01. All my blogs depict the very fictional lives of oc K-Pop Idols, so although industry settings such as music or TV shows as well as real life idols might be named dropped once in a while, they’re not the focus of my work, barely even backgrounds characters, therefore I don’t categorize my writing as fanfiction. Think of it as original characters in a fictionalized real setting;
02. My writing content bounces in between 14+ to 16+. I don’t shy away from taboo topics such as substance abuse, mental health or predatory behavior, all to which I do my very best to depict with responsibility. I’ll also heavily stress that while there might be the impliaction of sex in my work, I do not write explicid sexual content for a million different reasons. Do not ask for it, all you’ll get is a hard block;
03. That being said, everything on my blogs will be rightfully tagged on a trigger warning section, often after the world accounts, styled as ‘tws!’. I’m fully aware that that isn’t enough to stop anyone on the internet from consuming content, but I’m doing my part and won’t take any responsibility for what the disregard for the tags might do. Mind the warnings and your own personal boundaries. You can always ask me for a safer rundown on DMs, I’m more than willing to provide it;
04. As a POC and queer person, I do often write about POC and queer struggles and experiences inspired by my own and my peers, which will surely appear in this lil’ universe. Both topics are extremely broad and full of nuances, of course, and I don’t claim to speak for a crowd at all. It’s just a heads up that I believe is worth saying when the mere existence of my characters can be seen as political;
05. I don’t feel the need to justify why I write the topics I write to anyone, really. I can assure that my intent is never to banalize or glamorize any of the heavy subjects I deal with. I may write fiction, yes, but I’m fully aware of reality and will never ignore it. Ever.
