I honestly love Edling, it's currently one of my favorite ships in regards to FMA; I don't really ship Ed with anyone else if I'll be honest (Edwin is nice, yes, but I also think of their relationship as more platonic and familial. When I watched fma a while back I remember thinking "oh, Ed and her are such siblings! She's like a big sister to him! Are Ed and Rosé gonna kiss?") Edling's also what kinda dragged my ass back into the Fandom, I started reading edling fics and was like "oh fma how I missed you" and then the brain rot started.

I can see platonic Edling, but personally I think of them (outside of Canon obviously) as romantically involved. I see them as lovers, idk what else to say.

Ling is probably a flirt, Ed gets really flustered until he finds a few cheesy flirts from a book and tells them to Ling; Who in turn either busts out laughing or genuinely flushes by it. I see them as lil cheesy idiots, Ed getting easily flustered at something such as (scary, I know, absolutely mind boggling that he and Ling would do such a thing) hand holding or little cheek kisses. Idk they're stupid kids, and once they're adults they're just clingy messes to each other whenever they see each other (That's if the fiction has it so that Ed visits Xing sometimes but he doesn't stay and stuff. Idk I just woke up.)

I also see their dynamic as, if I had to put it in a way, Ling being poetic and sappy about love and such (We see him talk so strongly about friends and such, so I genuinely think he's a big romantic) whereas Ed is just like "uh, ok I don't know what I'm doing and I feel like exploding". I see Ed as non-comprehending of romance in the sense of he only knows from what he remembers of before Hoenhiem left. Or he does understand the basic outliers of what romance is (I don't put it past him to delve into studies of it when he gets into a relationship or even feels like he's considering it).

I don't ship it, I genuinely think Ling and Lan Fan have a sibling relationship; Or better yet she's his lesbian best friend. I see the appeal, I think it can be cute ig but I just don't see it nessicarily?

I also see Ling as seeing Fu and Lan Fan as the family he has (Similar to how I think Ed sees Pinako and Winry, as his grandmother and either sister or cousin), rather than thinking of someone such as Mei Chang as family despite bonds of blood. (Bonds through the soul, like he explained to Greed. I will keep bringing that up.)

Anyway, yeah. Nice ship, don't ship it though. But again, I'm a multishipper, *puts edling, Edwin, panwinfan, winfan, panwin, lingfan into my pocket*; I can't say that I won't like lingfan art or read a lingfan fic if I see one.

As long as it isn't sexual too. I dont like sexual shipping of these characters because they're kids. (I also think Lan Fan is greatly asexual) I forgot to say that on my Edling post.

The difference between fma 03 and fmab is that one world is when you have Ling Yao and the other is when you don't

Idk how to draw sheep. Also this is not cos Ed, I just draw older Ed's like cos Ed. But different. I won't explain.

More sheep. I was gonna draw Den but I kept messing up. Messed up on the rockbell home too.

I also had the idea, like last week when I was making sketches for the prompts, to use manga panels in order to represent memories this time.

I wanted to focus more on the clothing for this one tbh, but I'm a lazy man who doesn't feel like coloring.

I'm using kismet in a different way than intended ig? Because I'm using it as to represent their paths that they canonically go through, Ed traversing and Ling becoming Emperor of Xing.

I also added a lil bonus doodle of Ed fir no reason.

I hate this one but I'm posting it anyway

The regret is a romantic one bc COS Ed is in love with alcohol/j

But anyway, COS Ed meets bisexual prince + lion king in the bg.

Why did I make it monochrome? Idk honestly. It's not even completely monochrome either.
