Night Stride - Addendum

it’s been awfully quiet - i.e. I’ve been... one of the things I did while not logging on even:
formidable randomness - no. a bunch (genuinely lost count...) trying to get my jazz on - so far no complaints from downstairs

Never mind bleak professional outlooks, it’s always missed/botched personal connections/relations that get you down. Thus, I’m ditching continuity for this latest re-emergence here to post sth upbeat out of chronological context that reminds me of good times.

Hey again everybody. I sure as anything don’t seem to have a disposition towards posting anymore. But, it’s not that I wouldn’t or dislike it, I just don’t do it. Pics are piling up, I mourn the almost certain death of the adox and, unfortunately, haven’t the money for a new medium format camera and I’m more unsure of my editing skills than ever. This year was a distinct lull, photography wise. I seem to have focused my spare time on prints or, even less helpful to this endeavour, music. Well, maybe this spur of the moment (taken yesterday, edited and uploaded today) shot will kick me back into some sort of gear.

So let’s work backwards from here.Connecting to what I was saying earlier, I was in Cologne (obviously) on a trip tying in to those musical endeavours I occasionally yap about. I was hoping to see the cathedral hiding into more of a mist. In order to avoid the unnerving buzz of the christmas markets I turned towards the Rhine and was directly happy to not have been met by the aforementioned mist. Some yin and yang bullshit right there in that story. I’m still not happy about certain artefacts of digital photography that are visible in this shot but I tried to hide them as much as my editing skills will allow, thus making for a look more analogous to my analogue shots... I hope
