GORTASH WEEK FAQ
What is it?
A week-long event celebrating Baldur’s Gate’s shortest reigning and only Archduke.
When is it?
22nd July - 28th July 2024
Where can I find the prompts?

What do I need to do to participate?
Simple - create! Use either both or one of the prompts to create something involving Gortash as the main focus of the piece. Then, when the time comes, simply upload your piece/s on the corresponding day using the tag “#gortashweek” so I can reblog it here for the world to see! Closer to the time I will make a collection on AO3 so fanfics can all be neatly organised and in one place.
What can I create?
All artforms are welcome here, from digital art to 3D art to fanfics to creating a shrine in the middle of the forest! (Please do not disturb the wildlife, no matter how much you think it would appease the Archduke.)
If you create it, it’s welcome!
No AI “creations” will be tolerated. If you are caught using AI for anything, you will be rounded up by the Steel Watch and brought in for eternal imprisonment.
Any limitations?
None at all! The prompts are designed to be vague enough to allow complete freedom all while sticking closely to things related to Gortash. Take these prompts and run with them!
Both SFW and NSFW creations are allowed.
Posts, when reblogged here, will be tagged correctly so that if there’s any content you don’t want to see you can filter it out.
Want to only use Gortash in your wicked schemes? Go for it! Wish to bring in others to ruin his life? The more the merrier! As long as Gortash is the main focal point of the piece, feel free to wreck his day with whoever you see fit.

Ahem. Start planning or working on things you wish to create! There’s just under a month between the prompt list going out and the week of the event, so don’t feel pressured to wait to create things on the day. This is a low stakes event, you don’t have to commit to making something for every day. If you wish to only use one prompt on one day, that’s completely fine! If you want to do all seven days and all thirteen prompts, please make sure you stretch and hydrate yourself while working!
Once it gets closer to the week I’ll put out reminders so that you can, well, be reminded of the event.
