Firts Post is a Rage! Great Start

Okaay, so I almost always keep my opinions to myself, but this recent episode of My Candy Love really made me uncorfortable. Not only with the content of the game, but also with the Fandom. So I will put it in topics: 

1st - AMBRE: This girl did nothing wrong! Stop putting women against women, STOP! She is single and free. She may have done some shit things, but she is a teenager and in this episode she did NOTHING WRONG!!!!

2nd - ARMIN: He was the WRONG ONE! I admit I didn’t see it at first, but after seeing @suziesamico talking about the scene and reading the whole thing again (but now paying attention to it) I can see that he took advantage of her feeling lonely, and at the start of the dialog it’s pretty clear that she wasn’t into him. 

3rd - CANDY RELATIONSHIP: I fell like this is going too fast. We barely even know our boyfriend! They don’t actually have any dates, talk about thenselves, about their families and likes. THEY DONT HAVE CONVERSATIONS. But everyone thinks is fine that they go do the do now? Please fandom, thats not a healthy relationship. They just makeout.... it’s kinda sad... they were better before dating, at least they would do something else =/

4th - PEGGY: I was starting to like her. But girl. What you did was SOOO BAD! Why be so shitty on the last day? Why put you friend felling more down then she already was? It just make me think that you would be that kind of horrible journalist that doesn’t care about ethics or the truth. 

Just so I don’t just complain abou the game I will also list what I liked: 

The clothes are beautiful. Loved seeing girls not wearing dresses and still rocking it! Kim <3 Prya <3 

Also loved seeing all of them togheter and being friends, just wished we had more of Violet in this episode as well. 

Iris mom and Patrick, I want to see more of it. i think they would make a great artistic couple. <3 

Also the way Candy’s parents reacted to her boyfriend was better than I expected, I was mature and I liked it.

More on the Ambre case

So I see that there are still a lot of drama and crontroversy about this and I feel like both sides have a point and I just want to but in some more to give more explanations (on my point of view). 

The biggest problem about this scene is that there is little to no explanation about how the characters ended up in that situation, and it’s up to the players to imagine about it. So in my head there are two different options: 

1st - Amber was a little down, she was without her friends and she doesn’t have a good relationship with the rest of the class. She decided to take a break and went to the locker room. Armin saw that she was down, and even though they are not the best of friends, they were partners in chemistry for a long time. So he decided to check on her. 

2nd- Amber was alone and felling down in a corner, Armin saw her and decided that this was an opportunity to “get to her”. He approached her, she got annoyed,and went to the locker room. He followed and kind of insisted until she gave in. 

If the first one is what happened, I’m totally okay with it. They are both single. And I have nothing against they having a fling or even developing it into becoming a couple. And I understand that a lot of you might have just thought about this point (it was my first perception as well) and I don’t judge. It is a possibility and as long as no one hate on Amber, I’m very fine with it. 

BUT

The character history that we have up until know show us that: Ambre is a very easialy influenced by others, we can all remenber Charlotte. Also we have more information about her past than on our boyfriends, we know that she doesn’t have good parents, and that her mother is very bad to Ambre confidence and self love. And Armin is sometimes shown to be  aloof to what other people are going throug, I mean even his own brother was very disturbed and sad and he was too absorbed in his own things to notice. Furthermore he was always saying bad things about her.

So that make it kind of hard for me to belive in the first option, and that what made some of us angry at Armin attitude and how the whole thing happened. The problem is again lack of background and development. This episode was short, so why not give us more information about this crack ship. They could mention something about the chemistry class, show him approaching her first as a friend and asking if she was down on the party, and then letting the kiss happen. 

I wish I could have enjoyed this couple more. I like the idea of the other boys finding girls, they can’t be “ITS CANDY ORE NO ONE”. It’s dumb and unrealistic. The issue was again lack of development. Maybe they will explain more about it on the following episodes and all. So I’m going to wait. I really like the game and I want to keep playing it, but its getting so rushed and its making me sad. 

Sorry about making so long posts, I’m not used with sharing opinions. So I just write all that is in my head. Hope you guys can understand it. Just to finalize it, both opinions are okaay, just respect and try to understand each other. It’s not a war, and as long as everyone has good arguments we can talk about things and share our interests about the game. 

JUST STOP WITH AMBRE HATE! SHE ISN’T PERFECT BUT WOMEN ON WOMEN HATE IS SO OLD! STOP IT! 

Less people hating on Ambre more concerned about Peggy actions!!!!!!
