Summary: The AU in which Jude’s a professional dancer auditioning to be one of the first male dancers for the Devil Boys and have the biggest surprise when he sees one of the basketball player watching the dancer audition is no one else but the blond guy he’s been falling in love with by watching him work on his motorcycle through his window sitting on his windowsill.
Bonnie Kinkade
Jude could barley contain himself his mom was coming to visit. He hadn’t seen her since he moved to LA. She was going to meet his friends, his family(Zero) and she was going to be the first person to see his and Zero’s house all done. The house that used to be filled with horrible memories of Zero’s Childhood. But now those memories were a thing in a past. Him and Zero were starting new ones. He was so excited, he bounced up and down looking out the house window. Finally his moms taxi pulled up. Jude ran out the door, his and Zero new puppy Zude running after him. “Mom!” Jude screamed, happy tears filled his eyes. A women about 3ft smaller then Jude, with short brown hair, a huge smile and the person Jude got most of his looks from stepped out of the Taxi with opened arms. “Give mama some sugar, sugar.” Bonnie (Judes mom) grabbed Jude and hugged him tight. She was so happy to finally see her son. Jude grabbed Bonnie’s bags. “Who’s this little guy?” Bonnie said picking up Zude. “That’s mine and Zero’s puppy Zude.” Zude wagged his tail and gave Bonnie kisses. “He’s very friendly and very small. What kind of name is Zude? And what kind of dog is he?” Jude held the door open for his mom. “He’s a Australian Shepard, so he’ll get way bigger. And all of Zero’s fans call us Zude, Z for Zero, U-D-E for Jude.” Bonnie laughed and flopped on the couch. “That is vey cute.” Zero walked in the house all warn out and sweaty from practice. Jude and Bonnie looked up confused to see he was home so early. “I fucking hate Jelena. She is nothing but a dumb ass bi-” “Zero! Meet my mom.” Zero hadn’t seen Bonnie sitting by Jude. He walked over and put on a embarrassed smile. “I’m so sorry I’m Zero, and I apologize-.” Bonnie put her hand up to Shh Zero. “Sit down, let’s order food and relax. It’s Friday you have a game tonight right?” Zero sat across from Bonnie and Jude. “Yes ma'am we do.” Zude jumped on Zero’s lap and gave him kisses. “Ugh please don’t call me ma'am makes me feel old” Bonnie laughed. “Sorry.” “Speaking of names. Is Zero your actually name?” “I’ll get us take out. What do you want mom?” Jude said trying to cut in. “Oh we don’t talk about his name? Ok.” Bonnie took the hint. “It’s fine Jude.” Zero smiled. “My names Not really Zero.” “Oh?” “When I was growing up I wasn’t like Jude. I didn’t really have a family. I had my sister Laura and in this very house is were we grew up with our Foster parents. They always said I would amount to nothing and be a ZERO.” Zero looked away sad by the memories. “So the people you were suppose to call your family? Call mom and Dad. Said you were a Zero.” “Yes, Never really had a mom or a dad.” Bonnie smiled, got up and sat next to Zero. “Let’s get something straight here.” Bonnie burst out laughing. “Straight, something you too aren’t.” Jude shook his head. “You have made my baby happy for these past months, you have given him a home, a shoulder to cry on, a partner in crime.-” “Mom get to the point.” “Jude Thomas Kinkade, mother is talking.” Zero gave Jude a haha you’re in trouble look. “But most importantly you gave him a home. Which means you are family. And now you have a mom and I never let him down and I won’t let you down either.” Zero kissed Bonnie’s cheek and hugged her. “Thank you, it really means a lot.” “Do you have a real name Zero?” “It’s Gideon.” Jude smiled. “We’ll that’s what you will be called then. Gideon.” Gideon smiled at Bonnie. “Thanks mom.” “While Jude is ordering us food, why don’t you tell me why you fucking hate Jelena?” “Yeah why don’t oh tell Us.” Jude shouted from the kitchen. He walked back in the room with a take out menu. “She said some things.” Gideon didn’t want to go into detail. Jude turned his head and raised his eyebrow. “So I said some things back and coach told me to go home and cool off before the game tonight.” “Let’s here these things you speak of.” Bonnie asked. Gideon signed. “She said she was surprised Jude was still with a loser like me. And said she wished he stayed with this guy Lucas that Jude went on a date with once. And that’s when I said I wish Terrence had dumped her ass sooner and that she was someone who didn’t deserve love blah blah and coach told me I was acting out and had to go home before the game. Oh and I’m on the bench tonight. Not allowed to play! Just watch.” “You’re not serious?” Jude was angry. “Even Ahsha was upset for me.” Jude shook his head. He was pissed. Gideon had only defended himself. “This is the Jelena who had you traded and shot a few months back?” Gideon and Jude shook their heads. “But someone how I wound up back on the team and I don’t even know how. Or why. I’m sure I’ll go back tonight and find out I’m fired.” Jude rolled his eyes. “I hate that women.” Gideon smiled . “Me too.” “Alright let’s forget about that for a minute.” Bonnie reached into her bag and pulled out old photos of Jude as a baby. “And look at baby Jude.” Jude’s eyes widened. “Mother!” Gideon took all the photos and looked at little Jude with a huge smile. “You were adorable.” Gideon laughed. “Shut up.” Jude was embarrassed. “Aww don’t be embarrassed. You really were cute. You’re still cute. And you still have a nice ass.” Gideon put on a wicked smile and turned a photo of baby Jude laying naked on a blanket, but naked. Jude walked over and grabbed he photos. “No more.” “Aww.” Bonnie and Gideon said together. “You were so cute.” Bonnie frowned. “He’s still cute.” Gideon got up and kissed Judes cheek. “I will eventually see all those photos.” “Or you won’t.” Jude smirked. Bonnie winked at Gideon. “Oh Honey I have a shit load more of them. They’re back in New York but I’ll make sure Gideon sees them.” Bonnie laughed. New York is were she had been living for the past few years. She moved around a lot. After they ate dinner Bonnie and the boys headed to the arena. She followed Gideon to the locker room, we’re all the boys were getting dressed. “Hey Lady.” The team shouted. “Oh please boys I’ve seen dicks before.” Pete walked out of his office and looked at Bonnie. “Can I help you.” “The coach right?” “Yes and you are.” “You see Gid-Zero isn’t going to sit on the bench tonight. He defended himself to that little bitch today and you benching him is uncalled for. I’ve been keeping up with these games and let’s admit it. He’s one of the best players on your team. And if you’re going against the second best basketball team in America tonight you will not bench him. And if you don’t want to deal with me, then you will let him play.” Bonnie gave a wicked smile. “Who the hell are you lady?” Pete asked. Oscar walked in and dropped his drink on the floor. Bonnie turned to Oscar and then back to the boys. “I’m his Ex wife. And if you think that he’s bad. You sure haven’t seen anything yet.” Bonnie walked over to Oscar and slapped him across he face. Oscar backed up. Oscar KinKade wasn’t scared of anyone, unless anyone was his Ex wife Bonnie Kinkade. Everyone watched to see what Oscar might do. “I’ve heard you been a bad man Oscar and you may be acting better with our son now, but that does not change anything at all. If you hurt him or anyone else I care about again. I will do damage. Am I clear?” Bonnie looked at Oscar and Pete. “Yes.” Hey boy answered. Bonnie smiled. “Very good boys.” Bonnie walked out of the locker room. As the game started Jelena ran over to Pete freaking out about Zero playing. “I will have your job of you don’t take him off of this court do you understand me.” Bonnie got up and walked over. “You must be Jelena.” Jelena looked at Bonnie in disgust. “And you are?” “I’ll tell you who I’m not. I’m not someone who got shot for being a bitch a few more the ago. Or someone who enjoys ruining good peoples lives or hurting the man I love. And I am most definitely not someone who will take your shit. You may own the team but their is something you don’t own and that’s me. So you listen to me Jelena. If you say anything else to Zero, Pete, Jude or anyone else I like. I will take this team away from you. I will take everything away from you. You don’t know me and you don’t want to know me. You don’t scare me. But you do piss me off and that’s not a good thing. It takes a lot to piss me off sweetheart but you have clearly done that. So let’s make a deal you stop be a self richest bitch and We won’t have a problem. Continue to be a bitch and being shot will not have been the worse thing to happen to you. Got it.” Bonnie raised an eyebrow. Jelena didn’t scare easily but for some reason Bonnie Sent chills up Jelena’s spine. Jelena didn’t want to seem weak in front of everyone she worked with, who were currently watching her. “Lady you don’t I so who you’re messing with.” “So you’re going to continue to be a bitch?” Jelena gave Bonnie a wicked Smile. Bonnie gave her a wicked smile back and flipped her long brown hair. “I’ll see you soon.” Jelena watched Bonnie walk away. “Who is she?” “She’s Bonnie Kinkade and you have no clue what you have just done to yourself.” “What makes you say that?” “The Devil himself is scared of his own Ex-Wife.” Jelena looked at Pete with horror in her eyes. If Oscar was scared of Bonnie then Jelena had a reason to be scared. Watch out Devils Nation, Bonnie Kinkade was in the Arena and Bonnie Kinkade is not someone you want to mess with.

HTF (James Larosa’ thoughts on season 5 & Zude)
After three seasons on VH1 and one season on BET, “Hit the Floor” was canceled for the final time back in December. Creator James LaRosa […] revealed on Monday that the show would officially not be coming back on any network or platform.
Still, he said he’d never want to “leave anyone in the lurch” about what was going to happen to their favorite characters, and he’s keeping to that with his post on Monday. He shared all of the answers about what was to come for the players, dancers and businesspeople of “Hit the Floor.”
The Devils did lose their team, and a new one comes to town, but none of the characters are ready to let that happen […] “Thanks to Jelena, who returns herself to right the ship. But it’s going to take something more to put them over the top. That comes with the arrivals of Zero, Sloane and Terrence.”
[…] Zero shocks Jude by telling him he didn’t return for the Devils, he returned for Jude. He’s overcome his fears about his sexuality once and for all, bares his heart and soul, and proposes. The two get married in front of friends and family, including Zero’s sister, Laura, “who Jude tracks down as his wedding gift.” Zero and Jude have a baby girl, that Lionel carries. The Kinkades thrive.
For LaRosa’s final words about the show, he wrote, “Four amazing seasons, we laughed and cried, we danced, we looked for clues, we rooted for people who played hard and loved hard, and it didn’t matter what their race or gender or sexual orientation was. We wanted them to win. And they did. Devils Nation Rise Up! And we keep rising, forever, together.”
