Fossil Fakemon - Tumblr Posts

My submission for Mysteria Region’s fossil Pokemon contest. The stipulation was that it had to combine a mythical creature with an extinct one, so I combined fairies and Neanderthals. My inspiration was from how The Dagda in Irish mythology resembles a caveman. The first one is Faymini and it evolves into Neanderfay, with a different appearance depending on gender.

Some fakemon I came up with awhile ago based off of the famous “fish-within-a-fish” fossil at the Sternberg Museum in my home state of Kansas.
