides  she  wanted  this  to  be  prefect  for  din  and  mel  didnt  want  to  piss  the  guy  off.  ‘  i  have  this  watch  that  i  would  like  engraved  for  my  boyfriend.  ‘  mel  said  pulling  put  the  box  that  she  had  bought  the  watch  in.  holding  it  out  to  the  other  man  so  he  could  take  a  look  at  it  ,  ‘  i  just  wanted  to  know  if  you  could  engrave  something  on  this  for  my  boyfriend.  ‘

"Ah, then thank you. I appreciate it. Most people just immediately start talking." Percy set his tools aside, straightening to look at the other with a slight smile. "So what can I do for you? "

                 piper  blushed  slightly  at  his  words  ,  squeezing  his  hand  softly  after  he  grabbed  her  hand.  piper  leaned  up  to  give  him  a  kiss  on  his  cheek  and  nodded  agreeing  to  the  walk.  ‘  hazel  texted  me  the  list  earlier  ,  she  insisted  on  making  us  dinner  she  also  wanted  you  to  come  by  the  way.  ‘  it  was  nice  getting  to  be  a  somewhat  normal  young  adult  with  her  loved  ones. 

"I always want you with me Piper." As she stood he moved closer, taking her hand in his without a moment's hesitation. "Groceries and a walk sounds perfect. Just need to get out for awhile, but I'm always happier sticking with you." He gave her a warm smile, just wanting to relax and enjoy this life they'd been given for once. No trouble, just them and keeping an eye out for the friends they were missing. "What groceries do you need?"

                 jean  let  him  speak  ,  looking  down  towards  the  floor  as  he  went  on.  jean  never  understand  why  dulic  choose  to  exile  himself  from  everyone  who  cared  about  him.  diluc  had  build  walls  so  high  that  even  if  she  wanted  to  be  there  for  him  she  couldnt  ,  but  she  stuck  around  because  diluc  didnt  deserve  to  be  alone  and  miserable.  jean  was  starting  to  think  the  best  thing  was  able  to  just  listen  to  him  and  leave  him  alone  because  if  he  didnt  want  to  try  than  why  force  it.  ‘  youre  the  only  one  who  believes  you  shouldnt  be  happy.  if  you  really  want  to  break  up  fine  ,  ill  leave  you  alone  and  we’ll  just  see  each  other  at  work.  ‘  jean  spoke  ,  moving   towards  the  door  not  wanting  to  continue  going  in  circles.  it  had  been  clear  what  he  wanted  and  she  would  let  him  have  it.   

“Checking in, absolutely. You have my phone number, I figured you’d know it was me being, well, me.” Diluc sighed, understanding his logic was flawed. He didn’t know how to navigate this, how to correctly handle anything about this situation. Sighing, he rubbed his face, knowing he was doing this all wrong. "Jean, it's not a matter of wanting to be together or not, it's a matter of should. I'm used to being alone, handling things alone. And you're an exceptional leader who's used to the Knights and..all of that. Ugh, I'm not saying any of this correctly."

Pinching the bridge of his nose, Diluc was quiet for just a moment before speaking softly. "It's unwise to be together because if we go back we wouldn't then stay together. You'd go back to being in the knights, I'd go back to my business. Letting it turn to more just, isn't wise."

                 ‘  no  need  to  thank  me.  ‘  ayaka  assured  him  with  a  reassuring  smile  trying  to  ease  him  a  bit.  ‘  no  i  dont  think  you  need  a  doctor  ,  it  seems  to  be  normal  unfortunately.  ‘  ayaka  sighed  softly  but  it  was  something  she  experienced  herself  as  well  so  she  knew  it  ended  at  some  point.  ‘  i  went  through  a  period  of  it  as  well  ,  it  does  get  better.  ‘  ayaka  promised  as  she  lead  him  in  the  direction  of  the  tea  house.  

"I would love to walk with you. Thank you!" Thoma smiled back at her easily, marveling at how comfortable this was even if he could not fathom how he'd somehow forgotten an entire life. "I hope so, really I cannot apologize enough I just...have no idea what's wrong with me that I can't remember you. Should I go to a doctor or something? This is crazy."

               ‘   youre  not  wrong  but  thats  apart  of  life  isnt  it?  ‘  lumine  asked  raising  her  eyebrow  at  her  brother  with  an  amused  look  on  her  face.  her  brother  had  always  been  a  little  more  on  the  annoyable  side  but  lumine  didnt  find  the  people  on  the  island  all  that  bad.  when  aether  didnt  answer  her  question  about  him  eating  which  confirmed  her  suspicions.  ‘  ive  been  fine  ,  wanna  catch  up  over lunch?  im  starving.  ‘

"I mean, it very much can be. Some people are annoying to talk to. " it was still an adjustment, being here in this world and having to switch mentalities from how life had been before. Everything had been completely different for so long, and yet being brought here, and being with Lumine again, just felt like another world for them to explore, another place with stories to learn. It was jarring, and Aether still struggled sometimes to relax and trust that he could be at peace. "Nothing really. Just around too many people I suppose. Ignore me. How have you been?" She was probably more than a little right about him being hungry though, Aether realizing he wasn't sure when he'd eaten last now that he was thinking about it.

                 vi  didnt  think  twice  before  hugging  caitlyn  back   tightly  ,   she  was  so  relieved  to  know  that  caitlyn  was  alive  and  well.  vi  really  didnt  want  to  let  her  go  but  didnt  push  it  when  caitlyn  pulled  away  from  her.  ‘  i  thought  the  same  thing  ,  im  glad  youre  okay.  ive  been  looking  for  you  since  i  got  my  memories  back.  ‘

Caitlyn had been coming up empty on anything or anyone familiar in awhile now. She wasn't not looking anymore, it was slowly starting to feel hopeless. That is until suddenly the person she'd been looking for most appeared in front of her at a cafe table. "Vi?" Without skipping a beat, Caitlyn was on her feet and hugging the other close, so relieved and happy to see her. That is until her thoughts caught up and she realized she was being clingy, Caitlyn gently shifting back with a blushing smile. "Sorry, I...I can't believe you're here! I was starting to think I was alone."

               ayaka  patted  the  space  next  to  her  for  thoma  to  come  join  her  ,  ayaka  had  missed  thoma’s  cooking.  he  had  always  known  how  much  of  things  to  add  and  she  had  always  been  amazed  by  his  talent.  ‘  of  course  ,  ive  missed  your  cooking.  you  arent  taking  up  any  time  ,  i  like  having  you  around.   ‘  ayaka  promised  him  sincerely  with  a  soft  smile  looking  up  at  him.  

Thoma smiled at the blush on her cheeks, for some reason happy he’d made her smile while also being uncertain if she was blushing over him. She was, right? Yet that weird familiar feeling that he expected were his memories trying to surface just said no, that Ayaka didn’t blush for him. “You’re welcome! I was hoping you’d like it. And, of course! I’d love to, but are you sure? I don’t want to take up too much of your time..”

               despite  her  help  in  teyvets  affairs  she  never  truly  cared  much  about  what  was  going  on.  she  had  always  seen  it  as  a  means  of  eventually  finding  and  being  reunited  with  aether  in  the  end.  but  her  feelings  surrounding  the  adeptus  was  very  different  ,  lumine  cared  about  xiao  and  what  happens  to  him.  he  was  one  of  the  few  people  who  didnt  want  anything  from  her   ,  lumine  never  felt  like  she  had  to  be  anyone  but  herself.  ‘  i  would  still  call  it  a  win.  ‘  lumine  assured  with  a  smile.  ‘  how  are  you  adjusting?  ‘

Xiao still worried about how his karma could affect others, being that most no one here had any Visions, but they also weren't from Teyvat, so perhaps the people here were protected. He was hoping so, as no where really afforded a lot of solitude. But seeing Lumine here was a relief in itself. She was capable, and he trusted her and her abilities more than he did...most anyone else alive. "Relax might be putting it generously, but...I'm certainly much less busy."

              vex  had  started  to  really  enjoy  cooking  and  baking  during  her  time  in  ivycove.  sure  there  was  stuff  about  it  that  she  hated  like  cleaning  the  plans  but  had  learned  that  she  actually  liked  cooking.  she  didnt  get  much  of  a  chance  to  explore  that  before  in  tal'dorei  with  everything  that  had  been  going  on.  a  big  smile  crossed  her  lips  when  he  took  a  bit  of  the  food.  leaning  over  to  grab  the  bottle  of  seasoning  she  had  been  working  with.  ‘  i  know  i  dont  have  to  ,  can  i  do  a  nice  thing?  ‘

"You know I can assist, you don't have to do all of the cooking." Percy didn't know quite what to do himself standing near her in the kitchen after she'd informed him she was cooking, and then suddenly she was holding out a spoon, the man smiling softly at how cute he found the gesture before carefully taking the bite. "It's good. Possibly could use some more seasoning, but it's good."

                    ‘  we  can  talk  about  it  later  and  i  can  help  fill  in  information  if  you  want.  ‘  vex  assured  ,  she  knew  how  jarring  it  felt  and  wanted  to  help  him  in  any  way  she  could.  percy  had  helped  her  through  so  much  and  she  wanted  to  be  able  be  there  for  him  if  he  needed  her.  ‘  who  says  ,  i  recall  we  linked  in  til  death  mr  de  rolo.  ‘  vex  spoke  putting  her  hands  on  her  hips.  

"I remember some. I can say in good confidence that I don't remember everything. The memories that are clearest feel like some time ago. Whitestone and the Briarwoods, some of dealing with the dragons, but it's..disjointed. It's...truly, I'm fine, it's just processing I suppose." He smiled faintly before chuckling. "Not sure that vow applies to dealing with the same burdens twice in one lifetime."

                   jean  stopped  in  front  of  the  door  ,  the  anemo  user  grabbed  onto  the  door  knob  listening  to  him  speak  jean  closed  her  eyes  for  a  moment.  jean  didnt  want  to  be  insensitive  to  his  feelings  but  she  felt  like  they  just  kept  talking  in  circles.  ‘  if  what  you  want  doesnt  matter  ,  than  what  i  want  wont  either.  ‘  jean  put  his  keys  to  the  apartment  on  the  table  next  to  the  hotel  door  before  opening  it  to  leave , everything in her screamed to stay but she knew diluc and he never did anything he didnt want to.  ‘  ill  see  you  at  work.  ‘

“It’s not that I don’t believe I shouldn’t be happy. And that…”. Diluc rubbed his face, everything in him just filled with dread about being honest. Speaking bluntly about himself and what his father’s death and his fight with Kaeya and everything after had done to him. “I lost all faith in everyone and everything I believed in that day. Everything about me changed, you know this just as well as anyone. And this world might’ve made me …lighter again for a moment, but with my memories returned, and who I am now. I’m not the me you ever had any interest in. And back in Mondstat, well. It puts you in a difficult position, being with someone who has no faith in the organization you work for. I believe in you, but not the Knights. Not anymore. I’m…What I want doesn’t matter.” Diluc sighed before looking at her fully as she started to leave. "What do you want Jean?"

                lumine  shook  her  head  shyly  at  his  question  of  if  she  needed  something  ,  she  hesitated  slightly  hoping  that  she  wouldnt  scare  him  off.   ‘  no  i  was  actually  hoping  that  maybe  you  would  like  to  go  out  tonight?  ‘  lumine  managed  trying  not  to  blush  at  the  situation  she  had  found  herself  at  hand.

Xiao was surprised at the question, studying her as he nodded easily. "Of course I am free. Do you need something?" Even if he had plans, he would've dropped them in an instant for Lumine. He preferred no one's company quite as much as he craved hers, and if she wanted to spend time with him he was there.
