I have a LOT. As stated in the og post. The one I’ll be rambling on is the one that’s been stuck in my head a lot lately.

It’s the scar soulmates. Well a variant of it. Whenever your soulmate is hurt and it is destined to scar. You will get a tattoo like mark the same shape as the wound in the same area. So imagine the deputy covered in three types of flowers. (One for each brother and their respective scars) so the dep is COVERED. half their face (Jacob) and their body. I feel like in this AU the dep was raised by a healthy if not super protective family. So the brothers have no flowers. Making them think they are soulmateless. But during the game. As the dep is hurt and obviously scarred. Flowers start to cover the brothers. Covering their skin all over. There are two situations that could be when the brothers realize the dep is their soulmate. When John cuts wrath into their skin or when Jacob puts them through the trials.

To clear up any confusion. I think the flowers make it almost impossible to make out words. Hint why the brothers didn't realize the dep was theirs (the sins on their skin) and in-game they almost never see the dep shirtless unless you have that crop top shirt on as a female dep

I'm def planning to expand more on this idea but im just so hyped y'all noticed my post XD and wanted to get as much as I could out rn!

Soulmate marks are the first words that are spoke to them. However, before meeting your soulmate if they are in enough emotional stress the other soulmates can feel it and send comforting feelings back. In Hope of calming them down.

During the sermon. The seed brothers' soulmate has been buzzing with nerves for a few hours now. Causing Joseph to stutter over words. Stop speaking for moments to breathe. While John fidgets in place. Glancing around nervously. Jacob is not better at hiding it. But there are still small signs. When the helicopter crashed their soulmate's fear nearly made John collapse. Joseph hid it better. Felt he had to as he spoke down to the Jr deputy. Had to hide it from his flock as they helped him out. However, the moment he shouts the words “begin the reaping” Joseph is knocked down. He holds his wrist where his soulmark lays as it burns. Pure unfiltered terror crashes from it consuming him. For a worrying moment, Joseph thinks his soulmate is dying. A voice. Faint. Almost impossible to hear. Echoes from their soulmarks. A shout saying they don't want to die. While Jacob and John sit on the floor back at the church. Surrounded by the flock. Joseph is on his knees begging his soulmate to calm down. Just for a moment. It isn't unheard of for a soulmate to be able to speak through the bond if something truly scary is happening. Fortunately, it also means their soulmate isn't dead. Yet. As Joseph watched the junior deputy run in fear. He can't help but think his soulmate sounds very similar to the Deputy. A struggling shout leaves him. Demanding his flock catch his soulmate before he even realized he demanded it. He watched with wide eyes as his flock dropped their guns In panic. Realizing they were shooting their father's soulmate. Before they are all running full speed into the woods

Human Joseph

Human Joseph is a drunk. Hung up on the death of his wife and daughter. After their deaths, he left to find his brothers. After a few years, he finds them and drags them to live with him. He is always drunk mumbling about his daughter the most

Joseph met rook after finding John. He didn't immediately like Rook. Finding him invasive and an annoyance.

When rook starts disappearing more and more joseph didn't care. Until he heard rook rambling to John about some other brothers. It was strange and he became slightly worried. He doesn't like the idea of rook wandering off after that. Often trying to keep him at home. Yet somehow roo always sneaks off

4. Joseph starts to actually fall for rook when rook starts putting in a weird amount of effort into their relationship. He even buys Joseph a bible and reads it to him when Joseph can't bring himself to bother. Joseph slowly stops drinking and tries to better himself and frowns very fond of rook

Human John

John and rook are best friends. Rook met John when he was adopted as a child. Rook had befriended John and has comforted him through the abuse. And had even moved in with John as an adult. John is probably the only reason rook lives with the brothers in present time.

When John had first recommended moving out to live with johns brothers rook wasn't a fan. He believed it wouldn't hell John with his substance abuse and womanizing behavior. However he ended up agreeing.

John fell for rook years ago in highschool. He fell for rooks dorky behavior and a weird hero complex. He was beaten severely by his adoptive parents when they found out about his unholy feelings for a boy. So he pushes those feelings down. Thus has led to his womanizing behavior and most woman he sleeps with ether look or has the same personality traits as rook.

After moving in with johns brothers John started staying home more. Meaning he was bringing women over more. It began to wat at him when he noticed how close Joseph was acting with rook. He was feeling replaced. Especially when he realized rook was always leaving the house. John ended up throwing a huge fit demanding rook to stay home more. This worked for a while.

human jacob 1: the war had scarred jac ob. he is jumpy. anyways ready to attack those near him. when his brothers find him he had attacked joseph thinking he was a fake his mind made up again. he hurt joseph badly thanks to that. the guilt made him swear to follow joseph everywhere. he takes a lot of meds to help him remain calm. these pills tend to mellow him out so much he is a quiet person who cant bring himself to talk. he later replaces the pills with hunting

2:jacob was to high on meds at first to realize there was another person hanging around the house. when he started throwing the meds away and finally realized another guy was around he got stressed. very untrusting and angry with rook. eventually he drags rook out hunting in hopes of scaring him away. it doesnt work and infact makes rook clingy during the trip. he realizes rook isnt even strong enough to do anything even if he was here to hurt the others so he gives up on that thought.

3:jacob was the last to fall for rook. when rook started disapearing he could careless. until rooks absence started to make the other brothers started to worry. he started to follow the other man often. he found the small door thanks to this. went he tried to open it later in the day it was bricked up. he had gotten upset and kept following rook throughout the day. it started slow. he realized some of rooks quirks are kinda endearing. maybe even cute at times.

4:jacob fully fell for rook when he had saw rook save johns life. john had dragged rook on a hike and jacob followed. a wolf had cornered john and rook. in a panic rook had lured the wolf away. jacob grabbed john and later went back for rook. he found rook enjured but alive. the wolf dead sorry for spelling mistakes. i am still working on my spelling and im on a laptop. this post is unrelated to my poll.
