Experimental sketch thing- 45 min - 1hr 30 min??...The flow of this piece was interrupted several times (parents wuu) so I don't know the exact timer (and about 3/4ths of the way through i realized my brush was on a wonky setting) but I managed to salvage it to a sort of presentable state..,  colorwise I initially wasn't sure what i wanted either so the values are shittier here, but I think the end result is OK....

for awhile I've been thinking about making an ongoing/sporadically updating comic that strictly features episodes between these two just for fun (it'd most likely be slice of life/interpersonal stuff with drops of action/comedy/drama/sci-fi/supernatural etcetc with a big overarching plot), but Idk how people would receive it or if it'd be of interest

I just found your [ESC] comic, and it is so amazing! I am eagerly awaiting the next update on it, I want to know more about Caeles and his backstory! I hope you're able to work on it soon, because it's very good. I adore you and your artwork, and the short animation you did of the heart transplant scene too! Honestly, I just enjoy all of your work! :D

?!!?! It makes me happy beyond belief that people are finding out about my comic and they’re enjoying what little I have of it and are curious about what happens next, even if it isn’t far, and that you enjoy all my work regardless of what I do. Thank you!! I will definitely get back to [ESC] when I shove more work projects off my plate! I just want to be able to focus on it better. :]

Hm... I wish you had asked me this off anon because I don’t feel comfortable putting my home address out there in the open for lots of people to see. I do indeed have a resume that lists my address ( for career purposes), but it’s currently outdated- so I will need to update that. Thanks for reminding me! I will see to updating that soon.

Yup! He spawned an entire snow-covered Christmas 'tree’ out of light and snow, in the last comic I made of him.. if you want to know what else he can do with it, he can do similar things as he can with soldified light. A few examples including making ice sculptures or stairs, freezing over things... Instant ice cream?

Depends on how focused I am/how detail the art is? I’ll try my best to list what I can do. I dunno why people are interested in my speed because I’m slow in terms of posting any form of art.

Art Speeds (approximate)

Pixel Art. Time is variable depending on details, animated or not, etc. 10min-1 hour

Comics. depending on details again, 20min for sketch comic up to 5 hours for full color/polish.

Digital Paintings/Illustrations. 30 min-1 hour for simple character/simple BG, 5 hours-16 hours for anything above and beyond that depending on detail

Hand-Drawn 2D Animation. Several hours for a short clip. Full color animation for 1 minute will probably take me a week or two.

Video Compositing (assuming images are ready), several hours to a day or two.

3D Model. depends on what I’m modelling. A vehicle will probably take anywhere from 1-3 hours. Architecture also depends on exterior or interior. Several hours. Characters is relatively untouched (allergic) territory for me, so I dunno. 

3D Animation. a semi-complex short will probably take 1 -3 days to piece and render together? (this is assuming the model is rigged and everything is set up, like lighting and environment )

I haven’t really touched this program in awhile, I randomly remembered it from being reminded/seeing a similar animation technique used somewhere, so I wanted to try it again as a break in between other work. I think someone a long time ago wanted me to do one of Galvan, so there it is. The first one is a custom animation, 2nd/3rd is preset one.

for @0chromat , its a week late but it’s for his birthday. Steel is a very hardworking dude, does alot and asks for little in return. ;w; So, I hope your birthday was fun and I hope you enjoy this!
