not a request, but i'm curious, do you have any playlists you listen to while you write? do you listen to different genres depending on what you're writing, or do you just write in silence?

Writing in complete silence sounds like fucking torture LMFAO

I need to listen to music when I'm writing, or I'll go insane, but it needs to be in a language I don't understand. If I listen to music in a language I know, it'll throw me off base and influence what I'm writing a little too much.

Kpop is usually the first genre I go for, just because I already have so much of it in my playlists. It's pretty straightforward: if I'm writing fluff, the songs gotta be happy, sappy, and sweet; angst is obviously gonna be sad songs.

For smut, I'll listen to music for the build up, but when I write the actual smut, I've started listening to audios instead! There are a few specific people I like, but for the sake of the minors here I'll keep that to myself. You can absolutely dm me for links or names, though!
