So I saw an anon complaining about how authors who write for poc make them “uncomfortable” and “doesn’t appreciate the way it negatively impacts the bnha community”.

As a fellow poc I thought to myself you know what? Let’s compile a list of people who write for poc. So here’s a list of the ones I know of, please add/tag any that I do not list!!!!

Did not have a praise kink until I started posting on AO3. 😭

I support all of this. I do the same, but OC’s fic is much more wholesome than mine. 😬

Have you ever written something you liked so much, you just keep re-reading it. Maybe you'll edit a little bit here or there, but mainly you just like it so much, you want to read it again? And again?

Well one of the upcoming chapters of my fic is like that. I love it so much, that I bet I've read it 20 times over the past couple of weeks. And I'd love to post it, but I need to write quite a bit of other stuff before it. I skipped ahead and wrote it out of order, because I had thoughts and needed them written down.

And the thing is, no one else might even like it. They might think it's dumb and silly and cringey. But I really really like it. So in this case, I am writing that chapter for ME, and if other people like it, awesome. But if not, I'm still gonna love it.

And I probably won't even say which chapter it is when the time comes, so as to save myself the embarrassment, but we'll see.

Just made me think of it as I'm reading it again during my lunch.

Now I need to finish the current chapter...there will probably need to be at least 2 if not 3 more in between. Otherwise it might be a bit of a jump. It depends on how I handle some things.

I'm just especially proud of it.

No one would read my fic based on OP’s metrics. I think I calculated my kudo rate at 5% of hits…But the hits keep coming.

Another AO3 thing I’m curious about, how do yall decide if something is good enough to read? Usually I follow a rule of 1 kudos for every 10 hits. One because it’s easy math and two it’s yet to fail me. Thoughts? Do you just go for it and pray it’s good?

I just write SMUT and I have this problem. So I can’t even imagine what it’s like for long form fic writers. 😱

Me to me: Don't do it. Don't rewrite the older chapters. Just leave them be. They're wonderful, you've grown as a writer, you loved them when you posted them. Just leave them, no one cares
