I would just like to ask how do sky commissions for an IAP work? I've never done them before but I'm thinking of starting. Could you tell me the process of how it goes? When I should send them the artwork and all that stuff. I don't want to be scammed.

obviously these aren’t the only unofficial sky servers, but not every one allows iap trades! some servers ban them because of the risk of people getting scammed.
i’ve also heard people doing art commissions on the subreddit for sky, but i’ve never tried it so i can’t tell how much luck you can get there.
Now to answer your question, usually the potential customer messages me about the commission post i made, i ask them what they want and ask for some reference! we exchange invites the same day so we can finish as early as possible too! Also, don’t forget to decide whether or not you’re ready to open the friendship tree yourself or if you want to half it with them!
To be safe i would recommend only sending the finished art after the trade has happened, but i like to at least show the wip sketches to make sure they like the pose and proportions…. Actually if i’m being honest i don’t really think about getting scammed much, usually i send the work as soon as it’s done which is before we can even do the trade in game most of the time! But again, i recommend sending a watermarked sketch at least to prove that you are working, and if it’s a pass commission, ask the person to show that they have bought it for example.
What i value most is communication with the customer, see what both of you are comfortable with. My latest commissioner asked me outright if i’d like to send the art after the trade, but i told them i’m alright with doing it beforehand! Remember, a happy trade means more chance that the person would like to work with you again more later! Plus if the trade happens in a server they usually have a channel for reviews!

I looked through your pony art, its really cute! And the shading is super cool as well, i love how expressive they are! I think on your latest one with Shazam the legs might be a bit too short in the two drawings, maybe thats on purpose though, im not sure! I hope you draw more, I think you could make super duper cool art! I suggest experimenting with perspective to try and understand anatomy (even if its cartoonish ponies hehe). And not just perspective but maybe doing smth silly like finding horse memes and redrawing them, it's 1) fun 2) helps you practice drawing characters you like 3) helps learn how to put characters into different settings love how you draw eyes btw! Again, i am SO SORRY that I'm answering only like 3 months later, i feel ashamed... I hope that im not too late and i do hope to see more of your art in the future, dont give up please and good luck! When I took on the project I was determined to see it through! Me and my friend were even talking about making a video essay of sorts to bring attention to everything on a larger scale. But it quickly became apparent that what I wanted to do was not something I could handle, both physically and emotionally.
With an injury limiting my online time and other irl negative stuff weighing down on me, the little things tgc did became too much. And like, I was scared to admit that to the group. To make a group dedicated to gathering evidence and Seeking Justice, only to realise you can't finish what you started... It was embarrassing! So I deleted the server and my blog.
I should've handled all of that better and treated y'all with more respect. It's what you guys deserved! But I took the coward way out. I'm really sorry about that.
hi! i’m so sorry, i didn’t realize! but i’m glad that we didn’t do anything wrong to get kicked. Although, i really wish you would let us help you. We are your support system, and even now if you want to you can reach out in dms to me for anything! I don’t think you took the coward way out, but i just want to assure you that we would Not think it was embarrassing if all of that was too much for you.
If you’re ever going to do something like that again (host a server), please have a few people you trust enough that you’d be willing to for example hand over the server to. I know you might still feel embarassed (even though you shouldn’t) and scared about doing that but that’s a decision that’s safer to take than to delete the server in a panic when you’re unsure what to do. Plus this was a group effort server where we were collecting evidence, and some people don’t have access to those documents and files anymore, which is a shame. But once again, at least I (wont speak for others but i’m sure they feel the same way) won’t blame you for admitting when you couldn’t do smth at that moment. I actually think that was brave for you to admit that to yourself, most people would keep going and going until they would break.
the reason why i’m also asking to hand the ownership to someone else in this situation is because i really care about memories and i’ve been in multiple situations where people have deleted years worth of messages in discord servers when they got rid of those, not even for any good reasons, but just because those servers were “dead” and they were bored, which is so so stupid to me, especially when i always make sure to let them know that if they feel like that i’ll be one of the volunteers to take the server into my own hands. But, that’s me rambling about unrelated things, it can go into its own separate post.
Please remember we are still here for you, and you at least know that i’m still here! And if you need support or reassurance, i’m not going anywhere! I hope you see this and i do hope it makes you feel better, i hope i didn’t say anything stupid that would upset you. I also hope that in case you wanted me to answer privately you’d let me know, because i will be posting this like a regular ask.. but take care please!

hello, sorry for letting this sit in the inbox for 2 days, start of the week turned out to be much more draining than i expected it to be. So, maybe surprisingly for some, I myself am not very educated on these things (but this post aint about me). But I did try my best to find useful resources that could help your friend or anyone in that matter. remember, even if you had parents and maybe they even taught you some things it doesnt mean you know everything you probably should.

These are two youtube channels who answer questions you'd usually ask a parent, i.e hey mom, how do i braid hair? (btw, turns out she literally has a video on that!!

this is a professional hair stylist and he has a lot of videos about how to take care of your hair and your brush and other things, which seems super great! he seems to be quite aware of how much people might shove expensive products into your face that dont do much, but also he does recommend sticking to professionally used products that you'd know work well, so thats also good! he's pretty good at explaining complicating things in easy words, which definitely helps someone like me for sure.he also understands that everyone is different and it affects how and when you can and should do things, without feeling judged.
now, i probably havent done a lot, i hope the other people you reached out to could share a lot of tips how to do things and where to learn them. I wish you and your friend, and anyone else who might have needed this post to help look after themselves or anything like that the absolute best. you're all wonderful, you're all fantastic, even if you don't know how to do something. I hope you learn to ignore any judgement you might face from certain people and instead focus on receiving help frrom people who care about you getting better. all the love from this strawberry :)

Thank you for sharing after noticing my replies on a post, but the Kizuna AI pack was a limited time IAP that never returned. the only way to kinda have smth with it is if you buy a star pin from tgc's store, but even then thats not reallly it :( Whatever this person is doing, im confused. At first, I thought maybe they're selling their account, but it seems like they're genuine about selling everything separately and that would just not work...... i genuinely kinda wanna message the person just to see what they would say but at the same time eeeuhgh?? tl dr: not saying its fake, but feels odd like smth is not right with this for sure. at least maybe because some things are definitely not around anymore (not blaming you though, you were very kind to share what you found! <3 feel free to dm me if they explained things better to you)
