Eddie probably does vocal warm ups whenever he dolls himself up in drag, and ends up kind of sounds like a lower pitched Dolly Parton :D

Take Me Home, Country Roads

I haven’t really drawn anything in a long while (both digitally and traditionally), and ngl I’ve been really wanting to watch some Studio Ghibli movies lately

…So guess who combined their recent interests together?✋

Bonus points to anyone who can guess which Ghibli movie I took inspiration from for this

Introducing a new au Ive had in my back pocket for a little bit

Welcome Home: Get It Together!

This is essentially an (*sort of?) au where the neighbors of Welcome Home get shrunken down to chibi-sized and have to complete microgames

There’s no overall plot with this au, I just wanted to cross over Welcome Home and WarioWare: Get It Together

I have each of the characters game mechanics planned out already, but I’ll introduce them all as I draw all their practice sheets out :3

Eddie Dear

This hardworking mailman can’t seem to catch a break. Eddie Dear can be quite forgetful, but he wears his heart on his sleeve. Frank Frankly is always there for him when the going gets especially tough.

- Eddie in his new mail truck can travel left and right. Hold A to perform a high jump with Eddie’s mail truck.

Julie Joyful

Julie Joyful is always up for a game to play. Whatever junk can be found, she knows how to make it into something fun everyone can enjoy! Her bubbly attitude is quite a contrast to her best friend Frank Frankly.

- Julie’s skates won’t stop going until her yo-yo does! Her skates keep going left to right, but her yo-yo can go in any direction.

*I say it’s a sort of au since very little/nothing changes between the designs or personalities of the regular Welcome Home neighbors and the ones for Welcome Home: Get It Together, but it’s still different from the regular WH cast

Wally is not allowed to leave Barnaby until he says so (which I don’t think he minds either way lol)

Last thing of welcome home fanart for now! I wanna head back into my usual original art and characters, but I just had to make this animation before I do! 😭 ❤️

Plus I added a couple of older doodles I made of Barn being a dog lol

So to kinda follow up with how age regressed Wally acts around rain/storms, how is Eddie with them when he's regressed?

I would say whenever Eddie’s feeling little, he’s much more scared of storms or other loud sounds

Though, if Eddie has someone there to comfort him (especially a caregiver), any loud sound just fades into the background, becoming nothing more than just white noise to help him relax :)

My apologies to y’all for the ramblings in the descriptions lol, if you guys just wanna know why I chose each planet, here you go

Sally Starlet - the sun: is it not obvious? /lh (I decided to not make Sally as bright as the sun, as to show some humbleness in her ego in comparison to her regular counterpart)

Eddie Dear - Mercury: Curiosity and a thirst for knowledge, as Eddie is also very intrigued by what his past life was like (lore drop on god⁉️). Also with the themes of communication and expression, it really reminded me of Eddie’s role as a mailman (or in this au, S P A C E C O W B O Y)

Wally Starling - Venus: As Wally is the newest member to our set of Wish Makers, I wanted to keep him as his creative and perpetually-in-love-with-everyone kind of self, and Venus had a lot more in common with him than I thought

We skip over Earth since no one fit Earth’s description

Poppy Partridge - the moon: Another obvious choice (also like Wally, the description for Earth’s Moon had more in common with Poppy than I thought!)

Barnaby B. Beagle - Mars: This one was honestly the hardest to try and figure out. I kind of had to think of it from Barnaby’s inspirations for this au, specifically with his game show kind of shtick

Also skip over Jupiter since no one fit its description either T-T

Frank Frankly - Saturn: I was simply reading Saturn’s description, and my mind just went “oh yeah, that’s just actually Frank”

Julie Joyful - Uranus: This one was also kind of difficult to place, so I also had to think of it from Julie’s perspective—she’s not afraid to break the rules, nor is she afraid to come up with her own rules

Howdy Pillar - Neptune: For this one I had to actually go to another website to get ideas from. With this variant of Howdy, I wanted to find something that fit both his capitalistic attributes as well as his soft dream-like aesthetic (he’s not as much of a capitalist in this au, but he still enjoys making some dough💸)
