Glatorian/Agori will punch you for throwing an orange
I was thinking about the after-reformation Bara Magna, and somehow the thought of food crossed my mind. Hear me out! Bara Magna was basically a desert for however-thousand-many years, and even if they had food, there probably wasn't much of it, or wasn't very varied. The Glatorian and Agori probably were ecstatic when Mata Nui repaired their world and many new fruits appeared! Cue the inhabitants of the Matoran Universe! They had all the food they could want! They didn't have to worry about that, like... ever. So their relationships with food must be very different. While residents of MU wouldn't think much about it, Glatorian and Agori could be very harsh about waste of food. And now that I came to that conclusion, I can't get the scene out of my head of some Toa throwing some fruit at their sibling, a Glatorian seeing this, and it's turning into an hours long lecture because STOP WASTING FOOD YOU FOOL!!!!! , and the Toa is just like: Huh?????, not fully comprehending why they are being yelled at...
So basically this:

I had to dig through Tumblr for half an hour to find this, but here it is!
This post is amazing, phenomenal, OUTSTANDING! (Like most of the posts from Bionicle community :D)
But this made me think: how would Av-Matoran hidden in different tribes try to relate to the Matoran of each element?
So I propose this is how Av-Matoran would relate to different elements:
Ta-Matoran: Already explained in the post Ga-Matoran: They like how light reflects in water Ko-Matoran: They like how shiny ice is in the light Vo-Matoran: They like how bright the lightning is Su-Matoran: They like how plasma emits light Fe-Matoran: They like how light reflects on iron
Onu-Matoran and Bo-Matoran were a bit harder for me to connect with light, but I did come up with something! Av-Matoran hidden in an earth tribe could be obsessed with light stones, and one hidden in a plantlife tribe... Could like how plants absorbs the light??? A bit of a stretch on the last one to be honest lol
As for the rest of the elements (air, stone, magnetism, gravity, sonics, psionics, sand)... I have no idea. Probably shouldn’t hide your Av-Matoran in those tribes
Thinking about Takua trying to relate to the Ta-Matoran
We know Takua always felt ostracized and out of place among the Ta-Matoran, and he was probably a little self-conscious about not feeling like a “proper” Ta-Matoran. I wonder if he ever tried to relate to them over their element, Fire.
I don’t think Takua would’ve liked Fire for its heat, he could never seem to tolerate high temperatures like the other Ta-Matoran (another thing he was self-conscious of). But he would love Fire for how bright is was. For the Light it gave off. He could stare into the Light of the Fire for longer than any of the other Ta-Matoran. And when they would talk about their love of their element, he could join in too, for they would agree with how wonderfully bright their element was.
Do you think that before he knew he was Light, before he knew Light was even an option, that he comforted himself with the thought that at least he liked Fire for how bright it was. That it was a little bit of validation, that maybe he could be a “proper” Ta-Matoran and that he wasn’t totally out of place in the element he’d been assigned to for as long as he can remember.
Man, the trans allegory really is right there isn’t it. Happy pride month y’all
Glatorians and Agori probably know that not all fruits explode, because they most likely had normal fruit before The Shattering. But Toa and Matoran might not even think that exploding fruits could exist! So yeah, they would be angry about them just chucking random fruit not knowing what it is too

I should not be given creative freedom
Hello. I came to send into the void more of my ideas
I saw someone posting about pink Bionicle element (don't feel like finding that post), and the other night I was struck by a brilliant idea! If there is no pink tribe, I SHALL MAKE ONE!!! >:D
But don't expect any wise ideas from me. I thrive on chaos! xD
So I began brainstorming what a pink element could possibly be. I thought about crystals, but it was too obvious. I was about to give up and just go to sleep, but on the brink of falling into unconsciousness, my brain served me this thought: Salt is pink sometimes... AND SO IT WAS DECIDED!!!! >:D
(And salt is a crystal, so...)
So now that I've settled on an element, it's time to create the lore!
Matoran Prefix: Ne-
Associated Colours: shades of pink
I couldn't decide whether my tribe should be all male or all female, and I was leaning more toward female, but in the end I compromised, and decided they should all be nonbinary, but they don't care what pronouns you use with them, and some might prefer one pronoun over the other
Matoran and Toa of Salt are very rare. There's actually only one village in the Matoran universe, and It's because their creation was an accident. When Great Beings were creating the MU, one of them accidentally found a way to control salt when he was working on the tribe of stone. They were intrigued, and so he created a few Ne-Matoran, and two Toa of salt: Salina and Nelios. But not much more came of it. In the end, the element of salt was deemed useless by other great beings, and they were forbidden from creating any more of Matoran or Toa of salt. They never got a chance to create any Turaga either. So the whole tribe was put on a small island, unmarked on any map, and very hard to stumble upon. They had no role in the destiny of their world, and weren't even aware that there was anything beyond their island. Well, up until the robot they were living in was WRECKED by a moon. Yes, they were inside the robot when it was destroyed, and the two Toa bearly managed to save everyone, but their island was destroyed, and they kinda had to finally get off their piece of rock and salt floating in the ocean :V
That's when they emerge from the great robot, much to the confusion of everyone from the Matoran Universe and Spherus Magna! :D
The salt element is kinda an offshoot of the element of stone... Idk, they seemed similar enough to make it that way.
All users of this element were passively stronger than other beings, but a bit weaker than stone and earth element users, and passively more resistant to cold, but less resistant than ice element users.
My explanation for why I chose those traits is simple: since I made it an offshoot of the stone element, it made sense to make them strong, but just not as much. And I wouldn't have added the ''resistant to cold'' part, if not for the video I watched when researching salt. And, apparently, adding salt to water lowers the temperature at which the water can freeze. So yeah, can't freeze a salt Toa that easily hehe
I wanted to add something about healing or something along those lines, looking at the meat preservative properties of salt... But honestly, my mind is blank at the moment. If I get any ideas, I'll add them, but that's all their abilities right now.
Oh, and they can't be assigned any personality stereotype, because some users of this element will be very chill and nice, and some will just be feral gremlins
And I've decided that this tribe only eats with their mouths (and not with their hands), and has teeth, because the image of a Matoran or Toa of salt casually crunching on a salt crystal and other Matoran or Toa, or even Glatorian and Agori, just looking at them like: "???? *visible confusion*
So yeah, I believe I have written everything that my half-asleep mind conjured!
If you have any questions, ask right away!
Oh, and I'll definitely draw Salina and Nelios when I have free time :)

Lewa was EXACTLY the VERY FIRST one I thought about when writing this!

So basically this:

I’ve been watching Bionicle movies, and noticed that Glatorian and Agori have eyelids and blink normally, but Toa and Matoran have no eyelids and blink with those lights in their eyes. Now... Do you think that Toa/Matoran freaked out when they noticed Glatorian/Agori blink that way? Or maybe the other way around? To be hones, I imagine both sides being like:

Eyo, listen! So... I often create fake scenarios in my head. And the one I like the most is ''a human gets teleported to a different world (often from some series), what do they do?'' And like, there are millions of variations of this scenario. And I do this with Bionicle too. I have a version where a human just wakes up in Bionicle world totally unchanged, a version where they are reincarnated as a Glatorian or a Toa, or even Matoran or Agori... In some versions they understand language spoken, but the versions where they don't get really interesting lol But in all those scenarios the human keeps all the knowledge about Bionicle that they remembered from our world.
(Wow, the amount of fanfiction I could have written basing them on this concept alone is astronomical)
And recently, I found a new scenario to run. What if you were reincarnated into Bionicle world... As a Rahi! While a humanoid has pretty clear options: stay hidden, don't interfere, just live your life until someone reads your mind and finds out all the knowledge you possess about our world and Bionicle history, or actively try to change things with either keeping the knowledge to yourself (until someone reads your mind, this is pretty inevitable at some point) or telling everyone the truth. Unless you just wake up as a normal human there. Then you have a lot of explaining to do either way.
But as a Rahi? What would you do? Only a certain few could understand you, and even then, would they believe an animal? What could you even change? There are very intelligent Rahi like Keetongu, but I would imagine a human would be reincarnated as some wolf or cat Rahi in this scenario, and not a legendary being.
Normally I don't talk about the scenarios I create in my head, but I'm really curious, what would you do if you suddenly woke up in Bionicle world, with all the knowledge you possess about it, but as a Rahi?
(By the way: I wrote it at 1AM, so if what I wrote sounds weird [or like I'm a lunatic lol] that's why. In the morning I would have only check the grammar mistakes and sent it as it is Xd)
