IS THAT THE PUYALIP ONE BC I WAS THERE
I GOT TO MEET THEM DUDE IT WAS AMAZING THEYRE SUCH NICE PEOPLE. AMANDA TAPPING’S SIGNING HAD NO LINE BC I GOT THERE SUPER LATE AND SHE LEGIT TOOK THE TIME TO GET TO KNOW ME AND WHERE IM GOIJG TO SCHOOL AND MY LIFE AND SHE SAID SHE DIDNT SEE ALOT OF YOUNG PEOPLE THIS PASSIONATE ABOUT STARGATE AND OH MY GOD MY HEART MELTED DUDE ID LITERALLY DO ANYTHING FOR HER SHES SO SWEET. THEN SHE PASSED ME ON HER WAY TO THE PHOTO OPS AND SHE L I T U P WHEN SHE SAW ME AND WAVED AND I SWEAR I COULDVE EXPLODED. (I also was dressed as Sam too hehe) I didnt get to chat much with RDA, but while everyone was in line, the staff shouted “WHOS READY FOR A PHOTO OP!!!” And everyone went NUTS and started whooping and cheering. And RDA channeled his inner Jack o’Neill and shouted over the curtain (paraphrased bc I can’t remember exactly what he said) “KEEP IT DOWN OVER THERE” it was gold, amazing, loved it. They’re such beautiful people. And after I was walking away from the photo op, Tapping said to RDA “17, she’s gonna rock the world” I heard her speak but I didn’t process what she said bc I was walking out. Man dude I was so happy. BUT NONE OF MH FRIENDS EVEN KNOW WHO RDA, A L E G E N D, IS AND I WANNA STRANGLE THEM

When the Bite The Bullet videos got published, I decided not to gif them because it was so hard to decide which sentences to pick without diluting the message.
I’ve now decided to make this gif set with tidbits related to self-worth.

One thing that stuck with me in the interview at the YVR Screen Scene was Amanda commenting on people’s reactions to the Bite The Bullet videos where she said, “Somebody actually said, ‘Thank you for empowering us’ which was like the biggest compliment you could possibly get…” This gave me the idea for a fandom project but I had to cancel it due to lack of participants. Giving it another try now, so if you’re interested read the details here.

To anyone who has ever felt empowered by Amanda Tapping and/or wants to empower her:
Given that Amanda has talked a lot about empowering other women as well as getting herself empowered by other women, I’d like to make a video project about that for her.
How it works: You can participate by either: (a) Sharing a message about how Amanda has empowered you and thanking her. or (b) Giving a message of encouragement/empowerment to Amanda.
You can also do both but try not to mix the messages in the same sentence as I might separate them in the video.
You can speak the message (video or audio, no background music please) or write it down on paper or in some other way (and take a photo/video) or you can send the plain text by email.
It can be something as short as ‘thank you’ / ‘thank you for empowering me’ / ‘keep shining’ or something longer.
You also can do something without words, feel free to get creative.
I’ll put everything together into a video (which I will probably upload unlisted to youtube) and tweet it to her.
Deadline: 30th November 2020. The sooner you participate the better, though, as I will drop the project if I don’t get enough participants.
