I remember drawing this little guy way back when Undertale was popular. And with the recent release of Deltarune (Chapter 2), it brings back memories of these simple doodles....

Is Goopster a Dad Goopster too?

Hmmm, I don't picture him as a "dad" but probably a "dad-type", ya know? Or at least before he turned into a goopy-goober.
Definitely a more docile/friendly personality though but I didn't really develop much of a personality for this goopy version when I first began doodling him.
I just picture him being soft...though in this case, it's in more ways than one.

And boy howdy do I remember that back in the day, haha!

Anywho. There's been a lot of versions of Gaster I've seen but since there wasn't/hasn't been much about him in game, his personality and past ends up being up to whoever. And as someone who loves to write, I thoroughly enjoy! Both seeing what others come up with and thinking up stuff myself.

I'm glad you like him! I don't have many drawings of him (...yet?) but he was one of my favorite fanart characters - simple yet cute.
I would doodle more of him right now but it's half past midnight and I'm going to be visiting my youngest brother to play Deltarune with him.
(cause I'm such a responsible adult and totally know I should go to bed at a decent time)

Goopster needs all the love he can get, no one really knows he's around-
(always around, always watching)
-so Paps isn't necessarily aware he's there. Though, if he was, he'd certainly try to befriend him without a doubt. As for Frisk...well, there's a reason why he's not in that hidden room anymore.
