Thinking about the world the time of Saint's campaign, maybe I'm looking at it through the wrong lense, but there's something to be said about the beautiful, yet extremely bittersweet hopefulness it has IMO.

The world has been plunged into an eternal ice age, some creatures have gone extinct, the iterators have outlived their purpose from an age long past, and a new cycle is beginning to unfold.

But despite this? Life still goes on, plenty of creatures still live on, with scavenger and yellow lizard numbers increasing more than ever, what's left of Pebbles' collapsed body and Drainage System have become safe havens from the cold, despite everything, despite the bitter frosts. even despite Saint, a being capable of ascending other creatures, being there, life goes on and it will go on always no matter what.

One might look at the snowy wastelands as dead or dying... But in my opinion? that's not the case, it's not dying, it's different.

Winter 2018 notes

Howdy! I hope your year has been off to a good start! Mine is starting off very cold...

There's more people following me than i expected and i'm legitimately in shock ;;_;; thank you, sincerely. I'm going to try to update a lot more often. Right now the plan is every other day. Up until now I’ve been trying to go for really big overwhelming things even when I try to just do sketches, and i’m hoping that the increased update schedule will force me to... give up earlier? o_o.

Because of this, is there anything that anyone is particularly interested in? Since I’ve lived under a rock the past year and don't have many things to draw from, if anyone has requests, please feel free to send them! This includes tutorials if anyone is interested... I know that Krita 4.0 is coming out soon so i'm probably going to gush about all the new fun stuff when it comes around. Or, since the string (feature?) freeze was tonight and I’m impatient, REALLY soon. I'm really excited...
