Food For Mind - Tumblr Posts

Just thinking about it now...

Is the current timeline like... the only timeline where things are going to go right? Kinda like in Gravity Falls where it's revealed that there's only ONE timeline where Mable and Dipper go home together. Like for all we know, the reason why so many people assume Desmond is going to die is due to previous timelines. Like Somniere telling Riffraff what happened in previous timelines. And we know that in previous timelines, things did not go well for Erika. Like she got beat by Zavier pretty badly. But only when TJ distracts him and gets Chronos to fuck off, can the third key be obtained. Considering how drastically different the timeline is. What if this is the only timeline where Desmond survives, since TJ is around. Food for Mind.

I just had a mini lore episode and had to post it on Reddit since it was too long for Tumblr. Some Food for Mind. Long story short. The Blue Strings isn't just a way to explain why we're here. It's also like a very tragic idea of war. Forcing someone to be a soldier to protect those they care about. Because the Blue Strings essentially makes those it attached to, a soldier. Since like there was more than one vessel for the Blue Strings. The Ten Heroes. I thought about "What if there were others, what if there were children like Player, what if they didn't make it?" Since War involves lots of death and loss. Especially for the Doodle War. Safe to say shit got dark fast.

As we know, Zavier has tried to kill Player at least three times now But... as I look back in the Oasis, I realize that once Zavier knows he can't rewind time and fix any mistakes he might make He starts being more cautious, and less aggressive, as his mistakes can become permanent Which got me thinking... Is the reason why he's so willing to kill Player, is because he thinks he can bring them back after getting the keys from them. Like he is so casual about it, he isn't worried about what he says or does, because "the ends justify the means" and he can just rewind time. Or so he thinks. But considering how he can't do that. Imagine if Zavier managed to kill Player and obtain the keys. Then finds out he can't rewind this timeline. He doesn't hate Player, in fact he's like "Cya around" after sending Qilintel to bite their ankles. Considering that Quincy is friends with Player, like he definitely cares about them. Zavier just finding out he killed them permanently... Oof

I have come forth with a new sudden revelation. It's pretty much stated that nothing gets passed Suzie, no question left unanswered, she's pretty much getting as much info as she can get in the shortest period of time. But then I thought. Why? Why does she ask so many questions? Sure, it could be because she's the smart one of the group, the one who thinks of a plan quickly and has probably read the entire dictionary for fun. But I have some Food for Mind. What if Suzie asks so many questions is because she's afraid of missing something crucial and losing something. Let me cook. Suzie lost her tastebuds due to an error on Von Sweets' part and likely her parents didn't care much and didn't ask any questions or enough questions. Which resulted in her losing her tastebuds. Likely causing her to want to find out everything about something as much as she can, because she might lose something important to her again.

I have some Food for Mind. Y'know when Suzie mentioned someone promising her tastebuds back and that's the reason why she's in the Key Hunt in the first place? I have a sneaking suspicion that it's Joseph Bright. I mean who else makes such outlandish promises that sound too good to be true and relates to the Key Hunt. TJ says, "Me, the pathetic one? You are the pathetic one. Why are you even following us around? You aren't participating in the key hunt, you aren't even a tamer." And Suzie says, "...I was promised a cure to my broken tastebuds by someone." And while we don't know who that could be. I'm pretty sure it was Joseph. I mean Suzie is following us because we're collecting keys, who else wants keys? Joseph. And we've seen him promise stuff to characters like Julius about giving them an escape from reality. Things that are too good to be true. And I've already discussed here how I believe Joseph is making Charles believe he can bring back Rebeccca. A promise too good to be true. I believe Joseph is doing the same with Suzie. Just some Food for Mind. Also he's likely been to Von Sweetsvillie before the story takes place, there is some graffiti with the saying 'Return to Blank' or smth like that. And he goes there to visit Number Three.

Skimming through the entirety of the Archives. I see a distinct lack of Negative Karma! Player in the fics and that surprises me. With nearly 200 fics, you'd think there'd be one with Player acting like a total asshole. Acting like Cortés. But there isn't... Now there is a question some of y'all might be asking... 'What or who is Negative Karma! Player?' you ask. It's simply the version of Player that chooses the 'wrong' or 'bad' karma option. Being a bad person such as... >Destroying someone's family heirloom >Kicking them and laughing at that same person for no reason >Or just blatantly being an asshole towards other people, even towards people that are supposed to be their friends Negative Karma! Player is the complete opposite of Positive Karma! Player or what I call as the normal Player, the one you often see in fics. Understandable, this shows that a lot of the authors in the Archives choose the good option rather than be a blatant asshole. Since they depict their version of Player as more in line with the Positive Karma Route.

I was just listening to some Pokémon and had this Food for Mind Rebecca's last project was her Artificial Runestone project before she ended up dying, which made me question a few things 1) 'Why did she start the project in the first place?' 2) 'What could've happened during the project that led to her demise?' But to answer these things, we need an answer for just how or why she does things. From what we know that the healing stations that DoodleCo uses is highly likely made by Rebecca. And the printing machines are definitely by her. While I may not be able to bring an answer to the second one. I have an idea for the first one. ... ... My initial theory for DoodleCo's foundation is that Rebecca wanted to help doodles and people, by giving them quick access to healing, researching more about them, helping doodles. That last part. Helping doodles Keep in Mind that Rebecca's last project involved Artificial Runestones, things that help and allow Doodles that served on Verdrok's side of the war to push beyond their limits just like the Doodles that were on Somniere's side of the war. But specifically, to weak doodles. Such as Calamander. Speaking of which, it's stated that in its Doodlepedia entry. 'Many believe that without the aid of DoodleCo, its species would not continue to exist.' Considering how much DoodleCo is described as altruistic, this likely refers to both Rebecca and Charles. Rebecca is for the doodles and Charles is for the people. I have this idea that Rebecca started the Artificial Runestone project not just to help Doodles to become better in battle, but to help the doodles with whatever problem they had. Such as helping Calamander by making it feral, aggressive, so it wouldn't be eaten anymore along with making it bigger. Or Hypnotl by helping it no longer suffer from the parasite attached to its head. And Portia is merely following in her mother's footsteps in that regard. Helping these doodles overcome their inherit weaknesses. She's trying to do what her mother couldn't, respecting her last wishes. All she wanted is to make this doodle world a bit better. ... ... ... But I doubt that Rebecca ever thought of the heavy burdens her legacy and her death would leave to those around her.

I have some Food for Mind I thought I should share with y'all All of the Founder Trio, such as Charles, Rebecca and Lucas They all desire for something relating to Somniere The Doodle that represents Dreams or Fantasy in this case Something that's meant to be a metaphor for something you want to have but just not being good for you Somniere was on the side with the Blank Cultists, hence why Joseph, who is a Blank Cultist, wants to free Somniere. But keep in Mind... The existence of Runestones, the thing that Rebecca studied and tried to replicate through technology, the reason for the Runestone's existence is due to that war. And specifically, Somniere's side's doodles falling amidst the war and the souls of the fallen clumping together and entering stones. And then just before Rebecca dies. Lucas begins to have visions of the future, from Somniere, and then he wants to free it. For some reason. To confront it about what it's done, perhaps? To try and wish for a better future? Or change the past? Speaking of changing the past... I've been preaching that Charles is doing everything for Rebecca, listening to Joseph's words like a person called Julius did. About giving him 'an escape from reality' which considering what I've been saying about Joseph on Reddit about him wanting to free Somniere which is the doodle that represents dreams. All three of the Founder Trio has a key flaw. They forget the present. They're either stuck in the past or look way into the future, rather than come to terms with the present, or stay grounded in reality. Rebecca looked at the past and tried to mix the past and future technology. Lucas/Riffraff saw the future, tried to change the past, refuses to acknowledge the present, only wishes to see the future of what happens when Player gets the keys. Charles is likely stuck in the past, not moving on from what happened to Rebecca, ignoring or staying away from the present for the most part, and wants to the Keys in order to either change the future or fix the past. All of them connected to Somniere.

I have this Food for Mind Joseph was created with the ability to see the Blue String by the Blank Cultists so that way when they return, they'll have the ability to find someone with it They can win the new war just like Verdrok's side did and I have a sneaking suspicion that they specifically got someone from Rosemary's bloodline It's said after all that only Rosemary's bloodline definitively has it ... ... Honestly its fitting that Joseph and Rosemary are viewed as weird by most people and eccentric They're related after all and not just in the ability to break the fourth wall They're quite literally stated to be blood relatives ... ... Some extra Food for Mind What if Joseph was raised by hidden Blank Cultists and slowly learned their ways and became influenced by them Because barely anyone knows of the Blank Cultists' existence Only in very rare and often obscured or just hidden parts of history do you get to even hear of them, Verdrok really wanted to make sure they were forgotten Considering how horrible they were, I don't blame it So likely only those Blank Cultists that passed on their cult and influence or were in the inner circle know about it ... ... I could talk more about these Blank mfs on here

I have to rant about the Key Guardians of Doodle World. You could say it's some Food for Mind. Usually when it comes to the architype of test for the player to see if they are strong enough to progress or if they've made progress. This architype for this test is most well known as something called a 'Gym Leader' For Doodle World, their 'Gym Leader' are the Key Guardians. Just like a gym leader, you are there to defeat them and obtain something as proof of your strength. But the special thing about the Key Guardians. Unlike Gym Leaders, who do it as a job and have multiple badges. Key Guardians only have one key. Whoever beats them first that wants the key, gets it. And being a Key Guardian is something that's passed down to them through family, it's more like a duty rather than a job. The Key Guardians are the main focus of the game in many ways, I love how the game incorporates the 'badges' of the game. It's important lore and gameplay wise. You have to be the first to get the keys. Which is why Quincy and TJ are more rivals than other rivals since there is only one key for each Key Guardian. Meaning if they can't get this one key, they don't have a key. Another thing. Every Key Guardian has some kind of twist them that makes them different from even Gym Leaders. A gym challenge before you face the Gym Leader themselves. Nimbus has you go through a traditional puzzle to prove yourself worthy to fight him. The closest to a traditional gym challenge. Von Sweets... is dealing with problems and locked himself away, so you need to get him out. By beating the shit out of a bear. Erika is seemingly this strong tamer that's a typical excellent student, but only after getting to know her and you are put in danger that it's revealed she's a Key Guardian. Then she faces you once you deal with the danger. You hear that Zane is the supposed Key Guardian, after the last three being revealed directly to you, with a guy like him and so much pointing to him being the Key Guardian, the twist is that he ISN'T the Key Guardian. It's actually Victor Solis, the guy that told you to go after Zane just so he wouldn't get his hands dirty. That's the twist there. And the last twist is Anna Where instead of trying to find out the next key guardian, its outright revealed to you. And instead of trying to defeat her, you must instead protect her. All of the Key Guardians have a different twist, all that flow with their characters so well. Oh yeah, Key Guardians actually have personality. Sure, with Nimbus and Von Sweets, it's a bit hard to say. But with Erika, Zane, Victor Solis and Anna. All of them are memorable due to their respective arcs that surrounds them. I mean Erika is so loved that she's often drawn with the main cast. I love the Key Guardians and the roles they play.

Here's some Food for Mind about Zavier I had locked away but after listening to some music, I decided to share I had this idea after another Tumblr user, @luna-di brought up the whole correlation between Zavier and Quincy. When Zavier says that, "Where I come from... they call me The Savior." And he says, "I don't like that name, so how about you call me Zavier instead?" As we all know, Suzie calls Quincy 'her savior' when he sets her free in Icyridge. Thank you for reminding me about that @luna-di Now the Food for Mind that I didn't mention, but Suzie is the only character to have called Quincy 'her savior' Which naturally leads me to the idea of his people being his friends, more importantly Suzie and Player. I mean Quincy already states that he considers Suzie a friend,

Here's Some Food For Mind About Zavier I Had Locked Away But After Listening To Some Music, I Decided

It makes sense for him as Zavier, who's likely lost his people aka his friends, would be willing to do anything for them. Even if it meant creating an accidental temporal paradox even when he didn't mean it. Now onto the Food for Mind that I just suddenly had. This relates to Doodle World Tumblr's favorite sexyman, Mister Riffraff himself. Since it's about Zavier and Riffraff. Throughout the game, and especially at the last part of the Oasis. Riffraff is seen talking with Zavier, letting him monolog to someone and reveal what's been going on with him. And as per usual, I asked myself... "Why? Why would Riffraff do this?" Because I had the idea that everything he does, has a reason. Like a serious reason and not just because it's funny. > He pulled Zavier away in Von Sweets' Factory after he tried to take Player's key away. > He helped Von Sweets with connecting with his Pandashi. > He told Player that he won't be able to help them as long as Teneson was around before they go off into the Academy. And as we know from the Oasis cutscene, deep down, there is Lucas Rimbaud. A man trying to repent for the guilt he has been dealing with over the loss of someone he deeply cared about. He just hides it in a figurative and literal facade. Riffraff seems to care about these kids' safety even though the Key Hunt is dangerous. And he puts his faith that they can get through it, especially Player. What does this have to do with Zavier? Well, first off, considering that Zavier is also dealing with the loss or losses of those close to him. Perhaps even a certain sweet girl we all know. Zavier takes on the name of 'The Savior' as his people apparently used to call him that. And Suzie does. To cut the cake, Suzie is Rebecca for Zavier. ...yikes. No wonder Riffraff hangs around Zavier and even tries to find him when he can. Likely because Riffraff sees himself in Zavier and wants to help Zavier move on from that survivor's guilt. Even though Riffraff himself is still struggling with it.
