Pain In His Eyes
Series: Danganronpa.
Characters: Fuyuhiko, Nagito, Kazuichi, and Leon.

Note: This is my first time writing about this sort of thing. I hope it hasn't come across as insensitive or something like that.
Fuyuhiko
Fuyuhiko had sat beside you on your bed as he traced the scars on your arm with the tip of his finger. Neither of you had spoken a word to each other. It was a comfortable silence almost as if nothing needed to be said.
You had been with Fuyuhiko for some time now and you knew he was with people particularly you especially you. Fuyuhiko cared for you above all else you mean so much to him and he wants nothing more than to see you happy and safe. So to know you were dealing with pain and this how you were dealing with it.
It saddened and hurt him but that sadness and pain was nothing compared to what you must have been going through. He wasn't the best with his words so he decided to say nothing for now. Instead, he cuddled up to let you know he was there for you.
(Look at you cuddling with one of the most feared men in Japan. What would his subordinates think if they saw him like this?) You cuddled him resting your head on his neck letting out tears you didn't know you were holding back. He soothed you wrapping his arms around you to bring you closer.
You wondered if you should say anything but you decided against it. You were just glad to have Fuyuhiko here with you glad that someone finally knew. You just stayed in his arms as you continued to cry knowing that with him you would be safe.
Nagito
From his appearance, people might see Nagito as very aloof. However, that couldn't be further from the truth as he was a very observant person. For example his S/O there are things he would pick up on about you that others wouldn't.
So even if you were lying to him he wouldn't push it and would wait until you were comfortable to talk with him. Nagito cares about you and is very considerate of your feelings. He would know what and what not to do and you would let him if he overstepped any boundaries.
One of your favorite things is simply being with Nagito knowing that he's right there with you. Whether that be in the comfort of your own home or at the park with him. You always enjoyed going to the park with him having a picnic together or watching the clouds.
Being with you feel at ease and that you can forget the troubles of everyday life. If Nagito is good at topics for conversation but if you didn't pursue them he wouldn't bring them up again after all he isn't a person who pries. Nagito loves hearing your voice even if you're rambling he doesn't care he just loves to hear the sound of your voice.
Hopes and dreams Nagito has heard it all from you and he's happy that you've shared them with him. But as for now, you were lying on the grass looking at the clouds as you spoke to Nagito. Your smile he loved was something so precious to him and he'd do whatever he could to protect you and your smile.
Kazuichi
Kazuichi felt as if something had been different about you as of late. It was summer and you had been wearing bagger clothing for such warm weather. Of course, Kazuichi had known you for a while after all you were his S/O so he knew how you liked to dress yourself.
It's not only your clothing that has changed but your behavior around him and other people. You had become more closed off and quiet. Kazuichi was worried about you and he had asked you if everything was okay but you brushed him off.
He could only watch as you changed and not for the better. Kazuichi just knew something was wrong and that you were in pain. It was hurting him to see you suddenly change like this and not knowing the reason why.
That was until one day Kazuichi walked into your room without knocking and caught you self-harming. For a moment none of you spoke a word to each other as you just stared. "Y-Y/N" Kazuichi spoke in pure shock as if he couldn't believe what he was saying.
The look in his it's something you wished to have never seen from him. After a while, he approached you on the bed hugging you. "Don't worry I'm here for you my princess/prince."
Leon
Leon was worried about you he noticed a change in your behavior as of late. You had become more closed off recently and stopped showing up to classes. He had noticed that your clothing had also changed with you wearing longer shirt sleeves.
He was worried and he wasn't sure what to do or how to approach you about his concerns. So Leon decided to ask some of your friends about you and how you have been recently. He had asked them for help as he and your friends were all very worried.
So for the next while, both Leon and your friends had begun to pay closer attention to you. While not asking what was bothering you directly. You were now in your bedroom and you were sure you were alone now to start doing that again.
However, before you, Leon grabbed the knife out of your hand. "Y/N what are you doing?" Leon asked you in shock as if he couldn't believe what he was seeing. "Why would you do that Y/N?"
Leon put the knife aside and sat on the bed next to you. "B-because I..." You could barely get the words out as tears fell from your eyes. Leon pulled you into a tight hug as you rested your head on his neck.
"I love you Y/N please whatever is bothering talk to me. I love you and I'd never judge you. You shouldn't have to resort to this I'm here for you okay? Please remember that forever and always."

Nagito
If you did have a talent Nagito would feel as though you're lying to him. Or even if you didn't have a talent he'd also think you would be lying to him! But why would that be?
Well, that would be because he thought you were the Ultimate Cuteness or Ultimate Plushie Collector! After all his wonderful boyfriend only deserves the most wonderful talent!
I feel like even Nagito would be impressed by the amount of plushies you have. I mean there were plushies on your floor, bed, there were just plushies everywhere!
Of course, even if you two are sitting or cuddling together there's always at least one plushie nearby! Well, maybe just more than one never hurts to have more nearby!
Also, do you know how Nagito is like really rich? Because he got it all from a lottery ticket I believe. He would buy you any plushies you would like. Also whenever he's out shopping he'd buy a plushie he thinks you would like or one that reminds him of you.
Fuyuhiko
Very serious a very serious man so if he's so serious why's he holding a plushie? Well, that's because you gave it to him! After all, it is not like like could turn a gift from his adorable (he'd never say it but he thinks you're adorable!) Boyfriend!
Although I feel like like at first he would be annoyed with all the plushies. Just takes him a while to understand is all. But if they make you happy he doesn't mind you having so many.
You'd also give me plushies as a gift after he's warned up to having them around. You have him a bear with a suit because you thought it looked like him. "What this is stupid! It looks nothing like me!" (He doesn't mean it he's happy to get a gift from you especially one that reminds you of him even if it was...cute.)
I'd also like to think he'd also have a plushie you got him (the bear for example) just sitting on his desk. No one knows why the plushie is there and they don't dare question him about it. But he's happy to have you there as every time he looks at it he thinks of you.
Kazuichi
He'd love the fact you'd have so many plushies! Like seriously I can see it and I won't expect otherwise he loves you and your plushies.
However, I feel like he would be a little jealous of your plushies. I mean they get so much of your attention! What about him? He's your boyfriend? (Make sure to give him lots of attention cuz this boy is just seriously in love with you.)
I feel like he might be a little annoyed at some plushies you have for example build a bear. I mean why would you want, need, and spend your money on those?!? He can make you one for free!
Okay now I'm kinda making it sound like he hates the plushies you have but he doesn't! He loves the way you have them set out in your room. He also loves how happy and excited you get when you see a plushie you don't have.
He also loves it whenever you're taking a nap and there's just a bunch of plushies around you. He gets into bed with you making sure no plushies fall off. "I love you, my prince." He says as he kisses your forehead and drifts off to sleep with you.
Hajime
I feel like Hajime wouldn't care but not in a bad way! it's just not something he needs to point out or bring up.
Your plushies are something that are very special to you. So he does make sure to take care of them as best he can.
He is surprised by the size of your plushies though. Some plushies can fit in his hand and plushies that are as tall as him! I mean seriously where do you even get these plushies?
One thing Hajime likes is how your plushies match the themes and colors of your bedroom. They all go nicely together and he likes how you have them placed out on your bed and desk. Overall cute plushies but Hajime has an even cuter boyfriend.

Here's the next installment of fanfic inspired arts. It does get spicy and has some violent descriptions so read at your own discretion. But then again, anything involving the Remnants isn't exactly fluffy.
I love seeing other people's interpretation of the Remnants and I wanna explore them too, but that'll be for later. Sorry, I got nothing extra to add. I do, just don't know how to word it atm :/ :D

Hajime Hinata ; To be honest, I don’t think he’s put much thought into it. Yeah, girls are pretty, he can definitely say that, but he hasn’t thought about guys in another sense. Probably identifies as straight, but is definitely open to new experiences. Who knows ? He might actually be bi, pan, omni, etc. !! ✨
Nagito Komaeda ; I feel like Nagito might have a complex relationship with relationships, he’s probably somewhere on the arospec and is also far too busy to think about other romantic stuff ( 🌶 ), but I don’t think he’s on the ace spectrum. Probably aroqueer ?? 👀
Teruteru Hanamura ; This dude is panromantic / pansexual, he doesn’t really mind the gender or sex of his partner and can appreciate the appeal of almost everyone, pretty unapologetic about it too, obviously. It took him awhile to figure it out, but hey, here he is. 💅🏻
Nekomaru Nidai ; Straight but a huge ally, protector of the lesbians. He seems like the kind of guy that you’d want to come out to first, he’d be encouraging and supportive, definitely a safe space for any of the queers. 💕
Kazuichi Soda ; That man is a raging bisexual ( with a femme lean ) that hasn’t put the pieces together yet. He knows he’s attracted to women, it probably takes up a good chunk of his mind besides mechanical work and hyping his friends up, but like yeah, he’s definitely seen men that make him go ‘Awooga’, but he thinks it’s because “I wanna be them, right ?? Right ??” ✨
Gundham Tanaka ; AROACE GUNDHAM HAS MY HEART, THERE IS NO TRUE REASONING BEHIND IT, IT’S JUST THAT HE RADIATES THE ENERGY. I LOVE HIM SO MUCH, OKAY ?? PLEASE DON’T TAKE THIS AWAY FROM ME. /LH !! ✨
Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu ; Straight, hopelessly in love with Peko, probably hasn’t thought of any other girls, she has his heart, but listen, I also see him, as rat bastard - y as he might seem, he definitely would be a super devoted boyfriend / husband, a true ride or die. 💕
Imposter / Twogami ; Nobody truly knows what they are, I feel like it fluctuates, given whoever they’re impersonating - but if we want to be specific, that would make them panromantic / pansexual in my book. 👀
Chiaki Nanami ; She was probably straight irl, but when her AI was formed through Chihiro, not much thought was put into the romance aspect. She’s a computer system, and while she is so capable of giving love and affection, she’s probably AroAce. She knows her purpose, and it’s not romance or relationships. 🥂
Akane Owari ; Straight, but probably scares weaker men off. Literally doesn’t know why, but she is definitely intense. It would take a strong dude to put up with her. ✨
Ibuki Mioda ; Probably also panromantic / pansexual, she doesn’t think gender or sex really matters in a relationship. If anything, she just wants someone that’s willing to have as much fun as she wants to, but she probably doesn’t put a lot of importance in romantic relationships, and might not even find monogamy appealing. 💅🏻
Mahiru Koizumi ; She definitely thinks she’s straight, but listen, what she’s looking for in a relationship could easily be found in a strong, independent girl. If anything, guys play with her feelings too much, she just has to have that biromantic / bisexual epiphany, and needs to let go of that mindset of “Boys do this, and girls do that”. 🥂
Peko Pekoyama ; Definitely Demiromantic / Demisexual. I see her putting her work first, not realizing how fulfilled she’d be emotionally if she ever let her guard down and just realized that she could have those kinds of relations, especially since Fuyuhiko is kind of just lurking around her. 💕
Mikan Tsumiki ; Probably Demiromantic / Homosexual !! It takes awhile for Mikan to open up to people and she wants to know that she can trust her girlfriend before entering a relationship with her, she’s normally okay with casual hookups, and leaves quickly after, but she is a super loving and attentive girlfriend when in a serious relationship !! 💕
Hiyoko Saionji ; Homophobic Homoromantic / Homosexual. I see her as the girl that really projects her internalized homophobia onto others, and grew up hearing homophobic stuff, so it’s kind of instilled in her mind that “gay = bad”, but seriously, she does like girls, she just feels like she’s not supposed to and really hates it, since she is a girl herself. 👀
Sonia Nevermind ; She probably identifies as pan / bi, but won’t admit that she’s a raging lesbian for a super long time. She’s probably always known that she liked girls, but she has always seen princesses and princes getting married, so she feels like that’s what’s expected of her. Would definitely date guys, but probably doesn’t feel fulfilled unless she’s dating a woman. 💅🏻

✨ Kazuichi So(u)da ( He / Him ) ; While I’ve seen lots of people headcannon Kaz as trans, I’ve always perceived him as cis, so Cisgender Male ( no hate to the people of the Trans! Kazuichi army ), Panromantic, Pansexual. Was in deep denial about his attraction to men / masc presenting people for a very, very long time, and struggles as telling what types of feelings he’s feeling towards people. Gets it sorted out as he grows older, and gets therapy because my blorbo needs it. ✨
✨ Fuyuhiko Kuzuryuu ( He / Him ) ; Cisgender Male, Heteroromantic, Heterosexual ( Questioning ). Wishes he looked more masculine and experiences lots of facial dysmorphia because of it. Never really had an opportunity to explore himself romantically / sexually, but has had feelings for Peko for a very, very long time, so he’s one hundred percent sure he likes girls, and he’s at the point where he doesn’t know if exploring that part of himself is really even worth it, so he just leaves that part of himself alone for the most part. ✨
✨ Teruteru Hanamura ( He / Him ) ; Cisgender Male, Panromantic, Pansexual. ✨ The Ultimate Imposter ( They / Them ) ; Genderfluid, Panromantic, Pansexual. Having to pretend to be other people, Imposter has always had a fluid sense of self, and no, that’s never bothered them. They do all types of gender presentations and kind of like anyone, regardless of their presentation and gender. The sense of self is something ever changing with Imposter, and if their partner feels that way as well, they are the person that is the least bothered out of all of them. ✨
✨ Nekomaru Nidai ( He / Him ) ; Cisgender Male, Biromantic, Bisexual. Has always had a particularly far male lean, and if he’s had to look back at people he’s been attracted too, the list of men far outweighs the women. However, that’s not to say he’s never found himself attracted to women. He’d had a couple of girl crushes. Has always struck me as the type that gets crushes all the time, but values his future too much to really act upon any feelings he has. ✨
✨ Gundham Tanaka ( They / He ) ; Agender, Aromantic, Asexual. Gundham has always been the flamboyant type, so a lot of people’s suspect they’re gay, and when they’re around Sonia, people suspected that he liked her, but that has always been far from the truth. In Gundham’s words, they’d probably say they were “ above the mortal feeling of love “, but to put it straight, Gundham has never experienced either forms of attraction. He’s simply bold and expressive, and cherishes his friendships and relationships deeply, praising those he loves. ✨
✨ Nagito Komaeda ( He / They ) ; Non - Binary, AroAcespec - Queer. Nagito has always deprived themself of relationships, feeling as if they are unworthy of them, and still heavily struggles with that in relationships, but he’s working on it. Nagito has also never had much of a strong attachment towards masculinity, so they identify as non - binary, but don’t mind being perceived as male either, it happens. ✨
✨ The Girls !! ✨
✨ Sonia Nevermind ( She / Her ) ; Cisgender Female, Lesbian. Sonia really tried to convince herself that she liked men, for a very long time, having the idea that her country depends on her providing an heir and marrying another prince. She felt like her true feelings were betraying her kingdom, so she kept that part of herself hidden for a very long time, acting uninterested in romance altogether for awhile, before she knew she couldn’t keep that a secret any longer if she wanted to be happy. ✨
✨ Akane Owari ( She / Her ) ; Cisgender Female, Biromantic, Bisexual. Akane is much like Hajime where being bi was a huge part of her identity, nobody around her ever made it a problem, so she never viewed it as one. Would beat a homophobe to a pulp. Attracted to anyone she can fight in hand to hand combat. The only time her sexuality was an “ issue “ is when creepy men would be fetishy about it, like people she worked around or a few of her mom’s boyfriends, but luckily they’d leave shortly after that. ✨
✨ Mahiru Koizumi ( She / Her ) ; Cisgender Female, Biromantic, Bisexual. Mahiru would have denied her attraction to women for a very long time, because she definitely seems like the type raised in a traditional house where the values were “ men are with women “, so she simply thought it wasn’t a thing, thought she was strange for having thoughts about women romantically, and eventually, as she grew more familiar with the world, was so happy to find out she wasn’t the only one who felt this way. ✨
✨ Peko Pekoyama ( She / Her ) ; I personally headcannon Peko as Cisgender but have seen Trans! Peko headcannons and I think that’s also pretty valid !! Demi - Panromantic, Demi - Pansexual. I don’t think Peko could ever really love Fuyuhiko the way he wants to be, I think she would have too much trouble trying to distance herself from the fact she was assigned to be his tool, and nothing more. I think that a relationship, a good and healthy relationship, with anyone outside of the Kuzuryuu clan would be something that would work the best for her. ✨
✨ Ibuki Mioda ( They / She ) ; Non - Binary, Panromantic, Greysexual, Non - Monogamous. Ibuki has also never felt strong attachment to their assigned gender, and is very vocal about how they identify, though they never stop to correct anyone who has called them by their assigned gender. People that care will use the pronouns they like. Ibuki also has had trouble with relationships, finding it hard to find relationships that don’t want them to be sexually intimate, when they don’t feel that way. They bounce between partners quite a bit, sometimes having a main partner, while having other partners as well, less of a polyamorous person, more of a swinger. ✨
✨ Hiyoko Saionji ( She / Her ) ; Cisgender Female, Lesbian. Yet another very repressed lesbian, grew up with very homophobic family, and identified as straight for a large portion of her life, never comes out to her family, and only starts seeking any sort of romantic relationships when her grandparents have long since passed away. Has a hard time coming to terms with this as well, even with the love and support of her friends, feels like there is something “wrong” with her, but probably ends up finding a relationship that makes her beyond happy. ✨
✨ Mikan Tsumiki ( She / Her ) ; Identifies as Cisgender, but doesn’t really have a problem with any pronouns, probably owns a pronoun badge / pin, just because she likes her patients to feel safe and open around her. Biromantic, Acespec Bisexual. Mikan has landed herself in plenty of unhealthy relationships, because being bullied her entire life causes her to run into the arms of the first person that shows her kindness. She has also developed toxic tendencies of her own as well, leading to her being the toxic one in relationships as well. Needs therapy and is learning to cope with her codependency. ✨
✨ Chiaki Nanami ( She / They / He ) ; I feel like Human! / Despair Arc! Chiaki was definitely a cisgender, straight girl, probably never really questioned her gender or sexuality, and really never gave much thought to romantic relationships yet, because she was more focused on video games and school, but Neo World! Chiaki is probably an avid user of all pronouns and AroAce, because they’re programmed to help people, and he is an AI, therefore the concept of gender and sexuality are things Chiaki isn’t very hung up on. ✨
