I honestly think that apart from JKR not being a good person(rather, having ideas and opinions which make her a bad person), she is also not a good world builder. She lacks the critical thinking to see ideas through. Props to her on the creativity(of copy pasting a bunch of stuff to create something which sells a lot)
She just doesn't complete her own thoughts and ends up in horribly bad stances. I am not over the fact that she supported making Hermione black in the cursed play. It makes people ridiculing her anti slavery stance sooo much worse!!

and literally everybody is like “no they like it actually” and nobody takes her seriously
it was not important to the plot in any way which means joan did not have to write it like that but she choose to do it anyways
