We are retreating to my mother's basement for the weekend. Hopefully the whole weekend, but we'll see. The kids haven't slept anywhere but their own rooms in ages so we'll see how the change in scenery for bedtime goes over. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
We have a total of 3 fans in the living room, 2 fans in the youngest's bedroom, 1 large one for my eldest, and 2 in my room. 1 facing the window unit so it doesn't freeze over and a small desk one directly next to my bed.
We're going to bring a couple fans back over for the weekend to set up in the basement bedroom. I really hope that even if it's only for one day/night we'll truly have some relief.
The HVAC guy finally called, furious. The part did not arrive today like it was supposed to. The guy is angry. My husband is angry. We are all still miserable. We survived the day, somehow.
I almost fainted in the living room a few hours ago. Idk how I even stayed conscious. Tachycardia has been a bitch even with my heart meds again.
That part has GOT to arrive tomorrow....
Okay. So. The HVAC guy was TOLD "Sorry we were supposed to order that part right after the call was made requesting the order. But we didnt get that order in until end of day so the part didnt get here when we promised. Sorry"
But what actually happened. (That we found out only after the HVAC guy GRILLED them AGAIN today on why the part wasnt here today either. What actually happened was.
The guy he spoke on the phone with, said sure I'll get that order in right away. Hung up. AND IMMEDIATELY CLOCKED OUT WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE ABOUT THE ORDER.
SO NOW THE PART WON'T GET HERE UNTIL FRIDAY. SIR. IT IS TUESDAY. WE'VE ALREADY SUFFERED A WEEK NOW WITHOUT IT.
Do you realize this family has medically heat intolerant members desperately awaiting this to be replaced?!
We're livid.
