I do enjoy being entertained by Claire Foy and Andrew Garfield; they were lovely together in Breathe (2017). Will be interested to learn how the adaptation of the Blyton book goes.

If I had to select a children's book for Mr. Garfield to explore a make believe place (as an audiobook perhaps) it would be The Phantom Tollbooth (1961) by Norton Juster as it has some wonderful elements and the protagonist, Milo accompanied by the amazing dog, Tock, learns to appreciate learning about the world around him (and Ms. Foy would be a talented Faintly Macabre, the not-so-wicked-witch who is actually a which.) However, I can also understand the appeal of the two English actors working with an English children's story and look forward to seeing what comes of it.

dear diary hoping they run with the headcanon that George is not *just* a tomboy we shall see all my Julian fantasies come to life I'm a huge fan of the 1995-97 adaptation as well bbc please do NOT go down Netflix route and make it unnecessarily dark just to make it realistic and current time appropriate let them be kids with dumb bravado and an annoying knack of finding trouble enid blyton you were a significant part of my childhood

Mine were Enid Blyton's Famous Five series, and Roald Dahl's Matilda and the BFG.
