Discord said long-haired Danny, so long-haired Danny it is.
Getting closer to February 2:nd

In other words, the demo is up, and I am not dead.

I am so normal about this

Just started reading 'Fallen Hero: Rebirth' and wanted to give a face for my anti-hero emo dude Luke Travis.
Thanks @westealtoys for introducing me to this story. :) I guess I will get obsessed with it very soon too. :D

Rough sketch of Luke and his puppet Christine.

No clear idea yet how I will go about background (them being in some balcony/terrace, kind of?), though still wanted to share work progress of younger Ortega and my Sidestep Luke. :)
It is my first try to draw a coloured art for Fallen Hero, I am so excited ^^

Sidestep and Ortega in earlier days
In this piece tried to capture their characters' and age difference. No clue where they are in this pic, balcony/terrace/rooftop or something like that? Just wanted to create some atmosphere heh.
Gonna add some details and mask part later of course, but really wanted to try to make a rough sketch of my Sidestep in his new costume :)

Sooooo... question for Luke. How vicious was he in the Rangers fight?

Thanks for the ask! ^^
For starters, just to know the general image about him, no matter how hard Luke tried to be a villain, he always had self doubts about his evil plans. But anyway, when the big day has come, he was excited for the show to come, of course.
Even if his empathy showed more than ruthlessness in most of the situations, Luke was quite cruel against Herald. It was probably mostly because he's a relatively new to the Rangers' crew and Luke wanted to teach him a lesson, to show the brutal side of reality. Also, Luke couldn't resist not to tell a monologue like a true villain in the very end of their fight, and of course it backfired as he got Ortega punching him from the back (that part kinda made me laugh, I mean Luke completely deserved it, what an idiot :D).
Fighting Ortega, at first Luke enjoyed that feeling of them fighting as equals, that he knows the style Ricardo fights and that Luke can win this thing. Though in the end he started having doubts again, it felt so wrong to hurt Ortega, that Luke couldn't knock him out, just left him bleeding on the ground. Luke secretly wished, that Ortega could stop him.
And Argent's fight was the most challenging one for sure. Luke tried to distract her by taunting, but she wasn't easily shaken. He barely avoided her claws way too many times so he chose to flee underground. When he realized that the fight is not over and Lady Argent found him, Luke prepared himself for an ambush. He still had hard time fighting her, so he used a vicious telepathic trick to make Argent choking, and that's the way he managed to bring her down. Although, when her unconscious body fell into the rushing water, Luke couldn't leave her to drown and dragged her up to the safe ground.
So I'd say all in all, he did some evil things during the fight and injured the Rangers quite much, but he wasn't a merciless one.

Tried to make slight evolution of the way Luke looked in events of first and second book, and it kinda turns out like psychological portraits of him too. Earlier Luke's (on left) hair is more messy, he looks deep in thought and completely confused and lacking confidence, seeing himself as a nobody. The right one is Luke after revealing himself as a villain. That portrait of him shows way more confidence and seems more relaxed and also flirty? :)
By the way, picture on his jacket is about his villain's name - Seth, which I gave after ancient Egypt's deity of chaos and violence.

Nah, I realized that I gotta draw something, so here is a moment of Sidestep's fall.
I know he was with full armor there, but I don't care, I had to draw him with his face visible to add emotion to the moment.

My lovely friend @westealtoys drew my Sidestep boy Luke Travis, also known as Seth in his villain persona for my birthday. I was very pleasantly surprised today. :)
Facial scars and fish-shaped eyeliner, moon lip piercing, minimalistic black outfit, cigarette in his hand - all of those things are so Luke, you are always admirably observant. And those Seth's horns and neon symbol look so cool. ❤
Thanks once again for this wonderful gift. ❤
Since we are circling the topic of battle scars… What's the story behind the scars Cyn has?
Here is a guide to Cyn’s scars

First fight with the Psychopator ended in the upper leg scars on both legs.
The jump out of the window during Heartbreak left assortment of tiny scars across back side of the whole body (she fell together with the glass shards).
Right after that her chest was cut to reanimate and to keep alive the body.
On the second Psychopator fight Cyn decided to help Bo and the Wolfpack and for old times’ sake went to fist fight the Re-gene. At this point she realised that cuts hurt and was happy to come back home and switch bodies asap. After that she decided to avoid injuries whenever possible.
