synopsis - after you saw a couple do tiktok trend “calling your boyfriend by your ex’s name”, you decided you would too.

it was your turn to pick up your boyfriend from his work 

you two had a date planned this evening, too 

after quickly calling him to say you’re here already, you quietly scrolled through tiktok 

until you came across a certain video 

it featured a girl calling her boyfriend by her ex’s name randomly while talking 

you took a moment to think it through 

tetsurou was a jealous man, even if he tried not to show it often

he’s a scorpio you can. not. tell me otherwise- 

but you couldn’t deny the curiosity. and plus, you could record it to prove that it was a prank 

you hurriedly hid your phone and put it in front of kuroo’s seat behind your small handbag and started recording 

when he finally came out and into the car, you were practically giggling to yourself excitedly 

“you seem to be in good mood today, babe” 

his usual smooth, low voice was as attractive as ever 

“i am, indeed. what do you feel like eating today?”

“maybe western? we haven’t had pasta in a while.”

“deal.”

you made sure to make plenty of usual small talk so he doesn’t get suspicious in the slightest 

kuroo was observant, he would immediately catch on if you showed even the slightest of signs of a prank 

so you decided to go with the classic 

“(e.name), can you quickly grab my charger from the back seat?”

kuroo went dead silent immediately 

you weren’t a minute into the prank and you already felt yourself tensing up at his reaction 

you could physically feel his cat-like eyes piercing you with the cold stare

the way your name rolled off his tongue sounded intimidating already

“yeah?”

“my name is kuroo tetsurou, in case you needed a reminder.” 

his voice sounded scarily calm, but you knew he was holding back so he doesn’t scare you in any way

“pull over, now”

“pull over. we need to talk.” 

okay, he was angry with you. he didn’t need to raise his voice in the slightest to let you know that

nevertheless, you got yourself into the mess and had to explain 

so you did pull over as he told you to  

however, as soon as you turned off the car

“tetsurou i- mmph!”

you found him pulling you by the back of your neck and smashing his lip onto yours 

you tried to explain first, but he didn’t spare one second 

when you gently tried to push his chest, he did not like it

bit on your lip as a warning but it was lowkey hot

in the end, he kissed you like how he wanted 

rough and fiery to the point it was too intense 

he expressed all his feelings and anger through the kiss 

as he pulled you closer and moved onto your neck, you decided you needed to get it over with

“t-tetsurou, it was a p-prank” 

“hmmm” he hummed against your neck

your breath hitched when he started licking your sensitive neck despite the whole thing being a prank 

“you had fun teasing me, didn’t you baby?” 

he started roughly sucking on your neck, 

you didn’t even need to look to know he was leaving visible, bright hickeys 

“t-tetsu, i’m sorry…” 

“oh you will be when i have you begging for mercy as soon as we get back, baby.” 

he pulled back for now, but your heart didn’t stop feeling like it was about to jump out of your mouth 

you could not upload the video due to legal reasons lmao- 

Bokuto Koutarou

unlike kuroo, he isn’t that sharp when it comes to you pulling off pranks 

which is one of the reasons why you always had the urge to do more on him

his reactions were literally amazing, you could never get enough of them

this time though, you had to really take a time and think it over 

would he possibly get hurt from this? 

because if it was possible, you were not going to proceed with it

just is not worth risking anything

however, when you had a brief talk about Bokuto’s opinion on your ex 

he surprisingly looked very cool with it 

“you’re with me now and your entire heart is mine, what is there to be insecure about?” 

his positivity was contagious, and he brightened your whole life so much 

anyways, you felt it was safe to proceed as long as you filmed it and showed it so he knows for sure it was a prank 

it was a nice, quiet saturday night 

would definitely stop being so quiet soon as your boyfriend was currently on his way to your house 

setting up the camera behind Bokuto’s hat which he left behind, you started filming when you heard his footsteps 

“(y/n)~~~!” he literally started screaming as soon as he saw you and squished you in a big bear hug 

“hello to you too, koutarou” you couldn’t help but flash a big smile back 

damn, he really was a happy virus 

you two were cuddling on the couch in no time 

bingo. it was the perfect time 

“(e.name), baby you are so warm and soft, i love you” 

“aww i love- huh?” 

it took Bokuto’s 2 brain cells almost an entire moment to fully comprehend what you just said 

you had to hold your breath for a while to stop yourself from laughing 

“what’s wrong?” you asked in a sweet voice and kissed him on the cheek

his eyes wide, he had no reaction for a while 

until you felt his grip on you weaken 

“baby… did you just call me (e.name)?” 

his sad voice made your heart ache but the devil in you wanted to play this out longer 

 “i-i baby, i can explain” 

pretending to be shocked, you held onto his arm firmly 

with a sad expression, he rose up and sat facing you

“how could you call me by your… his name?” 

he looked so sad, oml 

you know how he looks when he goes into emo mode?

well, he looked 10x sadder 

“i think about you day and night, you are the only one for me, baby. (y/n) (y/l/n) is the only name in my head at any time of the day…” 

he softly gripped your hand and brought it to his lips 

leaving an unbelievably ginger kiss 

an unexpected confession left you feeling extra guilty 

“baby, please don’t leave me. i’ll be better, i’ll try better i- i can’t-” 

when Bokuto started muttering something inaudible afterwards, you decided you had enough 

“it was a prank, baby. i would never, ever want anyone else but you.” 

you pulled him into a super tight hug, burying your face into his shoulder 

his soothing presence was all you could ever wish for any time 

you could feel his physical tension leave his body at once

“BABY, HOW COULD YOU? I WAS SOOOO SCARED!!”

despite his words, he hugged you back ten times harder 

after the hug, he held your face in his large hands

and just pressed kisses everywhere and anywhere 

“i’m so happy you only look at me, honey” 

you guys ended up cuddling even more 

the tiktok you uploaded went viral, tbh 

full of comments like “YOU GO AND CUDDLE HIM RIGHT THIS INSTANT” and “OMG HE IS SO PRECIOUS, WHERE DID YOU FIND HIM”
