"why doesn't this thing in a movie/book/tv show happen exactly like it would in real life" is the most brain dead criticism the internet has to offer, and yet I see it EVERYWHERE.

At the end of the day, trying to apply personal experiences to Sansa and Arya's relationship is pointless. They aren't real little girls whose relationship we're naturally observing. They're characters in a story where an author makes them interact in a specific way for a narrative purpose. Whether or not you have siblings and can relate to their relationship is irrelevant to the story actually being told.

From George:

"Arya was one of the first characters created. Sansa came about as a total opposite b/c too many of the Stark family members were getting along and families aren't like that. Thus, Sansa was created; he ended by saying they have deep issues to work out."

They were given conflict for a reason. Sansa was literally created to be the opposite of Arya so they could have conflict. If the author of the books is telling you this in both the books and again in an interview, then it makes no sense to try and minimize what happened. At that point you aren't actually talking about the text itself, you're just using your personal feelings to support what you think the story should be. If you genuinely believe that their relationship was just normal sibling fighting, then what's the issue with acknowledging that it happened?

I have a feeling Tessa may die eventually in some way and leave N and the others without answers

Hear me out

Remember the toxic air remark??? she had her hand bitten, that’s an open wound. All of that gross air is gonna get to her eventually through that opening. She already looked a bit woozy swinging her sword. That’s just me though

"Jimin and Jungkook's casualness isn't anything out of the ordinary but is still surprising"

'지민 (Jimin) Choreography Practice Sketch' write-up ✍️

"Jimin And Jungkook's Casualness Isn't Anything Out Of The Ordinary But Is Still Surprising"

Among Jimin's gruesome practice sessions and strict work ethics leading up to Face promotions, we were given a peak into a few moments out of Jungkook's visit on day 2.

What struck me (and even k-armys) is that they didn't even bother to pretend to be formal in front of the staff and camera + crew, which just goes to show how long gone are their age barriers in communication and behavior. Once again I know we are all well aware of this development between them, however it is still a bit surprising seeing that happen in front of strangers- especially at their workplace and during work, which is a formal setting. The significance of this may appear minimal to you but in Korean culture, the way you talk to someone but also what you discuss and how you phrase it is highly influenced by the age hierarchy. Allowing someone speak to you informally (even in the public or formal settings) means they now have the same rank as you and their word is thus referred to/significant on the same level as yours and they can express things way more directly. In a highly hierarchical culture with a strong respect for authority (or anyone above) this presents a disruption in an embedded way of thought and behavior that is in the minds of all Koreans from the very early age. 반말 (banmal) of course does happen among many people even those who are not 친구 (friends- meaning people born in the same year) but it is not something that is just expected automatically and in any social setting. (I am excluding family ties here)

Thus, what the international audience may see and perceive only reading the translated subs:

"Ah cool, Jungkook came and supported Jimin"

"Jimin And Jungkook's Casualness Isn't Anything Out Of The Ordinary But Is Still Surprising"

What the Korean audience (or anyone with just a little knowledge of the language and culture) sees and perceives:

"Oh wow they are speaking informally so naturally to each other, they seem so close"

"Jimin And Jungkook's Casualness Isn't Anything Out Of The Ordinary But Is Still Surprising"

JK: "I'll cheer for/ support (you)"

(*said in a form that implies promise to someone for the future, informal tone)

JM: "Come again"

(*said as an informal command or request)

Other fav moments:

"Jimin And Jungkook's Casualness Isn't Anything Out Of The Ordinary But Is Still Surprising"

JK: "Noo, do it once (for me)!"

(*주다 on its own means to give, gift someone something; in combination with other verbs like 하다 (to do) it implies doing something for someone; the most accurate but weird way in English to translate would be: "give a doing" Here Jungkook commands/requests Jimin to do the dance for him in an informal tone which sounds veeery casual, especially considering the dancers nearby 🫣)

"Jimin And Jungkook's Casualness Isn't Anything Out Of The Ordinary But Is Still Surprising"
"Jimin And Jungkook's Casualness Isn't Anything Out Of The Ordinary But Is Still Surprising"

JK: "It's awesome/ You're awesome"

(*Again informal tone, the pronouns are not stated therefore both you/it could be inserted)

JK: "Will be cheering (for you), myself"

(Informal tone, said in a form that implies promise to someone for the future + Jungkook added 내가 at the end of the sentence to emphasize he personally will be cheering/supporting Jimin on. Reminder- Korean sentences don't need pronouns, therefore you can tell he used it for added emphasis)

All in all, Jungkook didn't use the formal level a single time besides when he was leaving and told Jimin + everyone else in the room to "take care" (수고하세요).

Finally, to anyone trying to use Jungkook's informal "nope" to Jimin's direct requests to get his ass over there more frequently probably didn't catch just how """seriously""" both of them were taking that convo, as you can see from Jungkook's smirk hidden under the mask ㅋㅋ

"Jimin And Jungkook's Casualness Isn't Anything Out Of The Ordinary But Is Still Surprising"

Also just how long were they teasing and saying bye to each other if there is a cut and suddenly Jungkook is standing on the other side, still saying bye and holding hands with Jimin? 😆

"Jimin And Jungkook's Casualness Isn't Anything Out Of The Ordinary But Is Still Surprising"
"Jimin And Jungkook's Casualness Isn't Anything Out Of The Ordinary But Is Still Surprising"

This short edit of Jungkook's appearance tells a lot about their dynamic and reassures everyone that can perceive the tone of their closeness. I'm glad we could see a little bit of it in this video!

So I was re-watching some old Vincenzo edits and some funny moments compilations on YouTube.

And I remembered that... Vincenzo is a complete cleanliness freak.

Like it's the very first episode, when he's travelling in the bus after he's drugged and robbed. And the women in the bus offer him a wet tissue. And unlike other kdrama male leads who don't really have problem with dirt, he actually looks at his reflection in the window and he's like "oh my god, my beautiful face", and wipes his face carefully with the tissue. Remember his, very understandable, disgust at the sticky something that gets on his hand in geumga plaza. And the first thing he does after entering the apartment is take a very thorough shower. Like he's literally scrubbing himself, lathered completely, head to toe.

And it's a recurring theme throughout the show. He likes to get things done without any mess. He tells he doesn't like the 'throwing pigs blood on enemy' thing. That he does for Chayoung. And even though he's lived rich most of his life, he's very particular about the things he owns. There's minimal blood on this clothes if ever. The only time his hands are actually bloody is after his mother's death. And the final day, when he knows he's going to take care of things you-know-how, he's wearing black.

My point is that... The, tiny but very visible, speck of blood when he came as Haein's lawyer was left there intentionally.

Knowing Vincenzo, that briefcase is custom made, from real leather and probably limited edition. There's no way in hell or heaven Vincenzo would ever leave a blood splattered on a custom made leather briefcase.

But something else that Vincenzo is also very fond of is theatrics.

And that's why the blood was there. It was probably not even real blood. Just something he, or more probably Chayoung, had put on that very morning for theatrics and special effects. The special effect being Hyunwoo and Yangi's nervousness the whole time and absolute fear and jumpscare at simply opening the briefcase.

I think it's completely canon that Vincenzo then went to Jipuragi and went straight to get warm water and a tissue to clean his bag and then was like, "Byeonhosanim, you'll never believe what this did today".

And Chayoung get's up from her table and comes sits beside him and Mr. Nam makes 3 cups of coffee and our Corn Salad tells them all about it.
