whilst school was afloat and the plague wasn’t looming, there was this boy in my french class who was very ecstatic. He was reading les mis and i really, really wanted to talk to him about it because i’d never read it but i’d seen posts n such on it, so i had one question and it was “how?” as in how are you managing your sanity and reading the lengthy classic. however i am riddled with fear and anxiety, thus i will never know how he managed.

native english speakers lose their shite over the french word for bird(s), oiseau(x), despite the fact that the word follows french grammatical rules without exception, but fail to notice the word COLONEL is apparently pronounced as KERNEL because that makes WAY MORE SENSE
