good omens au where crowley got drunk and told his entire life story to sir terry pratchett/neil gaiman, who proceeded to think it was a weird dream and turn it into a book

and then it gets really popular and aziraphale tries to work out how these humans found everything out (while crowley awkwardly remembers confessing his 6000 years of feelings to these authors)

and as part of his research aziraphale starts reading fanfiction and accidentally discovers either intense romance or INTENSE smut and has a very awkward, strange realisation about HIS feelings towards crowley

and shenanigans ensue (aziraphale probably comments on ppls fics very kindly pointing out inaccuracies and mischaracterisation and accidentally becomes fandom infamous as being a dick in comment sections about people's characterisation even though he means well)
